Barkatullah University formerly known as Bhopal University was established in 1970 in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. In 1988 it was rechristened as Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, In the living memory of the great freedom fighter Prof. Barkatullah who belonged to Bhopal. Eligibility:

1.    Candidates for the admission to the PhD program for the academic session 2018-19 must, at the time of application, hold Master’s degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade of the University, / a deemed University or any other University incorporated by any law for the time being in force and recognized by the University. A candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to the award of a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy must possess at least one of the following qualifications:

1.    Medical qualification: MBBS/BDS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch in the subject concerned or Diplomate of National Board of Examination.

Candidates who have obtained any of these degrees from medical colleges which are not recognized by the Medical Council of India shall not be eligible to apply.

Jiwaji University Gwalior came into existence on May 23, 1964, through M.P. Govt. Ordinance no. 15 of 1963. How to Apply:

·         The student can apply for admission by filling application form online through the website or www.mponline.gov.in Payment for the application fees can be made through credit/debit card or by net-banking. Financial Assistance

Each student would be given a monthly fellowship of Rs.16,000/- in first and second year; Rs.19,000/- in third and fourth year during the programme. A contingency grant of Rs.35,000/- per year would also be provided.

Entrance Exam Pattern:

There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), of which, 25 questions will be from general science, aptitude, reasoning, computer applications etc. (1); the rest (i.e., 75 questions) will be from the subject botany.

The question paper shall consist of two sections-A and B. Section A shall consist of 25 questions on General Ability. The Question Paper consists of 100 objective type questions to test the candidates‟ knowledge in the following areas such as Accounting (20%), Auditing (20%), and Taxation (20%), Management (General) (20%), Banking and Insurance (10%), E- Commerce (10%) followed by personal interview.

Candidates having B.C.A/B.Sc./B.Com/B.A. degree with Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level or graduate level from a recognized Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) having secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in case of General and OBC categories and 45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are eligible to apply.

To pass the entrance exam conducted by the University the candidates belonging to General and OBC categories have to secure a minimum of 45% marks and candidates to belonging SC/ST categories have to score a minimum of 40% marks.

Entrance Exam Pattern:

The Question Paper consists of 100 objective type questions to test the candidates‟ knowledge in the domain subject of Computer Science.

How to Apply:

Information on Submission of Applications:

The Candidates are required to apply online through the website. They are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID and a mobile number. They should be kept active till the completion of the programme, if admission is granted. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, she/he should create a new e-mail ID before applying online. Candidates are required to upload their recent photograph and signature. Before applying online a candidate is required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature. Candidates can pay the application fee through Bank Challan. The Bank Challan is generated after filling the online application form and she/he can deposit the fees in the following University‟s account Number. State Bank of India through any nationalized Bank (NEFT mode) on the next working day. One day after the payment is made the candidate can take the print out of the application form by using the username and password. The applicants are requested to submit the application forms and required documents to the University at the time of admission.

Payment: Rs. 300/ for General/OBC and Rs. 100/-for SC/ ST/ PH along with the bank service charges

Important information for students

·         The students who have already finished their UG are not eligible for UG courses.

·         The students who have already finished their PG, are not eligible for PG courses.

Age limit:

Candidates seeking admission to all UG Programme shall not be more than 22 Years as on 1st July 2019. However, 05 years relaxation in the age limit is given to SC/ST/PWD students.Candidates seeking admission to all PG Programme shall not be more than 27 Years as on 1st July 2019. However, 05 years relaxation in the age limit is given to SC/ST/PWD students.

NOTE: No offline or postal mode of application is accepted.

The soft copy of the Prospectus-2019-20 is available at the University website. The hard copy of the Prospectus is available for sale only at the main campus of IGNTU, Amarkantak. Buying the hard copy of the Prospectus is optional and the same can be downloaded from the IGNTU website. The applicants should upload all necessary documents at the time of applying online. No need to post the same separately.
