FOR ADMISION TO MBBS, BDS COURSES FOR SEATS UNDER 15% ALL INDIA QUOTA AND ALSO FOR SEATS UNDER THE CONTROL OF PARTICIPATING STATES, UNIVERSITIES, INSTITUTIONS IN THE ACADEMIC SESION 2016-2017

Online applications are invited for Al India Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental Entrance Test, 2016 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admision to MBBS, BDS Courses Under 15% Al India Quota seats and also for seats under the control of participating States, Universites, and Institutions in the academic session 2016-17.

Ø       Date of Examination – 1st May, 2016 (Sunday)

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION

I. The AIPMT Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zology).

I. The duration of paper would be 03 hours from 10.0 a.m. to 01.0 p.m.

Eligibility:

(i) Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India are Eligible for appearing in the Al India Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) subject to the conditions prescribed in the Information Bulletin.

(ii) He, She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admision or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2016 of the year of his, her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S.,B.D.S. course.

(iii) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admision under 15% Al India Quota Seats in Medical, Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Government, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana is 25 years as on 31st December 2016 of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes.

(iv) Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are eligible to appear in AIPMT for admision in AFMC, Pune.

(v) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admision in MBS, BDS seats under the control of participating States, Universites, and Institutions shall be as per the rules of the State, university, Institution concerned.

(vi) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotors disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH, ST- PH, OBC-PH are required. Those who are appearing Class XI examination in 2016 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE.

2. Online submission of application may be made by accessing the website website. The duration of submission of application form, without late fee and with late fees is given in FEE DETAILS, LAST DATE. Instructions for submitting online application, payment of e are available on website.

3. Online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.

4. The candidate is NOT required to submit printout of the Confirmation Page to the CBSE.

MODE OF FEE SUBMISION

1. Candidates may remit the examination fee in the following manner:

i. Through any Debit, Credit Card using on-line payment gateway facility of Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India.

ii. Through e-challan by depositing fee in any of the branch of Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India. The challan may be generated after filing form on AIPMT website.

iii. Service tax is to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.

2. Candidate may keep the copy of the e-challan (candidate’s copy) with him, her as prof, record of remittance of e in case of payment through e-challan and transaction slip as proof of payment in case of payment through Debit, Credit card.

3. No fee will be accepted by the Board in any other mode i.e. Demand Draft, Cheque, Cash, IPO, Money Order etc.

4. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by the Board under any circumstances however; there is a provision for Auto refund of duplicate, excess payment.

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED TO APPLY ONLINE:

Step 1: Download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully to ensure your eligibilty.

Step 2: Read the instructions for applying online given in the Information Bulletin and keep entire information ready including scanned images of Photograph, Signature, left hand thumb impression and self-declaration in the case of candidate belonging to Andhra Pradesh, J&K and Telangana in JPG format only.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form and upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature, left hand thumb impression and self- declaration (self declaration is required in the case of candidate belonging to Andhra Pradesh, J&K and Telangana.

Step 4: Pay Examination Fe by Debit, Credit card or e-Challan.

Step 5: Download the Confirmation Page and keep the same in safe custody along with proof of remittance of fees for future reference and records.

NOTE: While submitting the online application form, the candidate is required to mention only his, her own or parent’s mobile number (only one mobile no. and one e-mail ID are valid for one application) as al information, communication will be sent by CBSE on registered mobile number and e-mail ID.

RESERVATION OF SEATS & ADMISION IN MEDICAL, DENTAL COLLEGES

1. An Al India merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Al India Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental Entrance Test and candidates shall be admitted to seats under 15% Al India Quota from the said list only by following their Existing Reservation Policies.

2. Admision to MBBS, BDS courses in the seats under the control of participating States, Universites, and Institutions shall be based on marks obtained in the All India Pre-Medical, Pre- Dental Entrance Test and other criteria decided by them.

3. Al other existing eligibility criteria for admision to Medical, Dental Colleges shall be applicable as per Rules and Policies of the participating State, University, Institution Concerned.

