Spread over about 100 acres of land, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, is situated on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam Area of ancient city of Calicut in Kerala. Course Name:

Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGPM) 13^th batch [at Kochi Campus (classroom based)]

Eligibility:

i.              A Bachelor's Degree* or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50%** aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA; 3 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience*** after successful completion of graduation as on 08th September 2020

ii.             Possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

iii.            In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree

Selection Process

a.    Eligibility of the participants to apply for the program is ascertained based on the information provided in the application form and supporting documents submitted

b.    All eligible candidates are required to undergo the selection process, which consists of an entrance test EMAT followed by personal interview.

c.    All eligible candidates are required to produce the original academic and experience records for verification on the date of EMAT & Personal Interview

d.    Normally EMAT & Interview will happen on the same day

e.    Candidates with valid CAT score^ (Min 75 percentile) or GMAT score^ (Min 650 Score) will be directly considered for the interview. Such candidates are not required to attend EMAT

f.     Candidates who do not attend the EMAT/Interview as per the schedule communicated will not be considered for further selection process.

Exam Center

Candidates applying for the EPGP-13 batch are required to choose one center to appear for EMAT/Interview from the following 8 centers

Course Name:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management [specialization in: Economics, Finance, Accounting and Control, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing Management, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources, Quantitative Methods & Operations Management, Strategic Management] Full-Time Residential

Eligibility:

One of the following qualifications is required as basic eligibility:

a.    Master’s or Post Graduate Diploma (2 yrs) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

b.    Professional qualifications of CA, ICWA and CS with B Com/Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent.

c.    B Tech/4 year Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent*

(* for c above additional minimum 3 years relevant experience is required for applying to Marketing Management Area)

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) and Persons-with-Disabilities will be given a 5% relaxation in the minimum marks requirement.

Those appearing for the final exams can also apply; but, their final selection will be subject to successful completion of the requirement by June 30, 2020. Their admission will be provisional till they produce the required certificates of qualification before December 2020.

All relevant qualifications mentioned above must be granted by appropriate bodies in India or abroad and recognized as equivalent.

Reservations

IIMK's PhD admission follows the reservation policy of the Government of India.

Selection: Candidates will be short listed on the recommendation of respective areas based on their Profile and Qualifying Scores. Such candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (and written tests for certain areas) at IIM Kozhikode. Accommodation will be available to the candidates (on payment basis) inside the campus for attending the interviews.

How to Apply:

Candidates are required to apply online. They can apply to a maximum of two areas of specialization. An application fee of Rs.1000/- is required (Rs. 2000/- in case you are opting for IIMB Test), which has to be remitted online through the link provided with the application form. Scanned copies of all academic mark-sheets, qualifying examination score card and category certificate are to be uploaded along with the online application form. Two referee recommendations about the candidate are required to complete the formal submission of application. The recommendation letter can be submitted online by the referee directly to IIMK and the link for online submission will be provided to the referee to his/her email id.

Program Fee:

INR.22,50,000/- (Indian Rupees Twenty Two Lakh Fifty Thousand Only). This fee includes program delivery, books and instruction material, in-campus hostel accommodation, and access to all in-campus facilities such as the library. Mess/Canteen charges would be additional and use-dependent. The above fees also includes program and coordination fees for the International Immersion module and a travel allowance for domestic industry immersion module. Travel and stay related expenses for the international immersion will be additional and will have to be borne separately by the students.

INR 7,50,000 (Indian Rupees Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) will be payable at the time of registration and the balance in three instalments.

Academic Eligibility
