Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has announced the exam dates for online AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA-2016), which will be conducted in July 2016. The ATMA online exam will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs offered at various institutes/universities for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for ATMA July 2016:

·         The minimum qualification required to attend the ATMA is graduation from any recognized institute.

·         There is no restriction for minimum marks or any particular stream of study.

·         The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years.

Application Procedure for ATMA July 2016:

·         Candidates can apply online.

·         The dates of payment/registration will be announced on the website after completion of the ATMA February test.

·         There are four options available to the candidate for making payment:

·         Through debit /credit card (Payment Gateway)

·         Through net Banking

·         Bank Transfer

·         By Cash through FCC/Distributor

Paper Pattern for ATMA July 2016:

·         ATMA contains six sections namely: Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Verbal Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills and Quantitative Skills.

·         Each objective type question will have four answers. The candidate will have to click the answer which he/she thinks correct.

·         Each correct answer receives one mark and there will be no marks for the question left unanswered. For each incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark will be deducted from the marks obtained.

AIMS is an All India Association of Management Institutes and management departments of universities which brings together over 500 top management schools approved by AICTE. As a service to its member institutions, AIMS conducts the ATMA, a national test, which member Institutes can use for selection of students to the MBA / PGDM / PGDMB programmes. Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is the national network of management schools. It represents Indian Management Schools in various national and international fora connected with Management Education. AIMS organises “AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA)" a standard test for admission to postgraduate management programme ATMA approved by AICTE, is focused on the student. It is designed to assess the aptitude for management education including verbal skills, quantitative skills and analytical reasoning of students.

HOW to APPLY for ATMA 2011 

Candidates desirous of taking ATMA should first collect online application bulletin, which will be available from ATMA office, at Panaji, Goa; AIMS office, Hyderabad; different IMS learning centres, Axis bank, Career forum, Cerebral heights, Career Launcher and AIMS member institutes across the country by paying Rs 900/- (Rs nine hundred only) in cash or by sending a demand draft for Rs 950/- (Rs nine hundred and fifty only) (includes postal charges) favouring ATMA payable at Panaji ATMA office, Mayfair, 1st floor, Dada Vaidya road, Panaji, Tel 0832-6515048, Email:-, (Please indicate your name, address, telephone/mobile number, on the reverse of the demand draft)


How to apply online for taking ATMA?

All students wishing to take the ATMA Test on 20th February 2011 must register online using the ID Code enclosed in the Bulletin and following the instructions given on page 5 of the Bulletin ATMA – 2011

The admission kit contains the following:


1.      Bulletin with information about ATMA.

2.      An adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover.

ü       When you purchase ATMA admission kit, you will be given a receipt by the sales centre. The same is required to be submitted to the invigilator at the time of examination along with the admit card.

ü       Inside the admission kit, there will be self adhesive sticker with Personal ID code affixed inside of the Bulletin front cover. For applying online, candidates should log on to ATMA The specimen online application form for ATMA with duly filled in data of a specimen candidate is enclosed in the Annexure II of the bulletin. Please read it carefully before filling in the online application form which is provided on the website. Please download a copy of the filled up online application for your reference.

ü       Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the Form.


Candidates are requested to down load their admit cards from the ATMA by entering the personal ID Code & Date of birth.
