About College:
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has been set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2010 at Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest growing states of India with its rich mineral, forest, natural and local resources.
The Institute believes in preparing ethical leaders who are not only committed to business, commerce and industry but are also socially conscious towards their contribution in nation building and bring in name for the country globally. Presently IIM Raipur operates from the Government Engineering College Campus, Raipur. The Government of Chhattisgarh has allotted over 200 acres of land for the proposed IIM Raipur campus in Naya Raipur. For details of eligibility, please visit IIM Raipur website, Apart from the minimum eligibility, a valid CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF score (last three years) or the score of Research Aptitude Test (RAT) is required. The RAT will be conducted by IIM Raipur. Candidates with PGP/EPGP/PGPWE from IIMs are exmpted from these tests.

SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP applicants are exempted from application fee on production of attested copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC/DAP certificate.

Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIM Raipur’s doctoral programme:
Master’s degree in any discipline, with at lease 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade point average.
Or
Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade point average.
Or
Five year/four year Integrated Masters degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
Or
4 years/8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) with at least 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade point average
Those in their final year of Masters or Bachelors degree (B.E /B. Tech) in any discipline can also apply. Such candidates have to complete the requirements for the course before the specified date and produce the original certificates/mark sheets within stipulated time.
CAT/GATE/JRF/GMA/GRE Score
Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) will be shortlisted on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of tests as detailed below. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for interviews at IIM Raipur Campus.
a. Business Policy & Strategy: CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
b. Economics & Business Environment: CAT/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
c. Finance and Accounting: CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC-JRF (in relevant discipline)
d. Marketing: CAT/GMAT/GRE
e. Operations Management: CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE
Candidates residing outside India could choose to take any of the above tests (depending on the area to which they are applying) or appear for GMAT. The doctoral programme accepts test scores that have been taken in the last two years.
Note: Once a candidate takes admission in a given area, s/he will have to pursue the doctoral work in that area.

There is no application fee for SC/ST/NC-OBC/PWD applicants who submit an attested copy of SC/ST/NC-OBC/PWD.
