Eligibility:

No candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Dental Curriculum of first Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course until:

1.     He /She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course

2.     He /She has passed qualifying examination as under

The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 higher secondary examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two year of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the competitive examination

In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST or any other categories notified by the Govt. the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in qualifying examination & competitive entrance examination be 40% instead of 50% as stated above

Provided that a candidate who has appeared in the qualifying examination the result of which has not been declared, he may be provisionally permitted to take up the competitive entrance examination and in case of selection for admission to the BDS course, he shall not be admitted to that course until he fulfils the eligibility criteria as per above regulations.

Pattern of UPCAT-Dental

All candidates should appear for the Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test (UPCAT-DENTAL)

The entrance examination will comprise of an objective type examination of 180 minutes duration containing 200 questions of 200 marks. There will be 50 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany

The syllabus for entrance examination will be as per the 10+2 examination (ICSE/CBSE/U.P. Board or equivalent)

The question paper will be given in English only

The candidate is required to answer 200 MCQs in 3 hours. Each question shall carry equal marks

All questions will be objective type with Multiple (1, 2, 3, 4) choice of which, only one will be the appropriate response and therefore the correct choice

Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. Zero marks shall be given to no response

There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer or more than one choice indicated against a question

Marking the OMR Answer Sheet

Answer Sheets are scanned by machine and scores computed. Accuracy in scoring is dependent on the examines marking their answer sheets properly and the completeness of their erasures when used

Therefore, accurate scoring is dependent on your strict adherence to the following procedures: Answer sheets have three parts: Part A, Part B and Part C

Part A is to be filled in with ink while Part B and Part C should be filled in with HB Pencil only

How to Apply:

A candidate seeking register to the Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test - UPCAT Dental is required to send his/her application on the prescribed application from only, appended in this UPCAT 2015 BDS Information Brochure

BDS Information Brochure will be available from 15th May 2015. A candidate must not fill and submit than one form for the examination

Application form and information brochure are available at all the private dental colleges running the BDS course under the association against payment of Rs.1500/- as examination/test fee

The Application form & OMR Sheet attached in information brochure should be filled correctly in candidates own handwriting and submitted to respective college latest by 15th May 2015

AIIMS PG Post Doctoral Courses Entrance Examination July 2015 Session

All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, announces PG Entrance Exam for MD, MS, M.Ch (6 Years), MDS, DM, M.Ch, MHA & Ph.D programmes for 2015 session.

The degrees granted by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Science Act are recognized Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be including in the first scheduled of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to be included in the first scheduled of that Act, entitling the holder to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized University of India.

Eligibility:

1.     DM/MCh

A Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS or DNB from a University recognized by the MCI

The candidate who are likely to complete 3 years requisite tenure and degree by 30th January, 2015 may also apply. However, the candidates who complete their 3 years requisite tenure after 30th January, 2015 are not eligible to take up this examination.

2.     MHA

The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application. 

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

3.     PhD

A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations. 

2. MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

4.     MD/MS/MDS

A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2015. The candidate who complete their internship after 30th January, 2015 are not eligible to take up this examination. 

The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure:

The prospectus is available on the website and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of online Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates).

A candidate can submit application only On-Line through Internet. Visit website read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank by the candidate.

Karnataka CET (Common Entrance Test) is a state level common entrance examination for the admission to the various UG courses offered by the institutions located within the limits of Karnataka state. The KCET 2015 will be conducted by the Karnataka University on the behalf of KEA (Karnataka Education Authority), Government of Karnataka. The students located in other states (excluding J&K migrants) are not eligible to appear the Karnataka-CET 2015 examination. It is also known as the CET Karnataka. 

KCET 2015 Offered Courses

K-CET 2015 is the gateway to various UG courses in various fields of education streams like engineering, medical, agriculture, architecture, pharmacy, technology, fisheries, home science and veterinary & animal husbandry. The K CET 2015 offers MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BNYMS, BE/B.Tech, B.HSc, B.Sc (forestry & Agri.), B.VSc and B.Pharm.

