Master of Surgery (MS) (Ayurvedic) [Streams in: Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, Shalakya Tantra]
Eligibility:
Eligibility and Selection Procedure for Master of Surgery MS Ayurvedic in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, BVDU, Pune
A graduate degree in Ayurved of any university/statutory body approved by CCIM
The applicant should complete his/her rotating internship training before the commencement of counselling and spot admission
The candidate should posses a permanent registration with any State Medical Council in India or Central Council of Indian Medicine
If he does not have the same he will be required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the PG course, failing which his admission to PG course will be cancelled
The candidate should be an Indian National
The candidate must have passed BAMS examination from any Ayurved College Institute recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi for admission
The candidate must have completed the compulsory rotating internship before the commencement of counselling and spot admission
He/she will be required to produce a certificate of completion of internship before joining the course
However, such a candidate will be required to pay the entire amount of annual tuition and other fees at the time of counselling
The failure of the selected candidate to pay the entire amount annual tution fees, development fees and other fees at the time of counselling will result into forfeiture of his claim for admission and the same will be given to the next in the merit list
If a candidate does not fulfill any one or all the above requirements he/she will not be considered eligible for admission irrespective of his appearing and securing a rank in the merit list
Selection Procedure: The selection shall be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained by candidate in AYUPET-2016, written test of 200 marks
AYUPET-2016: AYUPET-2016 will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Pune, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi centers

Admission to MBBS,BDS course the candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology taken together in the qualifying examinations 10+2,HSC or equivalent
The candidate should also have secured at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at CET-2016 for admission to MBBS, BDS course
The candidate belonging to the SC, ST should have obtained at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examinations as well as at CET-2016

Application Procedure
A candidate desirous of appearing in the CET-2016, is required to complete the prescribed application form appended at the end of this brochure and submit the same to the University, on or before the scheduled date
Instructions for Completing the Application Form
i) The application form for admission to CET-2016 is common for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS courses and also for all the colleges mentioned on page number 24; no separate form is prescribed for any particular course or college
ii) The candidates should avoid overwriting, cutting, erasures on the form. Any discrepancies in the statements and, or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection, cancellation of admission. Candidates are not required to Enclose Originals or Photocopies of any Certificate with the Application Form
Completed application form must be accompanied by CET-2016 fee of Rs.2000,-; if submitted in person the fee can be paid by cash or demand draft if mailed the fee should be paid by DD of Rs.2000,- drawn on any Nationalised bank payable at Pune, or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd only in favour of "The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University”, Pune to the following address "Bharati Vidyapeeth University CET Office, CET Department 2nd floor, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Pune-411030"
