About College:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research and policy development in the area of Public Health.

Master in Public Health (offered at IIPH-Gandhinagar)

Eligibility:

The course is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks. Preference will be given to applicants having a graduate/bachelor's degree in any of the following fields - medical and paramedical sciences, veterinary sciences, management, natural sciences (including biology), social sciences, engineering, law, commerce or accounting, communication or any equivalent qualification with good academic records. Relevant work experience in health or development sector will be an advantage but not mandatory.

Master in Public Health (offered at IIPH-Hyderabad)

Eligibility:

Candidates with bachelor's degree in medicine, dentistry, Ayurvedic medicine, homeopathy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, nutrition, veterinary sciences, science, social sciences, management, biotechnology, pharmacy, statistics, engineering will be eligible to apply. For candidates other than medicine, dentistry, nursing, occupational therapy and physiotherapy two years experience in health sector is desirable. Proficiency in English is essential.

Course Name:

Master in Public Health (offered at IIPH-Delhi)

Eligibility:

Medical graduates (MBBS), Dental graduates (BDS), Graduates of AYUSH [Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)], B Tech or BE (Any Branch) and graduates of four‐year degree programs in Veterinary Sciences, Nursing sciences, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, or students with a postgraduate degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics, Demography, Population Studies, Nutrition, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Management or Law may apply. Work experience in a health‐ related field is desirable.

Integrated MSc & PhD in Clinical Research (offered at IIPH-Delhi NCR)

Eligibility:

·         Applicants with graduate qualifications in: medical and allied fields like dentistry, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing and veterinary science.

·         Applicants with graduate qualifications in: biological and life sciences (microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, zoology), basic sciences (chemistry), occupational therapy and bio-statistics.

·         All applicants should have basic computing skills and proficiency in English.

Course Name:

Integrated MSc & PhD in Health informatics (offered at IIPH-Hyderabad)

Eligibility:

·         Bachelor's degree, in any science discipline under the 10+2+3 system. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in health care and information technology.

·         All applicants should have basic computing skills and proficiency in English.

Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) (offered at IIPH-Gandhinagar)

Eligibility:

The course is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks. Preference will be given to applicants having a graduate/bachelor's degree in any of the following fields - medical, dental, physiotherapy, AYUSH, nursing and paramedical sciences; veterinary sciences; management; natural sciences (including biology); social sciences and social work; engineering; law; commerce or accounting; communication; etc. Relevant work experience in health and hospital sector will be an advantage but are not mandatory.

Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) (offered at IIPH-Delhi NCR, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad & Bhubaneswar)

Eligibility:

Self Sponsored Applicants Applicants should have a graduate/ postgraduate degree in medicine, AYUSH, dental, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, natural/life sciences, management, social sciences, social work, economics, statistics or any equivalent qualification. Candidates with work experience in health/ development sector will be given preference. All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, announces PG Entrance Exam for MD, MS, M.Ch (6 Years), MDS, DM, M.Ch, MHA & Ph.D programmes for 2015 session.

The degrees granted by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Science Act are recognized Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be including in the first scheduled of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to be included in the first scheduled of that Act, entitling the holder to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized University of India.

Eligibility:

1.     DM/MCh

A Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS or DNB from a University recognized by the MCI

The candidate who are likely to complete 3 years requisite tenure and degree by 30th January, 2015 may also apply. However, the candidates who complete their 3 years requisite tenure after 30th January, 2015 are not eligible to take up this examination.

2.     MHA

The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application. 

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

3.     PhD

A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations. 

2. MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

4.     MD/MS/MDS

A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2015. The candidate who complete their internship after 30th January, 2015 are not eligible to take up this examination. 

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

Application Procedure:

The prospectus is available on the website and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of online Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates).

A candidate can submit application only On-Line through Internet. Visit website read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank by the candidate.

Application Fee General / OBC Category: Rs. 1000/- (SC/ST Category: Rs. 800/-) plus transaction charges as applicable Payment through computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or through Debit /Credit Card

Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode for entrance test to be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences on 15 th October, 2013 for admission to various PG/Post Doctoral Courses (MD/MS/M.Ch/MDS/DM/MHA/Ph.D) for January 2014 session.

Eligibility:

DM/MCh