Eligibility

The candidates must be of age 17 years as on or before 31st December 2015. The candidates must be passed the 12th or PUC or equivalent examination from the state or central recognized board. The subjects and percentage is the subject to vary by the courses as the following:

·         Engineering & Technology – Must have 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCM.

·         Medical/Dental/Other – Must have 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCB with English.

·         Architecture – Must have 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) with Mathematics.

·         B.Sc (forestry & Agri.) & B.HSc – Must be passed with PCB.

·         B.Tech (Agri.) – Must be passed with PCM.

·         B.Pharm – Must have 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCM or PCB or D.Pharm.

·         B.Tech (Fisheries, dairy, food tech.) – Must be passed with PCMB.

The candidates must be the domiciled of Karnataka state or having a mother tongue as Kannada or having seven years academic background in institutions located in Karnataka. The J&K migrants may also apply for the examination.

How to Apply:

KCET 2015 Application Form

The application form will be available on the official website of the board from tomorrow as date 30th February 2015. The candidates may download the application form and fill all required details neat and correct. The application fee is Rs. 650/- for general candidates and Rs. 500/- for reserving categories and Rs 750/- for the candidates residing outside of the state and Rs. 5000/- for the candidates residing outside of the country. in any of the branch of Central Bank or Indian Bank or Axis Bank or State Bank of Mysore or Syndicate Bank or in any computerized e-Post Office. The bank / e-post office will retain bank copy / post office of the Challan respectively and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates.

·        Candidates who are appearing for final year,  semester of B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons),  BCA, BIT of minimum 3 years or BE, BTech in the academic year 2015-16 are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2015. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof (in the form of a certificate issued by the head of institution where the candidate has studied) that he, she is appearing for the examinations during the academic year 2015-16 and can submit the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET 2015 preferably at the time of Counseling, Admission but not later than 15th September, 2015, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled by the respective NITs. NIMCET 2015 will not reserve a seat to a candidate due to any reason claimed for not fulfilling the eligibility criteria including the delay in publishing the results by the concerned University, institute.

·        Students who have completed, completing degree BSc, BSc (Hons), BCA, BIT of 3 years from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their programme is approved by UGC, AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

·        The percentages of marks in qualifying degree are to be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in all the subjects studied in all the years including languages, optional and additional subjects studied, if any. The aggregate of all the subjects in all the years computed using this method of calculation alone be considered by NIMCET 2015 for deciding eligibility.

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test Tentatively on 21st  June, 2015 (Date likely to be changed) for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university / national laboratory / institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF’ OR for ‘Lectureship (LS) only’ He/she may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. CSIR may consider candidates for ‘JRF’, or ‘Lectureship only” depending on number of fellowships available & performance in the test subject to the condition that they fulfill the laid down eligibility criterion. If a candidate is found to be over-age for JRF (NET) he/she will automatically be considered for Lectureship (NET) only, except for Engineering Sciences. Engineering Sciences candidates will only be eligible for CSIR JRF ship and are advised to opt for JRF only in the application form. Candidates who qualify M.Sc. OR under M.Sc. RA category shall be eligible for LS in the subjects except Engineering Sciences, subject to the eligibility criteria as laid down by the UGC.

Two separate merit lists, one comprising the candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF - NET) and the second, of those candidates qualifying the Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET), will be made on the basis of their performance in the above Test. Candidates qualifying for JRF (NET), except Engineering Sciences will also be eligible for Lectureship (NET) subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. The candidates qualifying for Lectureship will be eligible for recruitment as Lecturers as well as for JRF-ship in a Scheme/Project, if otherwise suitable. However, they will not be eligible for Regular JRF-NET Fellowship. If a candidate is found to be overage for JRF (NET) he/she will automatically be considered for Lectureship-(NET) only. Candidates qualifying for the award of JRF (NET) will receive fellowship either from CSIR or UGC as per their assignment or from the Schemes with which they may find association. The candidates declared eligible for Junior Research Fellowship under UGC scheme and Lectureship will be governed by UGC rules/regulations in this regard.

