About College:

The Indian Institute of Forest Management is a sectoral management institute, which constantly endeavors to evolve knowledge useful for the managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and allied sectors. Applicants should have (a) at least a three-year bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PD) or equivalent CGPA. Admission Procedure

Common Admission Test (CAT)

All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM, Bhopal have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score only for short-listing the candidates for two year full time post graduate programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

Reservation

27%, 15%, 7.5% and 3% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC-Non-Creamy, SC, ST, and PD respectively, provided they meet the minimum selection criteria as specified by IIFM.

In addition to CAT, the candidates should fill up a separate application form for admission to PGDFM. This form can be obtained either personally or by post by sending aDemand Draft of Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC / ST) drawn in favour of "Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management" payable at Bhopal.Alternatively, the form can be downloaded from the website and the filled in hardcopy of the form along with the Draft for the specified amount should be sent to IIFM. Alternatively the information bulletin and the application form can be purchased by paying cash at the various centres of the following coaching institute (Photocopy of the cash receipt issued by the coaching institute should be attached):

Filled in application form, complete in all respect including the CAT registration number (which will be available on CAT admit card, issued by IIM) should reach IIFM Bhopal. Applicant should attach the photocopy of CAT admit card along with IIFM application form.

Providing inaccurate or incomplete information or malpractice of any kind or canvassing will result in disqualification of the candidate.

Register yourself on www.suas.ac.in under Apply Online by creating a New User for which the following details would need to be entered Name, Contact nos. and email id. Create your own password and re-type the same for confirmation.

Step 2:

Log on to Apply Online Portal with the login credentials which are the email id and password created in Step 1 above.

Step 3:

Purchase the Application Form by paying the Fees Rs. 1,500/- online for Indian students, $75 for SAARC students and $100 for Other countries. You can also download the Application Form in soft copy, after completing the Payment successfully.

Step 4:

The Application Form consists of the following sections Student Personal Information, Parent / Guardian Information, Educational / Academic Details, Examination Details and the choice of Course / Program interested in. Kindly ensure that all the information is available with you, when you start filling up the Application Form. Fill all the details in the online Application form.

Step 5:

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India, laid the foundation stone on 11th December 1964 at a sprawling campus of over 225 acres of land at Naulakha Parade ground. UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE, UJJAIN formerly known as Govt. Engineering College, Ujjain was established in 1966 by Govt. of M.P. with a view to improve the technical education. ·         The candidate  seeking admission must hold a  bachelor’s degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks (Relaxation for SC/ST candidates as per Ordinance of BU, Bhopal) or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 & UGC Act 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD),Government of India.

·         The basis of computing the percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be based on the practice followed by the university/ institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.

·         In case of CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university / institution from where they have obtained bachelor’s degree. In case of unavailability of such system, it will be established by the NITTTR by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum Possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.

·         Candidates appearing for the final bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination can also apply for provisional admission if they produce a certificate of obtaining minimum eligibility marks based on the aggregate of available grades/marks from the Principal/Registrar/head of institution of their college/institute stating that they have completed all the requirements (the results may, however, be awaited) for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate.

·         Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the bachelor’s degree equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate Issued by Principal/Registrar of their college/institute  failing which will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
