LPU NEST 2018
LPU NEST 2018 (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a University Level Examination administrated by the LPU University. Students seeking for admissions in various courses offered by LPU, can appear for this examination
This Examination was started in the year of 2009. Through LPU NEST exam, students will get admitted in B.Tech, Law, MBA, Design, Agriculture, Hotel Management & other Courses. Here we are providing details for LPU NEST 2018 exam, including notification, application form, eligibility, etc.

Eligibility
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST-2018
Qualifying Examination:
Applicants appearing for LPUNEST-2018 should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2018, in Final Exam of 10 + 2 from Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Exam (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, College etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (CBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable
Eligibility Criteria
For admission in B. Tech, B. Tech (Hons.), Integrated B. Tech - M. Tech and Integrated B. Tech - MBA applicant should:
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2018
*For B. Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B. Tech. (BT - Food Process Engineering), B. Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), Integrated B. Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - M. Tech., Integrated B. Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - MBA and Integrated B. Tech (BT - Food Process Engineering) - MBA
Subjects Considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above
*For B. Tech Chemical Engineering (CHE), B. Tech. (CHE - Petroleum), Integrated B. Tech Chemical Engineering (CHE) - MBA and Integrated B. Tech (CHE - Petroleum) - MBA
Subjects Considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above
Exam Pattern for LPUNEST 2018
Mode of Exam - Online mode (Computer based test)
Each MCQ will consist a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement and four responses labelled A, B, C and D; one of the four responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer
Test Duration is of 120 minutes and consists of 90 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) of the objective type
Making Scheme: +4 marks for correct answer; 0 (zero) marks for no answer; no negative marking for incorrect answer
The approximate distribution of questions is as follows:
a) Physics - 30 questions
b) Chemistry - 30 questions
c) Mathematics - 30 questions
d) Biology - 30 questions
Applicants can opt for either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Language of the entrance test shall be English only. Each question carries four marks

Fee and Scholarship applicable to applicants admitted on the basis of LPUNEST-2018 will be as per details given below:

Integrated B Tech - M Tech / Integrated B Tech-MBA - Rs 89,500/- per semester
B. Tech (Hons) - Rs.99500/- per semester
Scholarship Details

On the basis of performance in LPUNEST-2018:
Top 35% applicants’ appearing for LPUNEST (subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2018), will be eligible for Scholarship upto 1.5 Lac per annum (i.eupto 7.5 lakh in case of 5 years integrated Programme and 6 Lakh in case of 4 years for B.Tech programmes)
How to Apply:
LPUNEST 2018 Application
Application of LPUNEST 2018 is to be submitted online by the students by completing the Steps below like filling basic details, completing registration, payment of application fees and entering slot booking details etc.
The guidelines for filling the application form is given below
Registration Details
(i) First of all the candidate should fill the personal information, (ii) The student must provide the valid email id; (iii) Once entered applicant Name, Date of Birth and email id cannot be changed, so you must provide correct information
(iv) Once you entered the above details, a confirmation message containing application id and password will be sent on candidates email and phone; (v) The application should note down this application number, as this is very important for future use
Already Registered User Login: This is for the applicant who is already registered and already filled the details above then can enter by using their Application Number and Password
Payment Details: The candidate should have to make payment against the application fee; the payment can be made in the following way
(i) Internet Banking Facility
(ii) Debit Card
(iii) Credit Card
The candidate should have select the appropriate payment mode and follow the instructions therein. Take a printout of the computer-generated application
Step III - Registration Details
(i) The candidate must have provided all the relevant details carefully; (ii) for Registration Click here; (iii) Then select suitable slot booking method; (iii) Test City cannot be changed; and (v) Applicant has to specify 5 choices of exam date if he/she opt for the university option for slot booking
