Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC), under the aegis of AEPC has emerged as India’s Largest Vocational Training Network for the Apparel Sector with around 175 ATDCs including 65 ATDC Vocational Institutes and over 135 ATDC- SMART Centres and Skill Camps present in major Apparel clusters spread across 22 states & 85 cities Pan India. The Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 on February 15, 1991 at New Delhi with the mission to upgrade the technical skills of the human resources employed in the Garment Industry.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) (Executive Management Program)

Eligibility:

An applicant should have:

·         A minimum of 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE,

·         A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent CGPA, and

·         A minimum of 2 years of post qualification executive work experience (excluding stipendiary / training period) as on 31 March 2019 for April 2019 Batch and 30th September, 2019 for October 2019 Batch.

Selection Process

The Post Graduate Programme in Management (Part-time) is currently offered twice a year (viz. April and October). The selection would be based on a MDI Test (conducted by MDI in MDI Campus, Gurgaon) /GMAT / CAT. The candidate with a valid CAT and GMAT score are not required to appear in the MDI written test.

All applicants/candidates will also be required to appear for personal interview held at MDI Gurgaon campus on February 24, 2019 (Tentatively) for April 2019 Batch and September 1, 2019 (Tentatively) for the October 2019 Batch.

Through MDI Test

The candidates will have to appear for a MDI written test to be conducted by MDI in its Gurgaon Campus. This test is on similar lines/of the same pattern as the Common Admission Test (CAT). The MDI test will have sections on quantitative ability, logical reasoning and English language skills. The tentative dates for the MDI Test is February 24, 2019 (Sunday) for April 2019 Batch and September 1, 2019 (Sunday) for the October 2019 Batch.

Through CAT -2018

The Common Admission Test (CAT-2018) is conducted by the IIMs on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Applicants must refer to the CAT Advertisement for further details.

Through GMAT

If the applicant is applying through GMAT, the GMAT score should have validity of 5 years with reference to closing date of April & October 2019 batch respectively.

Sponsorship

The programme would admit both organization-sponsored as well as self-sponsored candidates. A sponsorship letter from the organization would be required in the case of organization-sponsored candidates. A no objection letter from the organization will be required from self-sponsored candidates.

Eligibility

·         All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT*/XAT+ /CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.

·         For PGDM 2019, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT scores of years 2017/ 2018 or XAT scores of years 2018/2019 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2017 or CMAT scores of the year 2018/2019

·         All applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

·         Fresher’s and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience as on 30th June 2019 are ONLY eligible to apply. (Candidates with greater than 24 months of work- experience are requested to apply for the Great lakes PGPM program).

·         There will be a special preference for College / University rank holders in terms of an extra weightage gained as part of the selection process. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.

·         Great Lakes uses CAT scores only for screening applications for admissions and IIMs have no role in the conduct of Great Lakes academic programs

·         + Great Lakes is not an associate institute of XLRI but uses XAT scores only for screening applicants for admission & XLRI has no role to play in the conduct of any of Great Lakes Management Programs

Evaluation Process: Applicants are evaluated based on GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT scores, past academic performance, essays, work experience and performance in the personal interview

Course Name:

Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGP-PPM) Approved by AICTE

Eligibility:

All India Services and Class I Service officers from Central and State Governments, sponsored by DoPT, Govt.of India.

The programme is open to officers of All India Services, Central Services (organized, non-organized, technical and non-technical), faculty members of State Administrative Training Institutes and also officers of the State Civil Service (SCS)/ Non-State Civil Services (Non-SCS) subject to the following eligibility conditions:

Length of Service: Officers should have completed 5 years of Group-A service as on commencement of the programme

Age: The officer should have at least three years remaining service after completion of the programme

Earlier Training: The officer should not have undergone a training programme of 12 weeks or more duration in India during a period of 5 years preceding the date of commencement of this programme. Further, The officer should not have undergone a programme of training abroad of more than 2 weeks in preceding 2 years, more than one month in preceding 3-years or more than six months in the preceding five years.