The final result of this Single MCQ test may be declared sometime in the month of September/October, 2015 and fellowship to successful candidates will be effective from 1st Jan, 2016 with the validity period of 2 years for joining the fellowship under CSIR Scheme.

Eligibility:

1.     EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

BS-4 years program/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates).

 

Candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.

Such candidates will have to submit the attestation format (Given at the reverse of the application form) duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared.

BSc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for general and OBC candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, physically and visually handicapped candidates are also eligible to apply. Candidates with bachelor’s degree, whether Science, engineering or any other discipline, will be eligible for fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years.

The eligibility for lectureship of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only.

The candidates with the above qualification are advised to fill up their degree with percentage of marks in column No. 18 to 21, as applicable.

2.     AGE LIMIT& RELAXATION

For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01-01-2015 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants).

For LS (NET): No upper age limit.

The subject wise schedule of examination will be notified later on. The subject wise Schedule, date and timing of the Test is liable to be changed at the discretion of CSIR. To enable the candidates to go through the instructions printed on the OMR Answer Sheets and also to correctly fill up the required particulars in the said OMR Answer Sheet, the same will be distributed 15 minute before the schedule time of start of the examination. The question paper booklet shall be distributed 5 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam & candidates are permitted to take duplicate copy of their OMR Answer Sheet while leaving the exam venue. The actual number of questions in each part and section to be asked & attempted may vary from exam to exam.

Candidates should use only black ball point pen and not pencil to fill in their particulars in the OMR Answer Sheet/Question Paper Booklet and also to darken the appropriate circle to mark their answers in their OMR answer sheet. Candidates are not permitted to erase, scratch out or use whitener fluid/eraser fluid to change their answers in the OMR sheet otherwise that particular answer will not be evaluated.

The candidate opting for Hindi medium in the Application Form, will be given bilingual Question Booklet and Candidate opting for English medium including candidates in Engineering Sciences, will be given Question Booklet printed in English Version only. The candidate will be required to answer as per option exercised in the application Form.

 

4.     SYLLABUS OF THE TEST

The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam.

# Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects including Engineering Sciences. This part shall contain questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc.

# In Engineering Sciences, Part ‘B’ shall contain questions pertaining to Mathematics & Engineering Aptitude & Part ‘C’ shall contain subject related multiple choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics in the syllabus.

And for other disciplines:

# Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus.

# Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts

and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem.

# Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per subject wise scheme of Exam.

A candidate may opt for any of the above centres. No request for change of centre would ordinarily be granted. However, a request in writing for change of Centre may be entertained on merits, if received in this unit latest by 20.04.2015.If sufficient number of candidates do not opt for any of the above Centres, that particular Centre may stand deleted from the above list OR otherwise also, the concerned candidates may be allotted another Centre nearest to their place of residence, at the discretion of CSIR. No TA/DA will be admissible to any candidate for attending the test, in any circumstances.

7.     APPLY THROUGH ONLINE APPLICATION:

Interested & eligible candidates may apply Online through a link available at CSIR, HRDG website. In order to apply Online the candidates are required to download Bank challan Performa from the above website and then deposit the requisite examination fee in any of the Indian Bank branches throughout the country. Candidates after successfully submitting application online are required to take print out of the Application Form, paste his/her recent black & white photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach requisite certificates and send along with CSIR marked copy of fee deposited Bank Challan in an envelope super scribed with Subject Code, Centre Code & Medium Code to Sr. Controller of Examination, Human Resource Development Group, Examination Unit, CSIR Complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 so as to reach on or before 17.03.2015 (23.03.2015 for remote areas). Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available at CSIR, HRDG website.

Online applications without hard copy or bank challan receipt or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected. Candidates should note that successful submission of online application does not mean that they have been registered for this test. To ensure their candidature, candidates should check their registration status on our website tentatively between 15th May, 2015 - 20th May, 2015 and afterwards their request shall not be considered.

