The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct Common Admission Test 2015 (CAT 2015) during a 2-day testing window (4 sessions) on 29th November, 2015. CAT 2015 will be conducted by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs. These programmes are:

List of non-IIM member institutions that have registered to avail the CAT 2015 scores is provided at Website. CAT 2015 Scores are restricted only for admission to IIMs and non-IIM member institutions. IIMs have no role in the selection process of Non-IIM Institutions.

A candidate can appear for CAT 2015 only once during the 2-day testing window (4 sessions).

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also be referred to as Persons With Disability (PWD) categories), awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by a candidate in the bachelor's degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university, institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case a candidate is awarded grades, CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades, CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university, institution from where he, she has obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the university, institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree, equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if he, she submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2016 from the Principal, Registrar of his, her College, Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2016) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor's degree, equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process, the details of which are provided at the website. Applicants should note that the mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for short listing by IIMs.

 

Prospective candidates must maintain a valid and unique email account and a phone number throughout the selection process.

RESERVATIONS:

 

As per Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST candidates. For Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the "non-creamy" layer (NC-OBC) 27% of the seats are reserved.

For an updated central list of state-wise OBCs eligible for availing the benefit of reservation and information in respect of the creamy layer visit the website. In case of NC-OBC category, the castes included in Central List (available at Website) of NC-OBC by the National Commission of Backward Classes, Government of India as on the last day of registration will be used. Any subsequent changes will not be effective for CAT 2015. As per the provision under section 39 of the PWD Act, 1995, 3% of the seats are reserved for Person with Disability (PWD), Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The three categories of disability are: a) low-vision, blindness, b) hearing impairment, and c) locomotor disability, cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if a candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40%, as certified by a medical authority as prescribed and explained in the said Act.

The candidates belonging to categories for which seats are reserved need to note and read the eligibility requirements carefully before applying. It should be noted that while it is the endeavor of IIMs that the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD. (DA), Non-Creamy OBC categories join the programme in proportions mandated by the law, they have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and a certain minimum level of performance in the admission process. The candidates should read carefully the description of admission process followed by each IIM on their respective websites. No change in the category will be entertained after registration; hence, the applicants are advised to pay attention while registering.

HOW TO APPLY:

 

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES:

The registration fee is Rs. 1600/- for General and NC-OBC candidates and Rs. 800/- for SC, ST, PWD (DA) candidates, which is to be paid online at the time of registration. The details will be available on Website.

Please note that a candidate needs to pay registration fee only once irrespective of the number of institutes he, she is applying for. NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD (DA) candidates must upload a copy of their NCOBC, SC, ST, PWD (DA) certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

 

REGISTRATION:

 

The registration window opens on 6th August, 2015 and will close on 20th September, 2015. The details about the registration process will be available on CAT 2015 website.

At the time of registration, a candidate has to select three test cities as per her, his preference from the drop down menu. A candidate will be allotted a test site in one among the three of her, his preferred test cities in any one of the four sessions after the last date of registration. The candidates can download their admit cards from 15th Oct, 2015 till their exam date.

TEST CITIES:

 

There are 99 test cities. The details about the test sites spread across 99 test cities will be available on Website from 16th Oct, 2015 and the name of the test site will be indicated in her, his Admit Card. IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test site and,or change the test window time and dates at their own discretion.

CAT 2015 SCORES:

 

A candidate's CAT 2015 score card will be made available at the website and individual information will not be sent The CAT results will be declared during 2nd week of January 2016. CAT 2015 score will remain valid till December 31, 2016. The CAT 2015 candidates’ scores will be made available till December 31, 2016. Subsequent to that date no queries related to issuance of CAT 2015 score cards will be entertained.

ADMISSION PROCESS:

 

Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for the second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT 2015 examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of the candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic rating cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs. For more information you may refer to the admissions policies of IIM's from their respective websites.

Instances of providing incorrect information and, or process violation by a candidate detected at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the selection process and he, she will not be allowed to appear in CAT in future. 1.     The candidate must be an Indian national

4.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or equivalent foreign medical degree recognized by MCI, is undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2015.

5.     Those candidates who are undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2015 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.

6.     Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MDS

1.     The candidate must be an Indian national

2.     A candidate, who holds BDS degree from a dental college recognized by Dental council of India (DCI) and who has obtained full registration from the dental council of India or any of the state dental councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized dental college.

3.     The candidates who have obtained their BDS degree from the Dental colleges which are not recognized by DCI shall not be eligible.