IMPORTANT

Ø       The entire application process of AIPMT-2016 is online, including uploading of photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression, self declaration in case of candidates belonging to the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir

and Telangana etc. Therefore, the candidates are NOT REQUIRED TO SEND any document(s) to AIPMT Unit through Post, By Hand.

The University is pleased to announce the following schedule of Common Entrance Tests to be held for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the university for the academic session 2016-17

Established by Government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 with its Amendment in 1999, GGSIPU is one of India’s best universities offering an array of courses like engineering, technology, architecture, management,  medicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, education, law, journalism and mass communication and many others. Many colleges and institutes are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University or GGSIPU.  The admission procedure for each of these courses is through a common entrance test (CET) conducted across various locations in India. Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

(2) The candidate who has studied either Civics (Political Science) or History or Geography or Economics will be eligible to take Social Science as one of the teaching subject;

(3) The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subjects or subsidiary subjects passed by the candidate at the graduation level or at 12th level.

(4) The B.Com students shall not be given Commerce, Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics as teaching subjects   as   he s e   subj e c t s   a r e  not   t aught   a t   the elementary and secondary level in schools.

(a) Candidates having passed Bachelor's degree in Basic Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and having studied any one of the following subjects:

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Life Science

(b) Graduate candidates must have 50% marks in the teaching subjects chosen for the school teaching methodology. Graduate and P.G. degree, Diploma Food Technology, CA, CS, Fashion Technology as are not taught at school level so are not eligible for B.Ed.

(c) For B.A. (H), B.Sc. (H) students 50% marks in aggregate are required in their main exam (excluding the qualifying subject) and 45% in the subsidiary are mandatory.

Note:

(i) The candidate must have passed at least two subjects out of the list of the teaching subjects (Please see Appendix -2).  The s e   two subjects   should be available as teaching subjects in the institute, college in which the candidates seeks to take admission

(ii) The candidate who has passed a paper either in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Bot any, Zoology, Life Science will be eligible to take Integrated Science as one of the teaching subjects.

(iii) The candidates having done B.Tech, M.Tech. B.Lib. M.Lib.,   B.A.   (Vocational), BJMC, MJMC, B.Pharma., BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, PGDBM, BPT, MPT, BHMCT, MBBS, BHMS,B.Arch., LLB,LLM and any other technical   degree which   does   not  come u nder Conventional School System* are not eligible for the B.Ed. programme.

* Conventional School System with reference to

·         Bachelor of Education (BEd.) Clause above refers to the subjects which are taught at the elementary, secondary and senior secondary stage in schools.

Eligibility:

The candidates whose subjects do not come under the purview of the conventional subjects' scheme such as Electronics, Instrumentation, Bio-informatics, Business Economics, Radiology, Nursing, Tourism, Advertising etc. are not eligible to apply for the B.Ed. Programme. If a candidate having any of these degrees applies for Common Entrance Test for B.Ed  programme, he, she will not be allowed to appear in the test and if by default, he,she appears in the test, the admission will not be granted to such a candidate.

(iv) For Post Graduate candidates having done post graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and having studied any one of the following:

English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Social Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioscience, Accountancy, Business Studies, History, Political Science, Economics, Geography, Psychology, Punjabi, Home Science

Note:

(i) The candidate will be allotted one of the teaching subjects from the subjects listed above, provided the same is being offered by the institute, college where the candidate seeks to take admission. For list of the teaching subjects being offered by the institute, college for post–graduates please see Appendix 2.

(ii) The candidate who has passed a paper either in Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Science will be eligible to take Biology as one of the teaching subjects.

(iii) The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subjects or subsidiary subjects passed by the candidate at post graduation or graduation level

B.Sc degree   or equivalent (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Anthropology or any field of Life Sciences) with minimum 50% marks.

