Certificate Course in Yoga for Wellness Instructor (CCYWI)

Duration: 6 months

Eligibility:

i) A pass in 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent.

ii) Foundation Course in Yoga Science for Wellness (50 hrs.) from MDNIY

OR

Equivalent from any Central/State University, Yoga Institutions recognized or accredited by Yoga

Certification Board

OR

Yoga professionals having a minimum of 5 years experience in active teaching and training in

Yoga with valid documentations.

iii) The candidates must be medically fit. No person with chronic ailments is allowed to take

admission.

Intake Capacity: Total number of seats maximum 100 (50 Gen., 27 OBC, 15 SC & 8 ST). 15% seats

over and above the total seats shall be for foreign candidates.

Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Entrance Test to be held on 16.2.2019.

Entrance Test will consist of 50 objective Questions based on the syllabus of Foundation Course in Yoga

Science of Wellness being conducted by MDNIY. The timings of entrance test will be 11.00 am to 12.00

Noon; and clearing of the medical test.

Medium of Instructions: Hindi/English

Timings of the classes: 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm (Monday to Friday – Except Public holidays) 7.00 am to 11.00 am (Saturdays)

Note: The above timings may be modified according to administrative and participants convenience.

A.    The Application Form and Prospectus can be obtained from the office of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) on payment of Rs.250/- on any working day from 11.02.2019.

B.    The application form may also be downloaded from the Institute’s website that case the applicant shall deposit Rs.250/- at the time of submission of application.

About College:

The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. He gave the name "Hamdard" to his venture which means "sympathy for all and sharing of pain". 1. At Institute Counter

Candidate can obtain the ISB&M Prospectus along with the Application Form by paying Rs.1000 at the institute counter.

2. Online Registration

Candidates can open institute website and click on "Apply Online" to fill up the Application form. For payment.

One can use Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking. Once the payment is done, you will receive a confirmation of successful registration.

One can make a Demand Draft of Rs.1100 in favour of "International School of Business & Media" payable at Pune and send it to ISB&M Admissions Office, Pune.

A Student can apply in any of the following three ways:

Visit ISB&M admission office & apply: A student can purchase ISB&M Prospectus from any ISB&M Campus admission office by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash, complete the form and submit to the admission office, along with the photocopy of all the documents. (10th, 12th, graduation mark sheets and entrance test score card & 2 passport size pictures). Completed application form can be submitted in person or by courier / speed post.

Download PDF Form: A student can download the PDF Form using the button Download PDF Form, complete it manually and paste a passport size photo on the form. Attach all the documents (Demand Draft of Rs 1100/- in favor of "International School of Business & Media" payable at Pune towards the application form fees and al ong with the photocopy of all the documents. (10th, 12th, graduation mark sheets and entrance test score card) and send it to the admission office ofISB&M campus. Once the admission office receives the form, the admission office will send mail/courier the prospectus to the student.

Online Application: A student can opt for completing form online; by clicking the tab Apply Online. Once a student complete the application, he/she will get the auto generated 6-digit ISB&M ID (Roll number)

Pay Online:

By using the ISB&M ID, the student will have to pay the application form fee (Rs. 1100/-) by clicking the Pay Online tab using Debit/Credit card.

After successful completion of online payment, the student will get an Online Payment Receipt. A printout of the Online Payment Receipt should be taken for future use.

After successful completion on the online application form, student needs to take a print out of the application form by pressing the Print Online Form TAB, using the 6-digit ISB&M ID (Roll number)

After taking the print out, the student need to send the print out of application form to the admission office of ISB&M campus, along with the photocopy of all the documents. (10th, 12th, graduation mark sheets and entrance test score card & 2 passport size pictures) Once the admission office receives the form, the admission office will send the prospectus to the student. For your own records, keep a copy of completed form for your reference.

The bill for the establishment of Jawaharlal Nehru University was placed in the Rajya Sabha on September 1, 1965 by the then Education Minister, Mr M.C. Chagla. During the discussion that followed, Hon. M.P. Mr. Bhushan Gupta voiced the opinion that this should not be yet another university. New faculties should be created, including scientific socialism, and one thing that this university should ensure was to keep noble ideas in mind and provide accessibility to students from weaker sections of society. The JNU Bill was passed in Lok Sabha on 16th November 1966 and the JNU Act came into force on 22nd April, 1969.

