Admissions Criteria:

1. All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 that was conducted by Indian Institute of Management followed by CMAT 2020 (another National Level Test) on the basis of normalization of their scores.

2. The University will also conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of CET only if the seats are left vacant after finishing CAT2019 followed by CMAT/ 2020 merit list

2. Eligibility Conditions:

i. Eligibility conditions shall be as per Council of Architecture notification(s) applicable at the time of admissions. Candidates may see the web site of the Council, http://www.coa.gov.in/

ii. All candidates possessing any of the above qualifications must also have passed the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) – 2020 conducted by Council of Architecture.

Admission Criteria:

1.    Admissions will be made on the basis of NATA Score and the percentage of Aggregate* marks, i.e., (percentage will be calculated considering best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English among all paper offered to the studen) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. senior secondary level or equivalent. No candidate shall be admitted unless she/he has passed 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 diploma examination with mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

2.    Merit list shall be prepared based on:

a. Architectural Aptitude (NATA score): 50%

b. Qualifying Examination (i.e., 10+2 OR 10+3 years diploma recognized by the Central / State Government: 50%

3.    Appearing in NATA Examination conducted by Council of Architecture

a. All candidates are advised to take NATA Examination of the Council of Architecture at their initiative. If a candidate has not qualified in the NATA – 2020 test, then the candidate shall not be considered for admission.

b. All candidates are required to keep three copies of the NATA score as one copy shall be required to be submitted at the time of document verification to the University, one copy shall be required to be submitted to the institution where admitted and one copy as a record copy by the candidate.

4.    In the inter-se-merit of candidates securing equal ranks, following criteria will be adopted to determine the merit:

i. The Candidate getting higher score in NATA;

ii. In case of candidates securing equal scores in NATA, then the candidate getting higher marks in Mathematics of the qualifying examination;

iii. In case of tie in (i) and (ii) above, the candidate getting higher marks in qualifying examination;

iv. In case of tie in (i), (ii) and (iii) above, the candidate older in age shall rank higher.

5.    Applicants should retain a printout of the CET application form as proof of identity of the candidate at the time of counselling for admission.

6.    All candidates are further advised to check the basic eligibility for NATA 2020 on the official website of the Council of Architecture (http://www.coa.gov.in).

The candidates are advised to retain a copy of their NATA score / Result card for future reference.

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. This was a generous contribution of Scindia family, in particular Kailashwasi Maharaja Shrimant Jiwaji Rao Scindia and late Rajmata Shrimati Vijayaraje Scindia. How to Apply:

·         Firstly the student should go through the advertisement published in News papers or University website and decide in which courses/ she / he wants to apply. The students can also visit the website of the university. After deciding, the course/courses in which she / he wish to apply The student may fill up form himself/ herself or the student can go to the kiosks of mp online and ask the kiosk person for submission of admission form of Jiwaji University Gwalior. The kiosk person will help the student in filling the form. The student is required to carry with her / his two passport size recent photographs, and all mark sheets and certificate for getting it scanned and attached to the admission form.

·         The student will have to fill her/ his name, father’s name and occupation mother’s name, date of birth, category to which she/he belongs, nationality, place of birth, address for correspondence, extracurricular activities, status of the student whether she/ he is in service, and all her / his academic details of 10th,12th,graduation. At the end they will have to sign a declaration. At the same time she/he also has to fill the Proctorial Board form. The students also require filling their mobile number to enable them to send SMS.

·         Merit of admission will be prepared on the basis of scanned documents enclosed by candidate in application form. Therefore if candidate does not enclose all required documents or furnish wrong information he/she will be himself/ herself responsible for any consequences.

·         The Candidate has to take the print outs of Admission Form cum Receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and required to submit printout of completed application, along with the photocopies of his testimonials viz. photocopies of all mark sheets, caste certificate, certificates related to the participation in NCC, NSS, Sport and Co curricular activities at the time of admission in respective departments. The list of original documents and their self attested photocopies to be brought at the time of reporting to the respective department by the candidate himself/herself personally is given in the end of the rules.

·         Last date for submission of admission form, and other important dates are given in the end of the rules.

·Payment of application fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs 800/- for SC/ST/OBC) together with Rs. 200/- registration per subject through mp online. For every course, registration fee of Rs. 200/- per course / subject has to be paid along with the application fees Rs. 1000/- at the kiosk centre (For example if a candidate applies for three courses. She / he needs to pay Rs. 1000+600 = 1600/-and Rs.800+600=1400/-for SC/ST/OBC). A student is permitted to apply in maximum of five courses only.

