Duration of the Courses: The duration of course for Post-Graduate degree including MDS Courses shall be three completed years including the period of examination, provided that in case of candidates having a recognized two years Post-Graduate diploma course in the same subject the duration of course shall be two years. Candidates having diploma in a subject, if they seek admission in Post-Graduate degree course in any other subject, will have to undergo 3-years-course as prescribed. The duration of Diploma course shall be of two years.

How to Apply:

Application Form along with Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, and Delhi-110007 against a crossed Bank Draft/Banker's Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi in the following manner:

(i)                  Sale of Bulletin of Information w.e.f. Monday the 06th December, 2010.

(ii)                In person against Bank Draft for ?1,500/- (?One Thousand Five Hundred only) for General and OBC Category candidates and ?1,000/- (?One Thousand only) for SC/ST/PH Category candidates, between 9:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. & 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on all working days up to 07.01.2011. No cash payment will be accepted.

(iii)               By post for Rs. 1,550/- (One Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty only) for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs. 1,050/- (One Thousand and Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH Category candidates, along with a self addressed envelope of 10" X 8" up to 29.12.2010.

Entrance Test for Admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Homoeopathic Medicine 2011 [University of Delhi]

 The Entrance Test for admission to Post- graduate Degree Courses in Homoeopathic
Medicine for following subjects
will be held on Saturday the 20th November 2010 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed form:-

ü       Practice of Medicines              - 2 Seats (One UR & One OBC)

ü       Organon of Medicines

and Homoeopathy Philosophy            - 2 Seats (One UR & One OBC)

Eligibility for PGD Entrance Examination 2010-2011:-

1.      The candidate must have passed the degree of Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) from the University of Delhi or from any other University established by - law and recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathy; after undergoing a course of study of five years and six months duration including one year compulsory Internship which must be completed by 31st July 2010 and should have obtained permanent registration from the State Council/ Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine.

2.      Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Graded Degree) or equivalent qualification in Homoeopathy included in the Second Schedule to the Act after undergoing a course of study of not less than two years' duration.

Distribution of Seats:-

50% of the total seats in homoeopathic Post Gradute Courses per specially are reserved for candidates who have passed BHMS Degree from the University of Delhi and the rest 50% of the total seats are open to the candidates who have passed BHMS Degree from other Recognized Universities in India except Delhi University.

How to apply:-

The application form along with Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicine, 6th Floor, VP Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a crossed MICR Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque only drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the 'Registrar, University of Delhi' payable at Delhi in the following manner:

ü       By hand for Rs 700/- (Rs. Seven Hundred only) for General/ OBC Categories & Rs 600/- (Rs Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH Categories between 10:00 AM to 03:00 RM on all working days from 4th October, 2010 to 3rd November, 2010.

ü       By post for Rs 750/- (Rs Seven Hundred and fifty only) for General/ OBC Categories & Rs 650/- (Rs Six Hundred and Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH Categories along with a self addressed envelope of 10”x8” upto 20th October, 2010

Application form duly filled in and complete in all respects should reach the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicine, 6th Floor, VR Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-    110007 on or before 3rd November, 2010 upto 3:00 PM

No Application Form after 3rd November, 2010 will be accepted.

The Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicine will not be responsible for any delay in the postal transit.
