Govt. of West Bengal invites applications for admission to the above one year full time PG course in HRD & Labour Welfare conducted by the State Labour institute under the Labour Department.

Distribution of Seats

a) Kolkata Centre: Non-Sponsored Candidates - 40. Sponsored Candidates - 05

b) Siliguri Gentre: Non-Sponsored Candidates - 25. Sponsored Candidates - 05

Tentative Date of Admission Test: 07th August 2016 (Test on General Aptitude for English, Writing Ability, and General Knowledge. Duration of Admission Test: 90 Minutes)

Eligibility

For Non-Sponsored Candidates: Graduation from a recognized University

For Sponsored Candidates: Graduation with experience of working for at least one year as a Welfare Officer , Personnel Officer, Industrial Relations Officer , Supervisor etc. in an organization employing at least 100 persons

Reservation: As per State Government Rules

Application Procedure

The applications should reach the Director, State Labour institute, Govt. of West Bengal, P-3, CIT Scheme, VII-M, Manicktala Main Road, Kankurgachi, Kolkata-700054 (for Kolkata Centre) and the Deputy Director, State Labour institute, Govt. of West Bengal, Dagapur Complex, P.O. Pradhannagar, Siliguri, Dist. Darjeeling, Pin-734403 (for Siliguri Centre) within 28th July 2016.

Admission Test Fee (Non Refundable): Rs.l00/- for General Candidates and Rs.50/- for SC, ST Candidates remitted through a Demand Draft (not IPO) drawn in favour of 'Director, State Labour Institute, Kolkata payable at Kolkata (for Kolkata Centre) and 'Deputy Labour Commissioner, State Labour Institute, Siliguri payable at Siliguri (for Siliguri Centre).

Course Fee: Rs.6000/- for Non-Sponsored Candidates and Rs.10000,- for Sponsored Candidates