Examination fee paid through Bank Challan for a particular examination will neither be adjusted for any subsequent examination nor refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should also check all the columns of Bank Challan, online application, which are to be filled in properly to avoid cancellation of application, Please note that Fee submitted by any other mode like money order, demand draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

IN ORDER TO AVOID LAST MINUTES RUSH, THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO APPLY EARLY ENOUGH. CSIR WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NETWORK PROBLEM OR ANY OTHER SUCH TYPE OF PROBLEM.

8.     CANDIDATE SEEKING FEE CONCESSION

The candidate should attach an attested copy of his/her category certificate as a proof of his/her claim. An application form (through online), claiming any concession in fee, age & education qualification but without an attested copy of a valid SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH certificate from a competent authority and in prescribed format, will be summarily rejected.

Candidate must note that CSIR follows only Central Govt. lists and not state Govt. lists. Similarly, candidate applying under physically handicapped (PH)/ visually handicapped (VH) category may note that Govt. of India rules will be applicable in this regard, otherwise they shall not be eligible for any concession.

9.     THE LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:

The copy of online application form, duly completed with requisite enclosure should be sent by Ordinary post to the Sr. Controller of Examination, Examination Unit, Human Resource Development Group, CSIR Complex, Opposite Institute of Hotel Management, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi 110012 so as to reach Examination Unit CSIR on or before 17.03.2015.

For candidates applying from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshdweep, the application form must reach the Sr. Controller of Examination CSIR on or before 23.03.2015.

The candidates are advised in their own interest to apply early enough to ensure timely receipt of their applications by the Examination Unit on or before the closing date. CSIR shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit of the application.

All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi has announced the exam dates for Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2015), which will be conducted in May 2015. The MAT May paper based test will be held on Sunday, May 03, 2015 and computer based test will be conducted from Saturday, May 09, 2015 onwards.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and allied programs. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international can consider MAT exam scores as an admission input based on the score cards issued to the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for MAT May 2015:

·         Candidates should be graduates in any discipline.

·         Final year students of graduate courses can also apply.

Application Procedure for MAT May 2015:

Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply:

Register online at website card (ATM card). Or

Register online at website by making payment of Rs. 1200/- through net banking.

Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Or

Obtain form with MAT bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from listed Nodal Centres of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi.

1.     The candidate must be an Indian national

2.     A candidate, who holds MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by medical council of india (MCI) or a foreign medical degree included in the schedules of the Indian medical council act, 1956 and who has obtained permanent registration either from the medical council of India or any of the state medical councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized medical college.

3.     The candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from the medical colleges which are not recognized by MCI shall not be eligible.

4.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or equivalent foreign medical degree recognized by MCI, is undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2015.

5.     Those candidates who are undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2015 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.

6.     Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MDS

1.     The candidate must be an Indian national

2.     A candidate, who holds BDS degree from a dental college recognized by Dental council of India (DCI) and who has obtained full registration from the dental council of India or any of the state dental councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized dental college.

3.     The candidates who have obtained their BDS degree from the Dental colleges which are not recognized by DCI shall not be eligible.

4.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS recognized by DCI), is undergoing a 12 - month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2015.

5.     Those candidates who are undergoing 12 - month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2015 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.

6.     The cut off date for the registration of the Dental colleges from where the candidates have passed their BDS degree course and completed compulsory rotating internship/practical training for 2015 will be 31st October 2015. The dental colleges recognized after this date will not be considered.

7.     Registration with DCI/state Dental Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MD Ayurveda

1.     The candidate must be an Indian National

2.     A candidate, who holds passed BAMS degree from any Aurvedic college recognized by CCIM and who has registered from the CCIM to practice or any State Board after completing compulsory rotatory internship shall be eligible to appear in entrance examination.

3.     However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BAMS recognized by CCIM), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 30th June, 2015 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 30th June, 2015 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 30th June, 2015.

4.     Registration with CCIM/Indian Medicine Board is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

5.     The candidate must be an Indian national. Candidates should have a MBBS / BDS degree from any of the recognised Medical / Dental Colleges by the Medical / Dental Council of India. Candidates should have completed one year rotatory internship by 31st March 2015.