·         Applications for admission shall not be accepted after the last date as notified by the University.

·         The list of successful candidates will be prepared in accordance of their merit. The list will be prepared for General and Reserved category, separately. However, if a candidate of reserved category finds his/her merit in both the lists, he/she will have choice to opt any of these.

Dibrugarh University, the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The University is situated at Rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometres to the south of the premier town of Dibrugarh in the eastern part of Assam as well as India. Institute of Technology, Nirma University, earlier known as Nirma Institute of Technology, started in 1995 by Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF), was the first self-financed engineering college in Gujarat. Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme

Eligibility:

·         The applicant for the Post- Doctoral Fellowship Programme shall possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree from a recognised University, other than Nirma University.

·         The applicant should have three publications in high quality Journals (listed in the Web of Science / SCOPUS / Hein Database / Indian Citation Index / ABDC / EBSCO – Art & Architecture Database or similar international agency).

·         The upper age limit of the candidate is 40 years (at the time of the submission of application). Age relaxation of 5 (five) years is given to the women candidates.

·         The candidates, who have completed their earlier post-doctoral fellowship assignment are also eligible.

Procedure of Admission

For admission to the Postdoctoral Fellowship Programmes, the University invites the applications through advertisement in newspapers, social media and the University website. The candidates have to apply in a format prescribed by the University and also have to submit necessary copies of certificates, biodata, list of publications, detailed Research Proposal, etc. The Research Proposal should include the Research Project Title, Research Objectives, Project Summary, Expected Outcomes of the proposed Research, Requirement of Infrastructure/Equipment/Software, Timeline of the Research, etc. The candidate would make a presentation of Research Proposal before the Selection Committee. Followed by the presentation, there will be personal interview of the candidate. The Selection Committee makes its recommendations on the basis of the biodata, publications of the candidates, presentation by the candidate, novelty of the research proposal and personal interview.

How to Apply:

1.    The applicant who fulfills the necessary requirements can apply for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme admissions by filling up the prescribed Application Form and paying the Processing Fee.

2.    Applicants should submit the duly filled in Application Form along with non-refundable admission Processing Fee of Rs.1250/-. A Demand Draft drawn in favour of Nirma University, payable at Ahmedabad should accompany the Form.

3.    List of Enclosures to be submitted are as under:

  • Qualifying examination mark-sheets/grade sheets, Certificate of Passing of Master Degree and Ph.D. Degree.
  • Authenticated document showing conversion from CPI/CGPA to percentage, wherever applicable.
  • Proof of age.
  • Certificate of research/ work experience, if any.
  • Tentative Research Proposal (including a Research Project Title, Research Objectives, Project Summary, Expected Outcome of the proposed research and Details with regard to requirement of infrastructure/equipment/software, timeline of research, etc.)
  • Copies of the technical papers published in refereed journals.
  • Biodata.

4.    No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the admission process.

Course Name:

PhD (Full-Time and Part-Time) [PhD Programmes offered in the University are by the Faculty of Technology & Engineering, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Architecture]

Eligibility:

For Ph.D. (Full-Time and Part-Time Programme): Candidates for admission to the. programme shall have a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions..

Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.

How to Apply:

·         The Application Form Processing Fee for the Ph.D. Programme is Rs. 1250/- (non-refundable). The application will be considered complete only after payment of the Application Form Processing Fee through online mode.

·         The applicant who fulfills the necessary requirements can apply for the Ph.D. admissions in Full-Time, Part-Time, Part-Time (Visvesvaraya Scheme only for Technology & Engineering) or all the categories. Those who are applying for all the three categories will have to pay the processing fee of Rs. 1250/- + Rs. 1250/-+1250/- = Total Rs. 3750/

List of Enclosures to be uploaded are as under:

·         Qualifying examination mark-sheets/grade sheets, Certificate of Passing of Graduation and Master Degree

·         Authenticated document showing conversion from CPI/CGPA to percentage, wherever applicable

·         Certificate of UGC-NET/SLET (Including JRF) / Score Card of GATE with validity of duration and cut-off marks / Certificate of Teacher Fellowship Holder / Certificate of M.Phil. Programme.

i) Experience Certificate, if applicable

ii) Certificate of Research Experience, if any

iii) No Objection Certificate from the present employer (applicable for the full-time sponsored candidates)

iv) No Objection Certificate and Infrastructural Support Certificate for conducting research from the present employer (applicable for only the part-time candidates)

v) Tentative Research Proposal (including a tentative title, objectives of research, proposed methodology, time –line, etc.)

vi) Copies of the technical papers published in refereed journals, if any
