About College:

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas.  Different areas of C-DAC, had originated at different times, many of which came out as a result of identification of opportunities. The setting up of C-DAC in 1988 itself was to built Supercomputers in context of denial of import of Supercomputers by USA. Since then C-DAC has been undertaking building of multiple generations of Supercomputer starting from PARAM with 1 GF in 1988. Almost at the same time, C-DAC started building Indian Language Computing Solutions with setting up of GIST group (Graphics and Intelligence based Script Technology); National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) set up in 1985 had also initiated work in Indian Language Computing around the same period.

Eligibility:

·         Graduate in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / B.Tech / 4-year B.Sc. Engg / AMIE / AMIETE / DoEACC B Level, etc.) in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science / IT or related areas; (or) Post Graduate in Engineering Sciences (e.g., MCA / M.Sc. Engg / M.Sc (CS, IT, EE, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc.)

·         Applicants who have appeared/ will be appearing for the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2018 will also be considered for admission to the above courses

·         All parts of their qualifying degree examination shall be completed by the date of joining the course, and

·         Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with at least the required minimum marks shall be submitted at C-DAC by 31st May 2019

How to Apply:

Application Process

·         The process of admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma courses begins with registration of prospective candidates on the C-DAC website. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully while filling the online registration and application forms. Upon registering, candidates will get their Form Number that can be used to log in and fill the C-CAT application form online

Placement

·         100 percent placement assistance provided through C-DAC’s Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP)

·         National level Common Campus Placement Program (CCPP) conducted at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune for all C-DAC students across India. National and multinational ICT companies participate in the campus placements to recruit C-DAC students for R&D, product development, ICT projects & service, etc.

About College:

NITIE Alumni Association (NAA) has been functioning to maintain the alumni relations of NITIE amongst the past students. Maintaining a strong alumni relations program is essential to the growth and development of our institute. With this motive in mind, the Executive Committee of the NAA has approved a proposal to create a Corpus Fund from the Alumni of NITIE. The donations will be accepted for both specific projects and general purposes. General contributions will be credited to the corpus fund. The management of the fund will be looked after by a committee chaired by the director and comprising of two senior faculty members and two representatives of Alumni.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, the candidate has to have a full-time Engineering/Technology degree in any branch from a recognized university with aggregate 60% marks(relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) and a valid CAT score.

Students in the final year of graduation can also apply subject to the following conditions:

·         Provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared till date.

·         Complete their examination, viva voce etc, by the time of joining the Institute.

·         Submit the final year mark-sheet and provisional certificate, latest by September 2018.

Applicants should take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 conducted by the IIMs in order to apply for the programs.

How to Apply:

Application Process

·         The application process is common to both PGDIM/PGDISEM program. Candidate can apply for more than one Program. If applying for more than one program, candidate needs to give his/her preferences and pay the applicable application fees.

·         Application Fee for each program is Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates) for applicants from India and SAARC countries and USD 50 for International students, plus bank charges as applicable. This fee can be paid through payment gateway.

·         The eligible candidates should apply through ONLINE mode only and register themselves on the Admissions Portal.