·         Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS)

Eligibility:

Pass in 12th class examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

·         Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS)

Eligibility:

Pass in 12th class examination under & 10+2 system conducted by the Medicine Surgery (BHMS) recognized Board, University with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and securing minimum 60% marks aggregate in these subjects, will be eligible. A candidate also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core,   elective   o r   functional)   in the qualifying examination.

·         Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT)

·         Bachelor of Occupational Therapy  (BOT)

Eligibility:

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

How to Apply:

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:-

1.     Detailed Guidelines for filling up of the Application Form are given in Appendix: 5. A specimen copy of CET Application Form is given at Appendix: 6

2.     The applicants are advised to retain a photocopy of the duly filled-in Application Form before the same is submitted to the University.

3.     Online Submission of Application Form For the convenience to the applicants as well as their parents, guardians, the University is also providing the facility of On-Line Submission of Application Form for CET-2016. The application form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee of Rs 1000,- and Rs 100,- as postage and handling can be submitted through the Internet (to be notified on the University website (same as that for offline application). The Admit Cards will, however, be sent only by registered post.

4.     Submission by Hand, post 

The Application Form complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope given along with Admission Brochure, should be submitted by hand at the University counter or it may be sent by Registered, Speed Post to the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075.

After the last date is over, application form sent through Registered, Speed Post or by any other means will not be accepted, irrespective of the fact when the form was dispatched, posted. Therefore, candidates are advised to submit their applications at the earliest, instead of waiting for the last date.

5.   One application form is valid only for One CET Code. For applying in more than One CET Code, the applicant should purchase separate Admission Brochure and apply separately.

6.   Display of Information on the University's Website regarding receipt of Application Forms for all Common Entrance Tests - 2016

I.       The details of application forms received by the Office of the Controller of Examinations will be displayed on the University Website. The candidates are advised to check their status with the help of Application Form number indicated on the Application Form.

II.    In case any candidate, who has submitted the application form either by post or in person, does not find his, her application form number on the University's Website, then he, she is advised to contact the Office of Controller of Examinations, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, immediately along with the relevant particulars (photocopy of the duly filled in CET Application Form and proof of its delivery to the University). In case of any query, candidate may contact on 011- 25302287.

7.     No document (copies of certificates, mark-sheets etc.) is required to be attached with the Application Form.

8.     Write the complete address by giving your name and PIN CODE carefully and legibly. Please note that his address will be used by the University for All the Correspondence in future. Therefore, it should be very clearly written with black ball point pen only. The address should be properly filled up in the prescribed boxes and should not overflow. The University will not be responsible for any loss in transit or for incorrect address given by the applicant in the CET Application Form. No request for change of address will be entertained till the admission is finalized.

AILET is conducted for taking admission to 5 years Bachelors of Arts. Bachelors of Law (B.A.LL.B) honors, 1 year Master of Law (LL.M) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs for the session 2016.

Eligibility:

·         For B.A.LL.B (Hons.) Program:

·         Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination and scored a minimum of 50%. However, candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in the year of the AILET can also apply provided they meet the above condition at the time of admission.

·         Candidates should be less than 21 years of age or 23 years in case of SC, ST candidates.

UPESDAT 2016 also known as UPES Design Aptitude Test is the entrance examination conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for admissions to four-year undergraduate Design programmes Bachelor of Fine Arts (Digital Arts) program and Bachelor of Design (B. Des.).

Candidates will be offered admission in Bachelor of Design (B. Des.). on the basis of UPESDAT which is an Online Design Test followed by Interviews and Presentation of Portfolio as well as on the basis of UCEED 2016 and Board Merit

Kindly Note: Personal Interview and presentation on the work portfolio is applicable to all the ways by which the candidates seek admission

However in case of Bachelor of Fine Arts (Digital Arts) program admissions will be offerd only on the basis of UPESDAT 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Students can get admission in B. Des. in UPES either on the basis of marks scored in UPESDAT 2016 or UCEED 2016 or Class 12 Merit. BFA Admissions will be done only on the basis of UPESDAT.