4.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS recognized by DCI), is undergoing a 12 - month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2015.

5.     Those candidates who are undergoing 12 - month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2015 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.

6.     The cut off date for the registration of the Dental colleges from where the candidates have passed their BDS degree course and completed compulsory rotating internship/practical training for 2015 will be 31st October 2015. The dental colleges recognized after this date will not be considered.

7.     Registration with DCI/state Dental Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MD Ayurveda

1.     The candidate must be an Indian National

2.     A candidate, who holds passed BAMS degree from any Aurvedic college recognized by CCIM and who has registered from the CCIM to practice or any State Board after completing compulsory rotatory internship shall be eligible to appear in entrance examination.

3.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BAMS recognized by CCIM), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 30th June, 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 30th June, 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 30th June, 2015.

4.     Registration with CCIM/Indian Medicine Board is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

5.     The candidate must be an Indian national. Candidates should have a MBBS / BDS degree from any of the recognised Medical / Dental Colleges by the Medical / Dental Council of India. Candidates should have completed one year rotatory internship by 31st March 2015.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites applications from Indian Nationals, in the prescribed format, for lCAR's 20th AIEEA-UG-2015 and AIEEA-PG-2015 on 100% seats at ICAR-Deemed-to-be-Universities (Bachelor degree at NDRI Karnal only while Master degrees at IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE), and on 15% seats for Bachelor degrees and 25% seats for Master degrees at State Agricultural Universities, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Central Universities with Agricultural Faculty (B.H.U., Viswa Bharati, Nagaland University and A.M.U. (for PG only) and the SHIATS Allahabad for the academic session 2015-16 (This examination does not include admission to Bachelor degree programmes in Veterinary Sciences). All India Competitive Examination for the award of Senior Research Fellowship (SRF-PGS) to pursue Ph.D. degree programme in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences will also be conducted along with AIEEA-PG-2015. The procedure for online application has been described in the Information Bulletins. For SRF (PGS), the applications will be submitted ONLINE only. Applications for AIEEA-UG and PG can be submitted both Online and Offline. For submitting applications Online, a provision has been kept to deposit the application fee either through (i) Bank challan of Syndicate Bank or (ii) credit/debit card using Payment Gateway of Syndicate Bank or (iii) NEFT.

Eligibility:

Age:

For AIEEA-UG-2015 (UG Examination):

Between 17 to 23 years for General category candidates as on 31 August 2015 (must have been born between 01.09.1992 to 01.09.1998). The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC (Physically Challenged) categories would be relaxable by 5 years.

For AIEEA-PG-2015 (PG Examination)

Not less than 19 years as on 31.08,2015 (must not have been born after 01.09.1996).

For SRF (PGS)-2015

Between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates as on 12th April, 2015, the date of examination. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PC/OBC (Non-creamy layer as per the Central list of OBC) categories shall be relaxable by 5 years. For in-service candidates, the maximum age limit shall be 45 years in all cases as per the extant norms and guidelines.

Qualifying Examination:

For AIEEA-UG-2015 (Other than Veterinary Sciences):

Must have passed and obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General, UPS (Under Privileged State) and OBC categories or 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PC categories in 10+2 examination or eauivalent/lnter (Agriculture) with PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCA/ PCH subject combinations.

For AIEEA-PG-2015:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Sericulture, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Agri, Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, Basic and allied sciences, etc. under 10+2+5 or 10+2+4 or 10+6 years degree programmes (Few seats are also available for candidates having; Bachelor degree with 10+2+3 year degree programme) with required OGPA of 6.60/10,3.25/5,2.60/4 for General, OBC and UPS categories whereas for SC/ST/PC categories, the said requirement is 5.60/10, 2.75/5, 2.20/4, respectively. In other cases, where grade-points are not awarded, only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC and UPS categories whereas for SC/ST/PC, the requirement is 50% marks. (Equivalence between OGPA and % marks will not be acceptable), the in-service candidates, seeking admission in ICAR Deemed-to-be-Universities, should see their respective website.

For SRF (PGSJ-2015:

The candidates must have passed Master's Degree programme in the concerned discipline securing Overall Grade Point Average of at least 6.50/10.00 scale, 3.25/5.00 scale, 2.60/4.00 scale for General and OBC Categories and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5,00, 2.20/4.00 scale for SC/ST/PC candidates, respectively. In other cases, where grade-points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC Category. For SC/ST/PC candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will be 50%. The equivalence of OGPA to percent marks, where needed, will be certified by the Registrar of the concerned university and must be produced by the candidates. Candidates in the final semester would also be eligible provided they complete the Postgraduate degree in all respects by the date of examination and produce the degree completion certificate from the Registrar to this effect. The candidates who have already joined PhD should not have completed two years as on the date of examination. The above condition will also apply to in-service candidates.

