About College:

Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) was established by the Government of India on persistent demand of the Footwear Industry to have an 'Apex Organization' as a 'One Stop Solution Provider' for the various problems of the sector. Spurred by the surge in demand for trained human resources to homogenize the country's interests with the rest of the world, the Noida campus of FDDI in Uttar Pradesh was set up in the year 1986. The other campuses are located at Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Chhindwara, Jodhpur & Guna. FDDI has witnessed manifold growth of the Institute with 3200 students and faculty/staff members in our eight campuses across India. All the campuses are spread over sprawling area of 15-20 acres with lush green lawns, fully wi-fi campuses, state-of-the-art labs, world class auditoriums, library, modern lecture theatres, workshops with modern machinery etc.

Course Name:

Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) [Footwear Design and Production, Leather Goods and Accessories Design, Fashion Design]

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility:

Aspirants who have passed or appeared in 10+2/ qualifying examinations in the academic year 2019–20 in any stream from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent.

Candidates yet to appear for their Higher Secondary examination are eligible to apply, but they have to produce proof of having appeared for the examination during the Counseling process of FDDI programmes

Course Name:

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) [Retail & Fashion Merchandise]

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility:

Candidates pass in 10+2 from any recognized board in any stream are eligible to apply.

Age Limit: 25 Years as on 25th June 2019

Course Name:

Master of Design (M.Des.) [Footwear Design & Production, CAD]

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

Bachelor Degree in Footwear/Leather/fashion/Fine arts/Architecture/Engineering.

No Age limit

(i) The candidate shall submit the final result of qualifying degree/certificate providing his/ her eligibility on or before 30th September, 2019 to their Admission Officer, where the admission has been granted.

(ii) A candidate not able to prove his/her eligibility on or before 30th September, 2019, for whatsoever reason, his/her admission will be treated as null and void (cancelled) and entire fee will be forfeited.

Course Name:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) [Retail & Fashion Merchandise]

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

Bachelor Degree in any discipline

Note :- If results of final year of graduation have not been declared by the concerned Board or University at the time of verification of documents, the allotted seat shall be considered on provisional grounds

FOR ADMISSIONS 2019, CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ALL INDIA SELECTION TEST (AIST) 2019.

2) Entries in the application form shall be required to be filled only in English.

Guidelines for applying online may be referred for the purpose. The prospectus is available at FDDI website free of cost. The application fee has to be paid through online payment gateway

The Registration Fee is Rs. 500/- through payment gateway. Candidates have to pay this amount for Bachelor / Master Programme he / she apply for.

Mode of Payment of application fee: Credit Cards/Debit Cards

Payments of application fee (Rs. 500/-) can be made through credit cards/debit cards. The bank and/or transaction charges on the application fee will be borne by the candidate. Candidates are advised to apply on or before 20th April 2019.

Candidates are advised to keep a printout/photocopy of Application Form for further reference along with proof of payment.
