About College:

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of technology created as centers excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India, the others being at Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay, Guwahati and Roorkee. Established as College Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi ". It was then accorded the status of a deemed university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Executive Master of Business Administration (E-MBA) [Evening Program] for Working Executives {Department of Management Studies}

Eligibility:

Following academic qualifications will be the eligibility criteria for admission.

First class degree or equivalent in

·         Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology

·         Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)

·         Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Computer Application, Economics, Commerce and CA/ICWAI

AND

·         Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years / semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the above mentioned degree programmes are essential for admission.

·         For SC/ST/PH category Students, minimum performance in the qualifying degree with postgraduate qualification is relaxed from 60% to 55% (CGPA relaxed from 6.00 to 5.50).

·         A minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying degree work experience as on 01 August 2020.

Fee

Tution Fees for Indian Citizen:

Rs. 10.80 Lacs for the entire Executive MBA Programme payable in equal installments (6 Semesters)

How to Apply:

Desirous candidates should apply online along with online payment of Rs. Two Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 2,500/-) towards application fees. For more information and filling of application form visit http://dms.iitd.ac.in/admission-executive-mba.

Computer based Written Test and Personal Interview will be conducted by I.I.T. Delhi. While filling the form, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The online link for application will be available at College website.

Written Test

Candidates should report at the Centre (as mentioned in the admit card) at 09:00 hours on 5 April 2020 (Sunday) for test. Admit card can be downloaded from the link provided above.

The short-listed candidates will be invited for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The list of these candidates will be displayed on the above mentioned link.

Eligibility:

A CGPA of 6.0 for General/OBC/EWS (5.50 for SC/ST/PH) on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH) in aggregate (Of all the years/Semesters of the qualifying exam.). A relaxation in CGPA/marks to 0.5 (5%) is also available to those with M.A. degree in english, for admission to Ph.D in Humanities and Social Sciences. for admission to full time Ph.d/M.S (R) Programme, the qualifying GATE/National Exam is required. for sponsored/Part-time candidates, the details of minimum experience (Full time) after qualifying degree and as on date of registration are given in the information brochure. the requirement of GATE/National Exam is waived for some graduates/students From CFTIs. for details, please refer to the information brochure.

Application Procedure:

Submission of Application is only through online. Candidates are NOT required to send hard copy of the application form and bank Challan. Online submission of application form may be made by accessiong the institute website <www.iitd.ac.in/pgadmission>. Please read the detailed instructions given in the information brochure. Candidates belonging to General/OBC/EWS category are required to pay for each application form a fees of Rs. 200/- and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are required to pay Rs. 50/- the bank charges will be borne by the candidate.

Financial Assistance available for full time Ph.D/M.S. (R) Students as per details given in the information brochure. SC/ST/PH students admitted to Postgraduate/Ph.D. Programmes are exempted from payment of tuition fee.

Foreign nationals are not eligible to apply against this advertisement.