Bachelor of Design (B. Des.)

Exam Pathway (up to 80% Seat distribution) - Through UPESDAT

Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (Class 10 and Class 12)

Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate in PCM, B at Senior Secondary Level (Class 12)

Non-Exam Pathway (up to 20% Seat distribution)- Board Merit, UCEED 2016 Merit

Board Merit: Candidates must have scored at least 65% marks at Class 10 and Class 12 level.

Candidates must have got minimum 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, Biology in Class 12

JEE Mains, UCEED Merit: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks at Class 10 and Class 12 level.

Candidates must have got minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Class 12 level with valid UCEED scores.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Digital Arts)

Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks at Class 10 and Class 12 level.

Mode 1: By Demand Draft: Candidates can purchase the UPES Prospectus & Application form by sending a demand draft of Rs. 1,850 in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi to “University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, “Enrollments Office, UPES, 210, 2nd Floor, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi 110020.”

Mode 2:By Cash: Candidates can purchase UPES Prospectus & Application on a cash payment of Rs. 1,750 from admission counters at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai.

Selection process

UPESDAT Result will be announced by UPES tentatively in one or two days after the Written test has been conducted

SAAT 2017 is the Common Entrance Exam for Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University admission to UG and PG courses for the academic session 2017-18.

Lateral Entry Programmes:

Under Lateral Entry (LE) scheme 20% of intake capacity of previous year in appropriate discipline and carry forward vacant seats of 1st year of Engineering, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Nursing, MCA will be filled up at the 2nd year level. These seats will be considered over and above the intake capacity. (Refer - Appendix-XVIII)

Eligibility:

For Bachelor Degree Programmes:

a) BTech, Dual Degree in Engineering, Dual Degree in Management: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 50% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned.
OR
Pass in Diploma in Engineering, Technology with less than 60% marks in aggregate.
b) MBBS, BDS: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes and Other backward Classes the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. For PH candidates qualifying examination marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For SC, ST, OBC candidates the limit is minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For PH candidates the limit is minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. All candidates must pass in English.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2017. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of  5 (five) years for the candidates of SC and ST.
c) BPharm: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics ,Biotechnology ,Computer Science, Biology, Information Technology or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 45% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned (40% incase of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category) OR Pass in Diploma programme in Pharmacy with less than 60% marks.

d) BHMCT: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% incase of SC, ST, OBC category)
e) BSc in Nursing (Basic): Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC ,ST ,OBC candidates only. 

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2017.

f) BSc in Nursing (Post Basic): Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council. Candidate must be a member of TNAI.
g) Five years integrated BBA LLB Honours Programme: Pass or appearing (2017) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC, ST. Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st August 2017.

For Master Degree Programmes:

a) MTech: Pass or appearing in BE, BTech, AMIE, MCA, MSc in the respective discipline or equivalent. For MTech in Biotechnology, candidates having BTech, BE in Biotechnology or related fields, MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent, MBBS, BPharm, BVSc with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. Candidates having MCA and MSc (Maths) degree are eligible for MTech in Comp Sc & Data Processing. Candidates with MSc (Electronics) are eligible for MTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and MTech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. MSc in Computer Science and IT are eligible for MTech in Computer Science & Engineering and CS&IT respectively. A candidate with BTech (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy) or MSc (Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Life Science, Botany, Zoology) is eligible for MTech in Environmental Science & Technology. For MTech Material Science & Technology candidate must have MSc (Physics),MSc (Chemistry) ,BTech (Electronics & Communication Engg), BTech (Electrical Engg) For admission to MTech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MTech programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or valid GATE score and personal interview taken together. After the interview,the merit list prepared by the Board members will be final.
b) MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with at least 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC ,ST ,OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level. Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.
c) MBA, MHMCT, MHA, MHTM: Pass or appearing (2017) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts ,BE ,BTech ,MBBS ,BPharm, BSc Agri, BVSC, BHMS,BAMS, BDS, BPT,BHMCT ,BBA ,BCA examination or equivalent in 2017 from any recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category). For MHMCT the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC Category) in BHMCT. Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in GMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2017. They are required only to submit the filled up application form. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD, PI), all taken together.
d) MPharm: Pass or appearing (2017) at BPharm examination from any recognized University with at least 50% marks. The candidates having valid GPAT score can apply. GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MPharm programme will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or valid GPAT and personal interview taken together and a final merit list will be prepared. e) MSc in Biotechnology Pass or appearing (2017) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Engineering, Technology, Medicine (MBBS,BDS) from any recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC category).