AIEEA-UG-2015: Rs. 500/- for General, OBC and UPS categories and Rs. 250/- for SC, ST and PC categories.

AIEEA-PG-2015: Rs. 600/- for General, OBC and UPS categories and Rs. 300/- for SC, ST and PC categories.

SRF (PGS)-2015: The Information Bulletin along with Application Form and other details will be available only on ICAR website and a fee of Rs.  1200/-for General/OBC and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST and PC categories shall have to be deposited while submitting the application Online.

In addition, Rs. 25/- per Bulletin would be charged in case of UG and PG as handling charges plus service tax, as applicable, in case of purchase against cash (from the Registrars of Agricultural Universities/ specified branches of Syndicate Bank at specified places as given on ICAR website). The forms can also be obtained from eight specified ICAR Institutions by depositing DD.

The last date for the receipt of Applications in the office of "Controller of Examinations (Education), Room No. 216, ICAR, Krlshl Anusandhan Bhavan-ll, Pusa, New Delhil 10012” for UG, PG and SRF (PGS) examinations is 23rd Feb., 2015. However, for UG and PG candidates belonging to certain remote areas like NE Region, J&K, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of H. R, A&N Island and Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of applications, both through offline and online mode (hard copy of the computer generated confirmation pages of application) will be 27th February, 2015. The last date to receive the hard copy of the computer generated confirmation pages of application form from SRF (PGS) candidates will also be 27th Feb., 2015. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected and Education Division, (CAR will not be responsible for non-receipt of application within the time schedule due to postal delay or any other reasons. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to check his/her eligibility for admission before applying. National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai, have jointly announced the schedule of National Entrance Screening Test - 2015 (NEST-2015) for the Academic Session 2015-16 NEST - 2015 will be conducted on 30th May 2015 (Saturday) from 09.30 a.m. - 01.00 p.m at 52 centers across the country.

The National Entrance Screening Test or NEST is a compulsory test for admission to the 5-year Integrated M.Sc program in basic sciences - Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics - at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Dept. of Atomic Energy Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai; both NISER & CBS are autonomous institutions estd by Dept. of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India, in 2007

These institutes have started with the mandate to provide high quality teaching in basic sciences by a faculty of distinguished scientists embedded in a vibrant research environment and to create a national pool of scientists ready to take up research challenges in the frontiers of basic and applied sciences

The Integrated M.Sc program at these institutes follows a semester-based course structure and continuous assessment within a flexible and innovative academic curriculum, exposing the students to research early in their program

All the candidates admitted to 5-year Integrated MSc programme at NISER and CBS are eligible for INSPIRE, Govt. of India, scholarship of 5000/- p.m. & 20000/- per year for carrying out summer projects The details of the Integrated MSc programme, courses, research activities, facilities and faculty profile at NISER and CBS can be found on their respective websites.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates seeking admission to NISER and UM-DAE CBS for the academic session 2015-16 should be from science stream (having any combination of Biology/ Chemistry /Mathematics /Physics) at class XII and must write the NEST 2015 examination.

Candidates who have passed class XII examination or equivalent from any recognised Board in India in 2013 or 2014 or are appearing in 2015 can appear in NEST 2015 examination

Admission will be offered strictly on the basis of Merit List of NEST 2015

Candidates securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in class XII examination will be eligible for admission to NISER and CBS; however, there is no restriction on appearing for NEST

For candidates belonging to scheduled castes SC/ST/PD categories, the minimum requirement of marks is 55% in aggregate

Where only letter grades are available, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage of marks is required. In the absence of such a certificate, the decision of the Admissions Committee of the concerned Institution will be final

Age limit

General and OBC category candidates born on or after 15th July 1995 are eligible for admission to the integrated M.Sc programme of NISER/CBS; the age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/PD candidates However, there is no restriction on appearing for NEST 2015

Necessary certificates supporting eligibility criteria have to be furnished at the time of admission. Please also note that the offer of admission is subject to verification of all original certificates at the time of counseling

The application fee for the male candidates of General/OBC category is Rs. 700/-; the application fee for SC/ST/PD categories and all female candidates is Rs. 350/-; for offline applications the fee should be paid by Demand Draft only

