National Insurance Academy (NIA), a premier insurance institute in India was established in the year 1980 by the public sector insurance companies. Course Name:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) [PGDM core Management subjects like Finance, HR, Marketing and IT along with Insurance Subject viz General Insurance, Life Insurance, Re-Insurance and Plantation]

Eligibility:

A graduation degree or equivalent from any recognized Indian/foreign university with a minimum of 50% for General and 45% for SC/ST/DA Category. Students appearing for final year can apply subject to completion of their examination requirements by June 30, 2020.

Selection Based on

1.    Upper age limit is 28 years for General, OBC-NC and 30 years for SC/ST/DA category as on 1st July 2020.

2.    NIA has adopted Reservation Policy in admissions as per Central Government Rules applicable to Academic Institutions like IITs and IIMs.

3.    Weightage of Selection Parameters for Final Selection

i.   Past Academic Record : 20%

ii.  Performance in CAT / CMAT : 50 % 

iii. Performance in GD/PI : 30% (GD :10marks + PI :20marks = 30marks)

iv. Relevant work Experience (appropriate weightage will be given to those candidates with relevant work experience at the time of interview)

Fee Structure (Residential): Rs. 12, 50,000/-

The fee structure comprises basic annual fee, campus accommodation* and hostel dining, professional and incidental expenditure on account of the program for two years.

*Campus accommodation is available for limited number of students. Those who do not get campus accommodation can easily find suitable accommodation in nearby area surrounding the campus. Necessary relief in fees is given to such nonresident students.

Hostel accommodation will be provided to the students in the order mentioned below:

1) Girl students as per merit          

2) SC, ST, DA, OBC-NC students as per merit         

3) Remaining students in the order of their overall score in the merit list.

Eligibility:

The minimum qualification for admission into PGDM (Dual Specialization) Program is Bachelor's Degree in any discpline. For admission students can apply with CAT/XAT/MAT/C-MAT/JEE/Other National Level Test Score Cards. The candidates pursuing final year graduation and expecting their result by August 31, 2020 can also apply.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made on the basis of scores of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ C-MAT followed by G.D. & P.I, which will be conducted at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and other parts of the country. The date for G.D. & P.I. will be declared later.

Admission procedure

A candidate can APPLY ONLINE to IMIS by logging on to website for registration. Complete instructions for online application are available at this website. Upon submission of the application form an Identification No (ID) will be allotted to the candidate. Please note this ID Number for further correspondence.

A candidate can also purchase the application form & Info-bulletin by sending Rs.1000/- application fee and the same can be submitted to IMIS by post.

The candidate applying through online will send a mail to confirm the acceptance of the application form for admission 2020.

Attested photocopies in duplicates of the following documents and photographs are to be submitted along with the application. The final year graduating students are required to submit the Degree Pass Mark Sheets/Certificate by August 31, 2020.

St. Joseph’s Institute of Management The JOSEPHITE tradition started in Bangalore with the opening of the St. Joseph's European High School by the Paris Foreign Mission Fathers in 1858. In 1884, St. Joseph's College was established. It has grown steadily and today has more than 8000 students enrolled at the Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer and Management disciplines in its four independent Colleges namely, St. Joseph's College (Arts & Science), St. Joseph's College of Commerce, St. Joseph's Evening College and St. Joseph's College of Business Administration (SJCBA). The Jesuit Fathers, however, came into the picture in 1937 when the Paris Foreign Mission handed over all Joseph's Institutions to them. These Institutions are now under the Management of the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society, SJCBA is the only Jesuit Business School in Bangalore. St. Joseph's College of Business Administration has been conducting One Year Evening Management Courses since 1968.The Courses were a great help to the working executives and the Diploma awarded by the College was well accepted by the Corporates. Eligibility:

·         The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university under regular mode ONLY.

·         The candidate should have a consistent academic record of the first class (minimum 60% marks) in STD X, STD XII & Graduation.

·         The candidates who have cleared all the subjects in their first attempt will be preferred. Candidates with a history of more than two arrears need not apply.

·         Candidates who have appeared for the Final Graduate Level examination and are awaiting results may also apply.
