About College:
Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology is an AICTE approved, Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna affiliated, Co-Ed engineering college.
The college campus is spread over an estate of 17 acres in a fast developing Industrial area of Purnea having very calm and lush green atmosphere conducive to learning and free thinking. The infrastructure and facilities have been developed well beyond the guidelines of AICTE, New Delhi. These consist of CollegeBuildings, Laboratories, Workshop, Canteens, Administrative Block, Smart Class, Language Labs, Leased Line Internet, a well stocked Library, Outdoor and Indoor Games.

It is yet another educational venture by a group of enthusiastic professionals primarily the alumni of Netarhat School under the aegis of Vidya Vihar Educational Trust (VVET) in follow-up to their 15 year old Vidya Vihar Residential School project at Parora in Purnea. For admission to any branch of Engineering the candidate should have completed Class XII with minimum 50% of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

ü The printed application form for admission along with the prospectus can be obtained on cash payment of Rs 400/- from the sales centres advertised.
ü The same can be obtained by sending an account payee Bank Draft for Rs 475/- by registered post drawn in favour of Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology,payable at Purnea and addressed to Director, Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology, At & PO Maranga, Distt. Purnea, Pin - 854 301. (Bihar)
ü The application form should be signed by the candidate and countersigned by the person responsible for paying Engineering College fees. On receipt of duly filled in Application form, Registration Card and Admit Card along with Registration fee of Rs 500/- by demand draft in favour of Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology, payable at Purnea, the candidate is registered for tests.
ü Test is not mandatory for students who have qualified in IIT- JEE (EML) , AIEEE (BELOW RANK 2 LAKH) or BCECE or for a boy candidate with more than 65% Marks in PCM (+2) or for a girl candidate with more than 60% Marks in PCM (+2)
ü The form can also be downloaded and the duly filled in form should be sent to the College along with a DD of Rs 975/- for registration and prospectus.
