About College:

Institute History: The college was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.

Eligibility:

Minimum eligibility criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agricultural or Computer Applications or Master degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics while scoring minimum CGPA of 6.5 on the 10-point scale (60% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded) with a relaxation for SC/ST implying minimum of 6.0 on the 10-point scale (55% marks, only where CGPA is not awarded).

On 10-point scale,

Equivalent %age = [(CGPA – 0.5)/10] X 100%

On x-point scale,

How to Apply:

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

1.    Register on online MBA admissions portal using a valid email id.

2.    Receive user id/password on the registered email id.

3.    Login using user id/password on online MBA admissions portal.

4.    Pay application fees online. (Rs. 2000.00 for Open/OBC/EWS; Rs. 1000 for SC/ST/PH)

Please note that the application fee is non-refundable in any case. You are required to ensure your eligibility as per information provided in the Information brochure before making payment.

5.    Proceed to fill in complete application form as per instructions.

6.    Submit application form. Please re-check form before submitting. No update/modification can be done after submission.

7.    Upload copy of your passport size photograph.

8.    Download and take printout of filled in application form. Candidates are required to bring a copy of the downloaded application form with a color photograph affixed at the time of GD/PI. You may keep one copy for your future reference also.

Please note that the application form number will be your unique id and reference number which will be used for all further processing of your candidature. Candidates are strongly advised to mention the application number in all their future communications regarding MBA Admissions 2020-21.

About College:

Nidhi Dube from the Indian Institute of Craft and Design wrote to me to introduce Tejas Soni and his experiments with the Dhokra craft. Dhokra is an ancient craft practised by nomadic tribes who have since settled into parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and parts of southern India. One of the earliest known pieces found was the Bronze dancing girl at Mohenjadaro. The craft is practised by both men and women and the objects are cast in metal using what is known as the lost wax process. Today it features more as a exotic buy rather than a relevant ingredient in our daily lives as it was in the ancient times when religious figures, jewellery, diyas, animal figurines and vessels were essential in many homes.

Filling the Application Form

The application has to be filled up online at: https://www.iicd.ac.in/admission.php.

Application form will be accepted only if all the required fields in the online application form are filled up and the attachments are properly uploaded within acceptable criteria as mentioned below. If the application is properly filled up and payment is properly done, the applicant will receive the confirmation email with payment reference id. If the email is not received the applicant is requested to contact to the admissions@iicd.ac.in with the bank statement / card transaction proof. In case, the uploaded documents are not within acceptable limits, the candidate will receive an email to resend the documents in the acceptable format, after that the application will be processed.

Admission Process Fee

The Admission process fee for Indian Candidates is Rs.1,750/- (Rs. One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only) and for NRI/ Foreign National Candidates is Rs. 3500/- (Rs. Three Thousand Five hundred only). This fee is non refundable.

Entrance Test Guidelines

The Admission forms that are submitted, in acceptable format, on or before the last date, will be processed for Entrance Test.

Entrance Test Centers

The IICD Entrance Test will be conducted at fourteen (14) locations all over India, as mentioned below:

Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Udaipur

The candidate has to indicate his/her choices of 3 (three) Test centers in order of preferences. IICD reserves the right to cancel or change the test center/date. Any such changes will be communicated to the registered candidates.

Entrance Tests will be conducted in two parts, i.e.,