For online applications, it can be paid by using credit card/debit card/net-banking through ‘State Bank Collect’ online payment portal or by DD

Mode of Payment

Demand Draft: DD for required amount may be prepared from any bank and should be drawn in favour of NISER-NEST and payable at Bhubaneswar; it is advisable that candidate write her/his name (all candidates) and application number (only online candidates) at the back of the DD before dispatching

The DD has to be sent preferably by speed post at the address given below and must reach NEST office

For online candidates, the DD should reach NEST office on or before 07th March 2015; for off-line applications, the demand draft and the request for application form should be sent in a single envelope

State Bank Collect online payment facility (SB-Collect): State Bank Collect (SBC) is a multimodal payment portal where payments can be made using credit/debit cards and internet banking facility

This payment method is available only for online applicants

Online candidates who opt for online payment need not send any document to NEST office (paperless application)

Admit Card

The admit card for NEST 2015 will be available for downloading / dispatch from 07th April 2015

Admit cards will not be dispatched for online applicants; such applicants must download their admit cards from NEST website (after login)

Admit cards will be sent by post to the mailing address of the offline candidates; it is, therefore, important that the postal address with pin code in offline paper application form be clearly and correctly written

Please note that NEST office will not be responsible if admit card fails to reach the candidate in time because of postal delay or incorrect mailing address

In case the admit card is not received by 01st May 2015, the NEST office at the address given below must be notified

It may be possible to re-send the admit card but only electronically if email address of the candidate is provided. Safe-keeping of the admit card is strongly advised because the successful candidates have to produce the admit card in original during the counselling and admission

SAAT - 2015, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University Admission Test - 2015

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT-2015), a national level entrance test is conducted by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Universityevery year to select bright students from different parts of our country. The test is being conducted for different programs offered in different constituent institutes / schools of the university. SAAT-2015, the seventh edition of this entrance test, will be held on 09th May 2015 (Saturday) at 65 centers across 46 cities of India. The test is primarily a multiple choice type written test and the standard of the test is comparable with any other national level entrance test. Short listed candidates will be called to attend an open counselling for admission into various programmes of the university. Another feature of this entrance test is that the candidates with diploma in engineering/ technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT-2015.

Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor Degree Programmes:

a) BTech / Dual Degree in Engineering / Dual Degree in Management: Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 50% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned.
OR
Pass in Diploma in Engineering / Technology with less than 60% marks in aggregate.
b) MBBS / BDS: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes and Other backward Classes the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. For PH candidates qualifying examination marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For SC / ST / OBC candidates the limit is minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For PH candidates the limit is minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. All candidates must pass in English.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2015. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of  5 (five) years for the candidates of SC and ST.
c) 
BPharm: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Information Technology or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 45% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned (40% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category) OR Pass in Diploma programme in Pharmacy with less than 60% marks.

d) BHMCT: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2015) in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% incase of SC / ST / OBC category)
e) BSc in Nursing (Basic): Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2015) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC / ST / OBC candidates only. 
Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2015.

f) BSc in Nursing (Post Basic): Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council. Candidate must be a member of TNAI.
g) Five years integrated BBA LLB Honours Programme: Pass or appearing (2015) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ST. Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st August 2015.

For Master Degree Programmes:

a) MTech: Pass or appearing in BE / BTech / AMIE / MCA / MSc in the respective discipline or equivalent. For MTech in Biotechnology, candidates having BTech / BE in Biotechnology or related fields / MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / BPharm / BVSc with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. Candidates having MCA and MSc (Maths) degree are eligible for MTech in Comp Sc & Data Processing. Candidates with MSc (Electronics) are eligible for MTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and MTech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. MSc in Computer Science and IT are eligible for MTech in Computer Science & Engineering and CS&IT respectively. A candidate with BTech (Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Metallurgy) or MSc (Environmental Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology) is eligible for MTech in Environmental Science & Technology. For MTech Material Science & Technology candidate must have MSc (Physics) / MSc (Chemistry) / BTech (Electronics & Communication Engg) / BTech (Electrical Engg) For admission to MTech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MTech programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or valid GATE score and personal interview taken together. After the interview, the merit list prepared by the Board members will be final.
b) MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with at least 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level. Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.
c) MBA / MHMCT/ MHA / MHTM: Pass or appearing (2015) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts / BE / BTech / MBBS / BPharm / BSc Agri /  BVSC / BHMS /BAMS / BDS / BPT / BHMCT / BBA / BCA examination or equivalent in 2015 from any recognised University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category). For MHMCT the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category) in BHMCT. Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2015. They are required only to submit the filled up application form. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD/PI), all taken together.
d) MPharm: Pass or appearing (2015) at BPharm examination from any recognized University with at least 50% marks. The candidates having valid GPAT score can apply. GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MPharm programme will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2015 or valid GPAT and personal interview taken together and a final merit list will be prepared. e) MSc in Biotechnology Pass or appearing (2015) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) from any recongnised University with at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category).

