Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2016) December exam dates have been announced by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi. The MAT December paper based test will be held on Sunday, December 04, 2016 and computer based test will be conducted from Saturday, December 10, 2016 onwards. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. 

Eligibility Criteria for MAT December 2016:

Candidates should be graduates in any discipline.

Final year students of graduate courses can also apply.

The online MAT test is designed to measure a person’s general aptitudes as the following table indicates:

MAT December 2016 Application Form

The application form for MAT 2016 December attempt has been released on October 5, 2016. The form can be obtained in both, online and offline mode. The candidates can access the link given here in this article to register online for the test.

The candidates registering online are required to create their student account by entering certain details, such as, Name, email ID, mobile number etc. and procuring the login credentials.

With the respective login credentials then, the students should login to the student account and fill the MAT December Application Form 2016. 

The last date to apply online for Management Aptitude Test 2016 for December is November 26, 2016. For online mode, the candidates can pay the fee via the available payment windows.

The MAT application form can be purchased from listed study centre of AIMA or AIMA, Delhi office by paying the registration fee in cash. The last date to submit the receipt of submitted form is November 29, 2016

MAT December 2016 Admit Card

AIMA will be releasing the admit card for MAT December attempt on or after December 03, 2016. Specific admit cards will be released for online and offline mode of the test. Only the duly registered candidates will be able to issues the MAT admit card. A link to access and download the admit card will be  provided here in this article with its release. All the candidates must note that the admit card is an important document and they will be required to produce it before the test centre faculties for seeking permission to enter the exam hall and take the test. No candidate will be allowed to write the exam if he/she will fail to furnish the admit card on the test day.

Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune has announced the exam dates for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2016), which will be conducted in December 2016. The SNAP will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016. SNAP is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) program of SIU institutes for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility:

·         Graduate from any recognized, Statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST)

·         Programmes, which require specific discipline, subject specialisation, need to be checked for eligibility as given by the respective Institute

·         A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

·         All foreign degrees, qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU

SNAP 2016 - Paper Pattern for the Test

The SNAP exam 2016 will comprise in four sections like General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Ability), Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, (General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario) and Analytical & Logical Reasoning

The maximum marks will be 180 that will be distributed as 40+40+40+60 pattern subsequently and the total number of questions will be 150 in the exam

The duration of the test is 2 hours and all questions will be of multiple type questions. Each wrong answer will be punished with 25% negative marks. The candidates will be suggested to use blue or black ball pen only

Selection Process for SNAP 2016:

On the basis of their overall percentage of SNAP, a cutoff list (category-wise) will be prepared and uploaded on the official website of respective institutes. According to these cut off lists, students will be shortlisted for the GE-PI WAT

SNAP Test is conducted in 30 cities all over India. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced the exam dates for NMAT by GMAC 2016, which will be conducted in October/December 2016. The NMAT by GMAC exam will be held from Friday, October 07, 2016 to Tuesday, December 20, 2016. NMAT by GMAC is conducted for taking admission to leading management programs in India for the academic session 2016.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1600 plus applicable taxes as applicable based on the program choices. If a candidate wishes to apply to more than seven programs a fee of Rs. 200 plus applicable taxes will be charged for each additional program.

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has announced the exam dates for online AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA-2016), which will be conducted in June 2016. The ATMA online exam will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2016. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs offered at various institutes, universities for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for ATMA June 2016:

The minimum qualification required to attend the ATMA is graduation from any recognized institute.

There is no restriction for minimum marks or any particular stream of study.

The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years.

Application Procedure for ATMA June 2016:

Candidates can apply online.

The dates of payment, registration will be announced on the website after completion of the ATMA February test.

There are four options available to the candidate for making payment:

Through debit, credit card (Payment Gateway)

Through net Banking

Bank Transfer

By Cash through FCC, Distributor

Paper Pattern for ATMA June 2016:

ATMA contains six sections namely: Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Verbal Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills and Quantitative Skills.

Each objective type question will have four answers. The candidate will have to click the answer which he, she thinks correct.

Each correct answer receives one mark and there will be no marks for the question left unanswered. For each incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark will be deducted from the marks obtained.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2016

Anna University, Chennai, on behalf of the government of Tamil Nadu has announced the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2016 and is inviting applications for the same.

TANCET is conducted for candidates seeking admission to the following degree Programs of 2016-16 offered at university departments, university colleges of Engineering, Regional centres of Anna University, Government and Government aided Engineering Colleges, Arts and Science Colleges, Self Financing colleges (including stand alone colleges) in Tamil Nadu.

·         ME, M.Tech, M.Plan, M.Arch

·         MBA

·         MCA

Some Universities and self financing Engineering colleges also choose to admit students on the basis of their TANCET 2016 scores.

Students from other states can also take TANCET 2016, but the eligibility conditions will be decided by the admitting authority, University.

Eligibility:

TANCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria for MBA

You need to have passed a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and scored at least 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree examination.

(a)   10+2+3 years pattern

(b)   10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern 
 or

(c)    B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Pharm. 
 or

(d)   (i) 10+2+AMIE* 
or

TANCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria for MCA

You need to have successfully passed a recognized at least a 3 year Bachelor’s degree with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level and scored at least 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree examinations. 
(a)   10+2+3,4 years Pattern 

or

(b)   10+3 years diploma + 3 years Pattern 

(c)    (i) 10+2+AMIE* 
or 
(ii) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE* 

MCA Lateral Entry

Toget into an MCA program through lateral entry, you need to have passed a recognized 3 year (minimum) Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science, Information Technology) with mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at graduate level and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examinations.

a. You must pass a recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field and score at least 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree examination. 

i.        B.E, B.Tech., .Arch. degree programme. 
or

ii.      B.Pharm., B.Sc (Agri., Forestry, Horticulture, Fishery) degree programme. 
 or

iii.    Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science, Arts, which are prescribed. 
 or

iv.   M.Sc. (5 years) Integrated Degree Programme. 
or

v.     B.Sc. 3 years (Computer Science, Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 years (Computer Science, Information Technology 

vi.   MCA (3 years) after 10+2+3 years bachelor’s degree. 

vii. MCA Lateral Entry (2 years) after 10+2+3 years degree in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science, Information Technology) 

b. (i) 10+2+AMIE

(ii) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board

How to Apply:

·         Candidates have to submit only one application form as the form is common for all 3 entrance test.

·         Candidates have to pay an entrance test fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC, SCA, ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of permanent community certificate in card format) for either one (M.B.A. or M.C.A. or M.Tech,  M.Arch, M.Plan, M.E) of the programs.

·         Candidates who want to appear for more than one program have to pay Rs.500 (Rs. 250 for SC, SCA, ST candidate belonging to Tamil Nadu) for each additional program that they want to appear for.

Registration process

1. Registration in person: Hall tickets will be issued to the candidates at the co-ordinating centers who come in with their 10th and 12th std. mark sheets (or 3yr diploma certificate) and cash or demand draft for the entrance test fee. 
2. Registration through internet can be done by logging on to website. The filled-in downloaded application form should be sent along with the demand draft and photocopies of certificate to 'The Secretary, TANCET, Centre for entrance examination, Anna University, Chennai-600025

3. The demand draft should be drawn in favor of 'The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai payable at Chennai obtained from any nationalized bank.
