Eligibility:

1. M.Tech Degree of a University or equivalent for Ph.D. in Engineering / Technology in respective branch with 60% Aggregate Marks or CGPA not less than 6 on scale of 10.
2. Master's Degree of a University for Ph.D. in Sciences / Humanities / Social Sciences / Management / Pharmacy in respective discipline or equivalent with 60% Aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 6 on scale of 10.
3. M.C.A. Degree with 60% Aggregate Marks or equivalent CGPA and two years experience for Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology Departments.
4. Consistently good academic performance is desirable.

Selection Process:

1. Admission shall be based on personal interview of eligible candidates only. Each eligible candidate will have to give a short presentation before the interview committee in the area of research interest.

Eligibility:

Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida was established in the year 2001 and has been declared as a “Deemed to be University” under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956. The undergraduate programs of the University have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation of AICTE.

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Doctor of Philosophy PhD in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, JIIT, Noida

Regular (Not distance mode) M. Tech Degree for Ph.D. in Engineering / Technology in respective branch with 60% Aggregate Marks or equivalent CGPA.

Regular (Not distance mode) Master’s Degree for Ph.D. in Sciences / Humanities / Social Sciences / Management / Pharmacy with 60% Aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

Admission Procedure

Satisfying the requirements of minimum qualifications as laid down in Performance in Interview for those who have qualified in GATE / SLET / UGC / CSIR (JRF) examinations. Performance in the PhD Entrance Test to be conducted by JIIT, Noida for all those who are not qualified in any of the examinations mentioned in and the subsequent Interview. Candidates are required to discuss their research interests and proposed research work at the time of Interview. JIIT would decide the number of Scholars to be admitted before the selections every time. Due attention will be given to the National Reservation Policy. Faculty members can be permitted to register directly. The students admitted to the PhD Program will be required to register themselves for the specific Program. The registration will be renewed every semester on satisfactory progress.

Obtain application form and brochure from any of the three campuses by cash payment of Rs 1000/-/ or sending a bank draft of Rs. 1000/- to JIIT favoring JIIT, Noida.