f) MSc in Nursing: Passed BSc Nursing (Basic/Post Basic)Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area but they should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
g) LLM: Pass or appearing (2015) Bachelor Degree in Law or studied Integrated Law Course or equivalent thereof, from any recognized University, securing 50% Marks in aggregate.
For Lateral Entry Programmes:

a) Admission to 2nd year Degree Programme in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma holders: Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at three year diploma course in Engineering / Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent. For Pharmacy, pass or appearing (in the year 2015) at two year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP) or SCTE&VT, Odisha, or equivalent.

b) Lateral Entry MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2015) in three year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), BSc in Information Technology and BSc in Computer Science with at least 60% of marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
c) Choice of Discipline: Candidates having Diploma in Engineering indicated under Column – I are eligible for admission into the corresponding discipline only mentioned under Column – II (Appendix - XVIII). Candidates will appear a common paper in the entrance test and the branch allotment will be done during the counselling as per Appendix-XVIII.

NOTE: Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination (in the year 2015) may also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination with pass mark in individual appropriate subjects as mentioned for different programmes on the day of counselling, failing which the rank / position secured in the entrance examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admission as per the rank. The above mentioned clause is also applicable for pass out candidates. e.g.: For BTech the candidate has to secure pass mark in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject.

Instructions for SAAT-2015 Online Application Form

1.   Check that the online application form has been properly and completely filled up (For details regarding filling up the application form refer the SAAT 2015 information brochure).
2.   Application process: Incomplete application will not be accepted. Please follow the below mentioned process below to complete your application process.
Step1. Fill up the application form & Proceed to payment

Step2. Select the payment method - Demand Draft / Online payment (Debit / Credit Card of any bank is accepted)

Step3. The Demand Draft payment method selection will complete the application process. If you select online payment it will redirect to the Merchant gateway. You need to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs 500 /- . The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to our University website for confirmation of the Application process is complete. Do not close/ refresh / hit back button at the merchant gateway till the payment process is complete. (The system will record the whole application process. Do not close the window until you have completed step 1 to 3 or else the application process will be invalid.)

Step4. Download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form. The link to download the application form will be send to your mail.

Step5. Fill up the Demand Draft details as specified in the application form. (Demand Draft of 500 /- in favor of “Siksha O AnusandhanUniversity”, Payable at Bhubaneswar).

Step6. Please retain a photocopy of filled up application form and the bank draft with you for future reference. On the back side of the Demand draft write your Application Number, Name & Course code.

NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI

South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by the governments of the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. The university, established with an aim to evolve a South Asian consciousness, now offers Master and M.Phil./Ph.D. level programmes in Development Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Applied Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Law. SAU attracts students from all member nations and its degrees are recognized by all the eight SAARC countries.

Eligibility criteria for admission to Master level programmes:

·         For admission to the Master level programmes in SAU, a minimum of 15 years of education under 10+2+3 (i.e., 12 years schooling and 3 years Bachelor’s degree) pattern is essential. Applicants who have completed 4 years of Bachelor’s degree after 10+2 (12 years of schooling) are also eligible, though the Master-level programme will be of two years duration for them. Applicants who have obtained Bachelor’s degree in less than 15 years (e.g., under 10+2+2 pattern) will not be eligible for admission to SAU’s Master level programmes. However, students who have completed two years Bachelor degree and thereafter have also completed one year of M.A./M.Sc., can apply for admission to a Master level course at SAU subject to their fulfilling other prescribed eligibility conditions including percentage of marks which will be average of marks obtained in Bachelor degree and 1st year of M.A./M.Sc. course.

·         For admission to the LL.M. Programme  in SAU, a minimum of 17 years of education (12 years of schooling + 5 years Integrated B.A./LL.B. degree with prescribed percentage of 50% marks) is the minimum prescribed eligibility. Candidates who have completed 12 years of schooling + 3 year Bachelor’s degree + 3 years LL.B. degree or 12 years' schooling and 4 years’ LL.B. degree with prescribed percentage of 50% marks are also eligible.

