How to Apply:

Candidates shall bring the following documents for verification:

·         Registration Slip

·         All candidates shall bring all mark sheets and a certificate in original from 10th (or equivalent) onwards for verification. Two sets of photocopies of certificates, attested by the gazetted officer or self-attested are to be submitted and one set shall be retained by the University and one set by the Institute. In the absence of mandatory documents of proof of eligibility for admission in programme, the candidature shall be cancelled.

·         In case of students who have passed the qualifying examination through distance/open education system of any recognized University/Board/ Institution, the necessary documentary evidence related to the location of his/her study centre, i.e. study centre proof, a certificate from the University imparting open/distance education certifying the location of the study centre.

·         Conduct and Character Certificate in original from the Head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination has been passed or from Gazetted Officer (Original), not more than 6 (six) months old.

·         Physical Fitness Certificate: All students shall be required to submit a Medical Certificate in given in Part-B in Admission Brochure 2019-20 (As per Appendix 6).

·         Reserved Category Certificate: All reservations category candidates who are seeking admission in the reserved category in SC/ST/DEF/PWD/PH etc must bring their reservation certificate in original along with the self-attested photocopy of the certificate in original along with the self-attested photocopy of the certificate.

Eligibility:

Percentage of Marks= 10 X CGPA

·         H.S.C. vocational examination.

·         A Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (www.aicte-india.org) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration.

·         General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London, Cambridge or Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

·         High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

·         Candidates who have completed Class XII (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class XII examination.

·         In case the Class XII examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have Passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University)

Note: Aspirants who have appeared at the annual examination in the year 2019 and have been placed in compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2019.

How to Apply:

For admission to B.Des. programme 2019, all candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only by accession DTU website before June, 30, 2019. The Application process is completed only when a print out of the filled ONLINE application form is taken after paying the registration fee online. the candidates must bring a duly signed copy of the same along with two good quality photo (Same as uploaded on online application form) affixed in the appropriate place on the form on the day of counselling.

Candidates are requested to ensure that they must fulfill all such requirements before filling and applying for programme. incomplete application due to anyreason is liable for rejection by the university. in this regard, no communication will be entertained.

1.    The candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (12 years)/ Indian School Certificate Examination of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination/ Intermediate/ Pre-medical Examination or an Examination recognised as equivalent thereto with 50% marks or more (45% marks or more for reserved category) in the aggregate of four subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English Core) as main subjects provided the student has passed each subject separately. Candidate should be declared overall passed on the mark sheet.

2.    The candidate should be minimum 17 year of age on 31st December in the year of admission.

Note:

A SC/ ST candidate while applying for admission will be required to submit a certificate to the effect that he/ she belongs to that particular category from competent authority. List of authorities can be obtained from administration office of the Institute on request.

An Orthopaedically handicapped- OH candidate will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by the Government.

To appear in the Entrance examination for admission to the Master of Physiotherapy, candidates should have fulfilled atleast ONE of the following conditions:

a.    Successful completion of an undergraduate physiotherapy degree (B.Sc. (PT) / BPT) from a recognized college/institute/university within India of not less than 4½ years duration (including 6 months of internship) with 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NC/Orthopedically Disabled) in their university exams. Candidates who have completed 3 ½ years course from recognise collage / institute / collage/ or university and an additional bridge course of 1 year will be considered equivalent to 4 ½ years course.

b.    An undergraduate physiotherapy qualification (B.Sc. (PT) / BPT etc.) of 3 ½ years duration from a recognized college/institute/university plus at least 10 years of work experience.

c.    Registration with Delhi Council for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy is mandatory

Candidates who have applied for registration will have to:

1) Provide a receipt issued by DCPTOT.

2) Provide registration certificate at the time of Counselling.

SC/ST/OBC - NC CANDIDATES:

A Scheduled Caste/Tribe/Other Backward Class - Non creamy layer candidate while applying for admission will be required to submit a certificate that establishes that he/she belongs to that particular category from a competent authority, as listed below along with the application form.

Note: OBC category candidate should have OBC-NC certificate.
