About College:

The Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan established a Sanskrit Vidyapeetha at Delhi on the auspicious day of Vijaya Dashmi on the 8th of October 1962 and appointed Dr.Mandan Mishra as the officer on-Special-Duty and the Director of the Vidyapeetha. In accordance with the decision of the Sammelan, a separate Society under the name of Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha was established with the late Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri as its Founder President. The inspiration and guidance of Late Shri Shastriji had been the impetus for the development of this Vidyapeetha. Shastriji in his capacity as the Prime Minister of India declared to develop this Vidyapeetha as an International Institution.

Course Name:

B.Ed (SSET)

Eligibility:

1. Atleast 50% marks or equivalent grade in shastri/B.A. (Sanskrit).

2. Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply.

3. Minimum age-20 years as on 01-10-2020

Course Name:

M.Ed (SAET)

Eligibility:

1. Atleast 50% marks or equivalent grade in shiksha shastri/B.Ed. (with Sanskrit).

2. Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply.

3. Minimum age-22 years as on 01-10-2020

Course Name:

Ph.D (VVET)

Eligibility:

1. (A) At least 55% Marks or equivalent grade in Acharya/M.A. (Sanskrit) and at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Shiksha Acharya/M.Ed. (for Ph.D. in Education).

2. Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply.

3. Extrance Test is Compulsory for those candidates who have cleared UGC/NET/SLET in Education/Sanskrit/Sanskrit Traditional, M.Phil/Vishishtacharya in Education/Sanskrit. only those candidates who have cleard JRF are exempted from appearing in VVET, But they must fill online application with required fee.
