Eligibility:

Maximum age limit is 45 years as on 1st July 2019. A Bachelors degree with at least 50 percent marks and Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with minimum 55% marks (absolute) including Five year/Four-year Integrated Master's Degree programme and with good academic records., or Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with minimum 55% marks (absolute) or for IIFM Graduates, who have done PGDFM and IIM graduates who have done PGDM, the minimum OGPA of 3.00 in 4.33 maximum scale, is required or For MRM Post Graduates from IIFM, with 3.00 CGPA. Financial Assistance

Each student would be given a monthly fellowship of Rs.16,000/- in first and second year; Rs.19,000/- in third and fourth year during the programme. A contingency grant of Rs.35,000/- per year would also be provided.

Eligibility:

Short listed candidates will be called for group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI). How to Apply:

Information on Submission of Applications:

The Candidates are required to apply online through the website. They are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID and a mobile number. They should be kept active till the completion of the programme, if admission is granted. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, she/he should create a new e-mail ID before applying online. Candidates are required to upload their recent photograph and signature. Before applying online a candidate is required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature. Candidates can pay the application fee through Bank Challan. The Bank Challan is generated after filling the online application form and she/he can deposit the fees in the following University‟s account Number. State Bank of India through any nationalized Bank (NEFT mode) on the next working day. One day after the payment is made the candidate can take the print out of the application form by using the username and password. Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology is a unit of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, engaged in R & D in non-nuclear front line research areas of Lasers, Particle Accelerators & related technologies. RRCAT was established by the Department of Atomic Energy, India to expand the activities carried out at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, in two frontline areas of science and technology namely Lasers and Accelerators. On February 19, 1984 the President of India, Gyani Zail Singh, laid the foundation stone of the centre. Construction of laboratories and houses began in May 1984.

Ph.D. programme in specialized areas of Physical, Chemical, Life and Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) Sciences

Qualification:

For Physical Sciences: M.Sc. degree in Physics with a minimum of 60% overall marks, and must have qualified Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST-2018) and/or CSIR-UGC NET (December 2016 or June/December 2017: JRF, not lecturership).

For Chemical Sciences: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% overall marks, and must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (December 2016 or June/December 2017: JRF, not lecturership)/ GATE (i.e., GATE-2016/ GATE-2017/ GATE-2018).

For Life Sciences: M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% overall marks, and must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (December 2016 or June/ December 2017: JRF, not lecturership)/ BET-2017/ GATE (i.e., GATE-2016/ GATE-2017/ GATE-2018). Candidates having M.Sc. degree in Botany/ Agricultural Science background need not apply.

For Engineering Sciences: Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree in Mechanical / Thermal/ Production / Mechatronics Engineering / Manufacturing/ Material Science, with First class or at least 60% marks or at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale and must have qualified GATE (i.e., GATE-2016/ GATE-2017/ GATE-2018). The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Production/ Materials Engineering.

Those applicants who are completing the qualifying degree in summer of 2018 can also apply, provided they have minimum of 60% overall marks in the completed semesters. If selected, the final degree mark sheet should be submitted by 1st November 2018. Continuation in the Ph.D. programme will be subject to the candidate obtaining minimum 60% marks overall (converted to percentage as per the concerned university’s rules). 5 year integrated M.S. (of IISERs) will be treated at par with 5 year integrated M.Sc.

Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Selection process:

The selection of the students for the Ph.D. programme will be a two-step process:-

1.    Screening of the applications, followed by

2.    An interview of the short-listed candidates by the Selection Committees.

For Physical Sciences, the screening will be done on the basis of applicant's score/rank in JEST and/or CSIR-UGC NET.

For Chemical Sciences, the screening will be done on the basis of applicant's score/rank in CSIR-UGC NET and/or GATE.

For Life Sciences, the screening will be done on the basis of applicant's score/rank in CSIR-UGC NET/ BET/ GATE.

For Engineering Sciences, the screening will be done on the basis of applicant's score/rank in GATE.

RRCAT is a Constituent Institute of the "Homi Bhabha National Institute" (HBNI), a Deemed to be University with NAAC “A” grade. RRCAT invites students with appropriate qualifications to pursue Ph.D. program in various specialized areas of Physical, Chemical, Life and Engineering Sciences as listed above. As per the rules of HBNI, the Ph.D. program consists of course work of one-year duration and research work leading to Ph.D. thesis. The Ph.D. 2018 program will commence on 1st August 2018. DAE Research Fellowships will be offered to those selected for the pursuit of Ph.D. The present fellowship amount is 25,000 per month for the first two years (as Junior Research Fellow) and 28,000 per month for the subsequent three years (as Senior Research Fellow), subject to satisfactory yearly progress.

Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour (Nov. 26, 1870 – Dec. 25, 1949). by his lifetime saving. Selection Process for Fellow Programme in Management (Industry) 2019

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Personal Interview (PI). The selection process is as follows:

Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the academic eligibility criteria as mentioned above should submit their application online.

Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying Academic eligibility criteria will be called for the Personal Interview, to be conducted at IIM Indore during April 2019. The selection committee will assess the suitability of the candidates for research work based on the portfolio of the candidate and his/her performance in the interview. Final selection will be based on the requirements of the academic area to which the candidate has applied and an area-wise offer list will be prepared.

The committee in particular will look into a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments, research interest etc.

All matters pertaining to admission into the FPM at IIM Indore is governed by the decisions taken by the FPM (Industry) Admissions committee.