f) MSc in Nursing: Passed BSc Nursing (Basic, Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area but they should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
g) LLM: Pass or appearing (2017) Bachelor Degree in Law or studied Integrated Law Course or equivalent thereof, from any recognized University, securing 50% Marks in aggregate.
For Lateral Entry Programmes:

a) Admission to 2nd year Degree Programme in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma holders: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year diploma course in Engineering ,Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent. For Pharmacy, pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at two year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP) or SCTE&VT, Odisha, or equivalent.

b) Lateral Entry MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) in three year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), BSc in Information Technology and BSc in Computer Science with at least 60% of marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
c) Choice of Discipline: Candidates having Diploma in Engineering indicated under Column – I are eligible for admission into the corresponding discipline only mentioned under Column – II (Appendix - XVIII). Candidates will appear a common paper in the entrance test and the branch allotment will be done during the counselling as per Appendix-XVIII.

NOTE: Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination (in the year 2017) may also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination with pass mark in individual appropriate subjects as mentioned for different programmes on the day of counseling, failing which the rank ,position secured in the entrance examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admission as per the rank. The above mentioned clause is also applicable for pass out candidates. e.g.: For BTech the candidate has to secure pass mark in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject.

Ø       Application Form & Information Brochure of SAAT–2017 can be obtained in Person, by Post from the SOA University, Khandagiri Square, Bhubaneswar - 751030. Forms are also available at different counters of the constituent institutes of the university.

Ø       Application form & information brochure of SAAT–2017 can also be obtained from designated branches of Axis Bank, Syndicate Bank & Punjab National Bank (enlisted in Appendix-XIX).

Ø       Application form & information brochure of SAAT-2017 is available at website. The candidates have to fill up the details online, make payment by Debit Card, Credit Card Rs. 500/- (on account of examination fees),take print out of application form, affix a recent colour photograph and send it by Post, courier.

Instructions for SAAT-2017 Online Application Form

1.   Check that the online application form has been properly and completely filled up (For details regarding filling up the application form refer the SAAT 2017 information brochure).
2.   Application process: Incomplete application will not be accepted. Please follow the below mentioned process below to complete your application process.
Step1. Fill up the application form & Proceed to payment

Step2. Select the payment method - Demand Draft, Online payment (Debit, Credit Card of any bank is accepted)

Step3. The Demand Draft payment method selection will complete the application process. If you select online payment it will redirect to the Merchant gateway. You need to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs 500/- . The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to our University website for confirmation of the Application process is complete. Do not close, refresh, hit back button at the merchant gateway till the payment process is complete. (The system will record the whole application process. Do not close the window until you have completed step 1 to 3 or else the application process will be invalid.)

Step4. Download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form. The link to download the application form will be send to your mail.

Step5. Fill up the Demand Draft details as specified in the application form. (Demand Draft of 500/- in favor of “Siksha O AnusandhanUniversity”, Payable at Bhubaneswar).

Step6. Please retain a photocopy of filled up application form and the bank draft with you for future reference. On the back side of the Demand draft write your Application Number, Name & Course code.

Step7. The candidate and parent, guardian and the candidate must sign on the form as specified in the application form.

Step8. All candidates Paste your recent Colour passport size Photograph (Do not staple the photograph).