Eligibility:

The candidates having the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission to the “Master in Business Administration” (MBA) programme

•      A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

•      For General Category candidates a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.

•      For OBC candidates a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.

•      For SC/ST/PWD candidates a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.

•      Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate by certain date (to be decided by the University in due course).

Intake for the MBA programme

ABVSME, JNU, would take 50 students each year for its MBA programme.

How to Apply:

•      Application Fees: Applicants for the MBA programme at Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship, JNU, have to pay the following application fees (non-refundable).

•      Rs. 2000 (two thousand) only for General Category and OBC applicants.

•      Rs. 1000 (one thousand) only for SC/ST/PWD applicants.

•      A candidate has to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2018 conducted by IIMs. Any candidate applying to get admission into the JNU MBA programme must submit his/her CAT Test Registration Number.

•      JNU will use CAT scores for short-listing/selecting the candidates for the MBA programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

•      Those having applied to the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU, on qualifying the CAT will be shortlisted and then invited for an interview.

•      Common Admission Test (CAT), 2018, scores will be used for short-listing candidates for interviews for admission in the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU.  At least three times the number of intake in each category would be shortlisted for interviews.

•      The final list of selected candidates will be based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70% and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30%.

•      ABVSME, JNU, will strictly follow the reservation policy as per Government of India rules.

•      Since MBA is a professional course, no additional deprivation points (as it may be the case in some other JNU courses) will be taken into consideration for admission.

Minimum qualifications:

Five percent relaxation in aggregate scores in Senior Secondary, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories [OBC (non-creamy layer; NCL), SC/ST, and PwD]. c.    Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in the current academic year are also eligible to apply; they will be admitted provisionally pending satisfactory fulfilment of the eligibility requirements at the time of joining.

Channel # 2: Joint Graduate Entrance Examination in Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS-2019). Candidates applying through JGEEBILS-2019 must submit an application through NII application portal, along with application fees, and the JGEEBILS-2019 admit card.

Candidates must appear in at least one of the two examinations mentioned above. Candidates will be short-listed for an interview based on their scores in either NII-2019 or JGEEBILS-2019. Candidates are encouraged to appear in both the examinations.

b.    The list of candidates short-listed for interviews shall be available on the NII website and Notice Board on or before15th March 2019.

c.    Interviews will be held at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi from 13th to 15thJune, 2019.

d.    Candidates selected will be enrolled for the Ph.D. programme of NII in academic affiliation with JNU, New Delhi. Candidates joining the programme will be paid second class train fare on providing the proof of journey.

Ph.D. Programme:

a.    The programme will start on 08th July 2019and the allotment of laboratories and thesis supervisors will be made by 12th July 2019, based on the interactions with faculties in the candidates’ area of interest and mutual preference.

b.    The institute currently provides a Junior Research Fellowship of Rs.25000/- per month. Selected candidates who are already fellowship awardees from CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, and DST may avail those fellowships as per rules governed by the respective funding agency.

c.    NII is a residential campus and shared hostel accommodation will be provided to all the students admitted to the program.

A) Applications are invited from eligible candidates who have obtained:-

B) CRITERIA FOR SELECTION:

Selection for the Ph.D. Programme will be based on:

i.       Merit in the entrance test (90 marks). Minimum pass marks for Entrance is 54 marks.

ii.      Candidates Possessing M.Phil* in Nursing (5 marks)

iii.     Each Publication shall be marked 1 (one) mark if published in indexed journal only* (maximum 5 marks)

C) A combined merit list will be prepared of all the M.Sc.(N) candidates belonging to different specialties viz. Psychiatric Nursing, CHN Nursing, OBG Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Pediatrics Nursing based on their performance in Section A and Section B of the Entrance Test.

D) On the basis of merit list as prepared above, select list of candidates would be issued keeping in view their Specialization in M.Sc.(N) and the number of seats available in each Specialization.

The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Government of India. Eligibility:

For admission to CABA-MDTP course and CCC eligibility will be matric or recognized equivalent qualifications. Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible for ‘O’ Level course through ‘O’ level accredited centres. Students should have attained age of 15 years for matric and 17 years for 10+2 and must be below the age of 35 years on the date of application.

Fee: Students admitted will be required to pay a monthly fee of Rs. 250/-p.m. however in case of “A Class” cities fee will be Rs. 500/-p.m. (Accredited centres could charge double amount).
