The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET)-2011 for admission to Under-Graduate courses (MBBS/BDS) 85% quota will be held on Sunday, 22nd May 2011 at Delhi only. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.

Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course: The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows and Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP category) killed or disabled in action in wars 1947-48 onwards and wards of Ex-servicemen personnel and serving personnel of the Defence /Armed Forces and all Police Forces who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards, who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College only and have to come for Counselling. They would be offered admission to LHMC only on the basis of their merit in the DUMET-2011. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.

Note:

(i)    The Physically Handicapped candidates having disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70% are eligible and may apply as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India.

(ii)  In the event of all the seats reserved for PH category not being filled up from among the Physically Handicapped candidates with the above stipulated physical disability then the seats will be offered to the candidates within the physically disability of 40% to 50%.

How to Apply:

The application form along with Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 7th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi, in the following manner:

(i)    Sale of Bulletin of Information w.e.f. 24th January, 2011.

(ii)  BY HAND: for 750/- (Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General and OBC category candidates and 550/- (Five Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates between 09:30 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. on all working days from 24th January, 2011 to 07th March, 2011. No cash payment will be accepted.

(iii)BY POST: for 800/- (Eight Hundred only) for General and OBC category candidates and 600/- (Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates, along with a self addressed envelop of 12" X 10" upto 11th February 2011.

Note: SC/ST/PH candidates are requested to bring/send a copy of the Caste Certificate/PH Certificate for obtaining Bulletin of Information.

The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Applications Form may also be downloaded from our websites www.fmsc.ac.in and submit the same, duly filled in and complete in all respects with requisite Demand Draft, to the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 on or before 07th March, 2011 upto 03:00 P.M.

Note:

1.      The last date for receipt of request for supply of the application form along with BOI by POST is 11th February, 2011.

2.      The candidate should mention his/ her name, address and telephone number at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque.

3.       Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2011, GPAT 2011, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST-2011

(GPAT 2011)

 Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT-2011) is an all India examination conducted by The MS University of Baroda, Vadodara on behalf of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Admission to postgraduate programmes in pharmacy colleges/institutes with MHRD and other government scholarships/assistantships is open to those who qualify through GPAT. GPAT qualified candidates with Four years Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy are eligible for admission to Master/Doctoral programme in Pharmacy. To avail the scholarship, the candidate must secure admission to such a postgraduate programme, as per the prevailing procedure of the admitting institution. However, candidates with Master's degree in Pharmacy may seek admission to relevant PhD programmes with scholarship/ assistantship without appearing in the GPAT examination.

Eligibility for GPAT 2011-2012

Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates) and those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are eligible for appearing in GPAT-2011-2012 Examination.

Examination Structure

GPAT-2011-2012 Examination will be paper-pencil examination. It will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration containing 150 questions, each of three (03) marks. The question paper will consist of multiple choice objective questions only. Each question will have four choices for the answer. The candidates will have to mark the correct choice on an Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by darkening the appropriate bubble against each question. Three (03) marks will be awarded for each right answer and zero (00) marks for no attempts. One (01) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to Apply for GPAT 2011-2012

Application Submission Process The application fee is Rs 1000/- for General/OBC Category candidates and Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD* Category candidates. The application fee is inclusive of bank charges and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

AIMS Test for Management Admissions 2011, ATMA 2011, Association of Indian Management Schools

AIMS is an All India Association of Management Institutes and management departments of universities which brings together over 500 top management schools approved by AICTE. As a service to its member institutions, AIMS conducts the ATMA, a national test, which member Institutes can use for selection of students to the MBA / PGDM / PGDMB programmes. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE REGISTRATION

How to apply online for taking ATMA?

All students wishing to take the ATMA Test on 20th February 2011 must register online using the ID Code enclosed in the Bulletin and following the instructions given on page 5 of the Bulletin ATMA – 2011

The admission kit contains the following:

 

1.      Bulletin with information about ATMA.

2.      An adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover.

ü       When you purchase ATMA admission kit, you will be given a receipt by the sales centre. The same is required to be submitted to the invigilator at the time of examination along with the admit card.

ü       Inside the admission kit, there will be self adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover. For applying online, candidates should log on to ATMA www.atma-aims.org. The specimen online application form for ATMA with duly filled in data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the Annexure II of the bulletin. Please read it carefully before filling in the online application form which is provided on the website. Please download a copy of the filled up online application for your reference.

ü       Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the Form.
