Eligibility Criteria for SVUCET 2017:

For M.Tech in Space Technology Program: Candidates should have M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech) in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Space Physics/ Electronics /Meteorology and Oceanography Engineering Physics or B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.

For M.Ed Program: Candidates should have B.Ed program.

For M.Com Programs: Candidates should have B.Com General/Computer Applications or BBM/ B.A with Accounting as a one of the subjects.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for SVUCET 2017:

Candidates are encouraged to apply online.

The candidate can apply more than one test in single registration. Such candidates have to pay the applicable fee depend upon the tests selected.

The payment of registration and processing fee Rs.300/- (SC/ST/PH) and fee Rs. 400/- (OC/BC/Others) should be made either by SBI generated challan or by online payment gateway (like credit/ debit card/ Net banking).

Paper Pattern for SVUCET 2017:

The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration and the question paper consists of 100 multiple choice type questions.

Eligibility Criteria 

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows: 

First Year of B. Tech, B. Pharm: Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board ,University without grace in required each compulsory subjects; and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC,ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects 

First Year of BHMCT, BFAD, BFA: Candidate must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U.P Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board,University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC,ST category candidates) in aggregate 

For Year of B.Arch: A candidate must have clearly passed intermediate exam of U.P. Board or 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognized Board, University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory 

Candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central, State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B.Arch only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma Exam securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace

First Year MAM (Dual degree): Candidate must have passed Intermediate (10+2) exam of Uttar Pradesh Board or its equivalent from any recognized Board, University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% for SC,ST category) in aggregate 

Second B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Candidate must have passed three years Diploma in Engineering course, securing minimum 45% marks for General & OBC and (40% marks for SC, ST category) in aggregate or three years B.Sc. degree plus having passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as one subject, securing minimum aggregate marks of 45% for General & OBC and 40% for SC, ST category in B.Sc 

Second Year B.Pharm (Lateral Entry): Candidate must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy, securing minimum aggregate marks of 45% for General & OBC and 40% for SC,ST category) 

Second Year MCA (Lateral Entry): Candidate must have passed BCA, B.Sc (IT,CS) of minimum three years from any recognized Indian University or its Equivalent recognized by AIU, with minimum 50% (45% for SC,ST) marks in aggregate plus having mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or Graduation level 

Important Note 

Number of admissions in all courses offered at Institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow, will be only through UPSEE-2017 

a) State Govt. has permitted 15% of total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions to be filled by the NRI candidates under Managemenet quota 

b) State Govt. has permitted 10% of the total sanctioned seats available in Technology, Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through combined merit of UP Domicile and Non UP Domicile candidates without reservation subject to eligibility 

c) Thus, 10% of the total sanctioned seats in Technology, Architecture courses in Private Institutions, affiliated to AKTU, shall also be opened to the candidates; these seats shall be filled on the basis of UPSEE-2017 Merit 

d) State Govt. has also permitted 20% of the total sanctioned seats of MBA in Private Institutions to be filled on the basis of latest CMAT-2017 merit 

e) Thus, 65% seats available in MBA & 85% seats in the first year of remaining courses at all Private Institutions will be filled by the UPSEE-2017 qualified

Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the online application. The ITSAT Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

·         Alternatively, applicants can fill their details online, download the application form and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs. 700 towards the cost.

·         The DD should be drawn in favor of “IFHE - Prospectus Fee A/c ITSAT 2017” payable at Hyderabad.

Paper Pattern for ITSAT 2017:

Online Test:

·         It is in Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration and is conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all over India.

Offline Test:

·         It is in Paper Based Test (PBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration.

·         The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet which will be provided at the time of the admission test.

·         Both online & offline tests constitute objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple choice format. There will be 30 questions in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

How to Apply:

1. Download and fill in the MBA Application Form 2017-19

2. Attach the Demand Draft of Rs. 1,100/- (Rs. 800/- for S.C./S.T./PWD) drawn in favour of REGISTRAR, NALSAR M.B.A. A/c payable at Hyderabad.

