About College:

The Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, in its endeavour to provide technical manpower suited to varied needs of industry, imparts technical education and technological skills and to provide a upward mobility to the ITI/ITC certificate holders/10+2 vocational stream of CBSE or equivalent pass outs who are already employed or self employed through various courses of study of different levels. Part-Time Diploma courses in Engineering are offered at different AICTE approved Government Polytechnics affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Delhi. The Department of Training and Technical Education plans to admit students to first semester/first year for the academic session 2019-20 for various Part-time Diploma programmes (four years duration) being offered at Pusa Institute of Technology, G B Pant Institute of Technology and Aryabhat Institute of Technology , on merit basis.

Course Name:

Diploma Courses in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Part time) [Aryabhat Institute of Technology, G.B Pant Institute of Technology and Pusa Institute of Technology, affiliated to Board of Technical Education]

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility:

(a) Passed in 10th class of 10+2 System or Matric or any other examination (with or without grace marks) recognized as equivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE/ other equivalent Board at the time of admission. The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in these three subjects (with or without grace marks). AND

(b) Passed NCVT/SCVT (with or without grace marks) from Regular/Private/Part Time & formal trade through ITIs/ITCs Apprenticeship Certificate Exam of analogous* Diploma course. Duration of qualifying courses is minimum one year in ITI/ITC( Apprenticeship) OR Passed 12th class examination (with or without grace marks) of analogous* 10+2 Vocational Stream of CBSE or equivalent. OR Passed ITI/ITC/10+2 Vocational as Private candidate having maximum marks of 250 and 550 etc. OR Passed 2 years Industrial Worker Scheme (Engineering) from ITI with minimum 3 theory subjects from SCVT/NCVT. Candidates seeking admission in evening part time courses, must have been employed/self-employed on full time basis. In case of self-employed, relevant documentary proof / affidavit is to be attached as on the day of submitting the online Admission.

How to Apply:

Candidates seeking admission to the Part Time Evening Diploma courses have to apply online through the website https://cetdelhi.nic.in starting with effect from 08^th July 2019 (Monday) to 29th July 2019 (Monday) till 4 PM. Non-Refundable application fees of Rs. 950 (Rupees Nine Hundred Fifty only) plus Bank Charges and Service tax has to be deposited by the candidate through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Debit Card+ ATM Card or Net Banking. Before submitting the Online Application forms and fees, candidate must refer the information bulletin available on website and check eligibility criteria for admission to Part Time Evening Diploma Courses.