·         For admission to M.A. (Development Economics), M.A. (Sociology) and M.A. (International Relations) programmes of study, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Bachelor’s degree is 50%. For LL.M., the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in LL.B. degree is 50%.

·         For M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics), M.Sc. (Biotechnology) and M.Sc. (Computer Science) programmes of study, the minimum eligibility percentage in Bachelors degree is 55%.

·         Applicants who have not yet completed the Bachelor’s degree, but   are yet to appear for their last year / semester exam , may also apply for admission to Master degree programmes and appear in the entrance examination provisionally. If qualified in the admission test, their admission will be confirmed only if they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of aggregate percentage of marks in Bachelor’s degree. Please note such candidates are given a provisional chance in anticipation of their qualifying degree examination with prescribed percentage of marks/grades and they will not have any claim to admission.

·         No candidate shall be eligible for admission to a Master’s programme unless he/she has attained the age of 20 years for admission to the programme as on 1st October 2015. Provided that the age limit may be relaxed by the President on the recommendations of the Admission Committee on the merit of each case.

·         All students who are offered admission will be required to produce original copies of their final results including mark sheet/grade sheet of their qualifying degree examination at the time of admission. Master level students in all programs of SAU shall be full-time students and shall not be permitted to take full or part-time jobs.

·         For admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. level Programmes  in SAU, a minimum 17 years of education (12 years of schooling + 3 year Bachelor’s degree + 2 year Master’s degree with prescribed percentage of marks as indicated below) is the minimum prescribed eligibility.

·         For M.Phil./Ph.D. (Legal Studies) those who have done LL.B. followed by a one-year LL.M. degree with the prescribed 50% marks are also eligible.

·         For admission to M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes in Economics, Sociology, International Relations, and Legal Studies, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Master’s degree is 50%; and for M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes in Applied Mathematics, Biotechnology and Computer Science, the minimum prescribed eligibility percentage in Master’s degree is 55%.

An Entrance Test will be conducted simultaneously throughout the SAARC Region on April 5, 2015. Application fee for appearing in the entrance test is US $10 or Indian Rupees 600/-. Applicants, who can pay the application fee by credit/debit cards or Net Banking have the option to apply online. Hostels and Medical Facilities

Hostel Facilities: Hostel accommodation (on sharing basis) is provided only to those students who come from outside National Capital Region (NCR). Hostel accommodation is NOT provided for spouse/children or other family members of the admitted students. All students staying in hostel will have to strictly adhere to hostel rules. Hostel Fee will be US $ 60 per academic semester for students from SAARC region. Staying in hostel will not be allowed after the completion of the course.

Mess charges will be extra and are likely to range between US$ 50 to 75 per month.

Medical Facilities: All admitted students are covered under Medical Group Insurance Scheme up to INR 1,50,000 for which full premiums are paid by the University. In addition, the University has its own Health Centre where limited OPD facilities are provided to all students. Expenses incurred by students on purchase of medicines (prescribed by the University doctors) are reimbursed to them as per SAU rules.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) provides the students the ease of filling up a single application form to get admission to any of the 16 participating law institutes' under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). According to the MoU, the Common Law Admission Test would be conducted by each of the National Law Schools on rotation as per the criterion of seniority.

Application Fee

The candidates has to pay the application fee for general OBC/PWD and other category candidates Rs. 4000/- while submitting the Application Form of CLAT-2015 The fee is Rs. 3500/- in case of the SC/ST category candidates

The candidates will have to bear the bank transaction costs for remitting the fee online while submitting the application form

The above application fee includes cost of online application form and e-brochure Previous year e-Question Papers of CLAT shall be available on the payment of Rs. 250/- only; for this the mode of payment is Online only.

There is only one mode of application i.e. online which can be accessed by a candidate after registering himself/herself on the CLAT website by creating a login account

The Online Application Form can be submitted only between 01st January 2015 to 31st March 2015 (11.59 PM)

The submitted Online Application Form in PDF format and other details will be available and accessible in the Login Account of the candidate; no copies of the filled in Online Application Form or uploaded certificates/documents need to be sent to the CLAT Office separately

The Hall-Ticket/Admit Card may be accessed / downloaded by the candidate in the personal LOGIN ACCOUNT; the candidate is required to take the printout of the Admit Card to the Exam Hall

Incomplete application or application in any mode other than online or application after the last date and time shall not be considered.