3. Attach one page Statement of Purpose (S.O.P.) including personal career goals not exceeding 500 words as to why you want to join this course. The S.O.P has to be TYPED (Font – Times New Roman, Size – 12 and 1.5 line spacing) and the name of the candidate should be mentioned along with their signature.

4. Attach Self-Attested copy of the marks statement of 10th Standard.

Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) invites applications for admissions to Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D Programme in Astronomical Instrumentation in collaboration with department of allied optics and photonics, university of Calcutta.

IIA conducts the following two graduate programmes leading to Ph.D. degrees:

·         Ph.D., jointly with Pondicherry Central University, and

·         Integrated M.Tech. - Ph.D., jointly with University of Calcutta.

Duration:

The normal duration of the Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D programme will be 6 years, including 2 years for the master degree.

Eligibility:

·         Students who expect to complete any of M.Sc. (Physics), Integrated M.Sc. (Physics), B.E., B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech. degrees by August 2015 with 55% marks or more. All applicants are required to fill out the application form.

·         Unless you have already scored 96 percentile in JEST (Physics), GATE (Physics), or have a UGC-CSIR-NET Junior Research Fellowship, you are required to appear for the IIA screening test (IIAST), at an exam center of your choice.

How to Apply

There are TWO steps in the application procedure – registration and login. First register by entering your name and valid e-mail address in the appropriate registration boxes from link. A welcome message with further instructions will be sent to e-mail address. You can then login and fill out the application form.

Candidates will be asked to bring originals of the relevant documents for verification during the interview. Any false data provided on the form will automatically disqualify the candidate.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced the exam dates for the TISS Bachelor's Admission Test (TISS-BAT 2017), which will be conducted in April 2017. The TISS-BAT will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017. TISS-BAT is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Arts (B.A) hons. program and five year Integrated B.A-M.A program in Social Sciences offered in TISS campuses at Guwahati, Hyderabad and Tuljapur for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for TISS-BAT 2017:

·         Students should have passed 12th Class or Intermediate in any subject stream from a recognised board.

·         Students who have studied International Baccalaureate Diploma and will be completing 12th class with clear Results declared by June 2017 are eligible to apply.

·         Candidates who have appeared for their 12th class or Intermediate final exams and are awaiting Results are also eligible to apply.

Application Procedure for TISS-BAT 2017:

·         Candidates can apply online.

·         Application fees is Rs. 1025/- (Rs 275 for SC/ ST with income less than 2.5lakhs and OBC-NC candidates with income less than 1 lakh) can be paid online through credit card/debit card/online transaction.

·         Payment can also be done through cash, a payment challan has to be downloaded and Deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of State Bank of India. 

Paper Pattern for TISS-BAT 2017:

·         The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration and the total marks will be 100.

Part-A: will be a 60 minute test with multiple choice questions on current affairs, social awareness and logical and analytical reasoning, carrying 60 marks.

Part-B: will be a written test with a set of descriptive questions in English. Candidate is expected to write two short answers in 30 minutes carrying 40 marks. It is compulsory for the candidates to attempt both the parts and qualify in both the modes.

·         Both part A & part B will have separate cut off marks for evaluation.

The TISS NET computer based exam will be held on Saturday, January 07, 2017. TISS NET is conducted for taking admission to full-time (regular) post-graduate degree Master of Arts (M.A) program offered at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad campuses, other locations and Master of Science (M.Sc) at Tuljapur campus for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for TISS NET 2017:

·         Candidates having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university are eligible to apply.

·         Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year bachelor's degree examinations by Saturday, June 11, 2017 are eligible to apply.

·         The objective test will have questions related to General Knowledge; Analytical Ability, Logical Reasoning; and English Proficiency.

·         TISS NET 2017 will not have negative marking for any program including HRM. candidates who have applied for a single program or multiple programs will be attempting a single question paper with 100 questions for a duration of 100 minutes, this includes candidates who have chosen HRM in combination with other program/ programs.
