Eligibility for University of Delhi

·         The candidate should have passed or have appeared in March, April 2015 in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.

·         The General Category candidates should secure an aggregate of atleast 60% marks in his, her XII class examination in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by University of Delhi. Minimum percentage of marks for OBC is 54%, for SC, ST pass marks in qualifying examination, for PwD 55%, for CW 55%. Other conditions are same as for the General Category.

·         The candidate should have obtained pass mark in each of the four considered for computing the aggregate.

·         The candidate must produce the confirmed result Marksheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the Group Discussion and personal Interview to be eligible for the process of admission to the BMS, BBA programs.

·         Candidates who do not have the confirmed result and Marksheet of the qualifying examination must be produced on the day of the counselling.

Selection process:

·         Admission will be jointly based on marks scored in the qualifying board and the entrance exam.

·         Candidates who clear the entrance exam will face Group Discussion and Personal Interview (Only for BBA, BMS). For BA (Hons) Business Economics, there won’t be any interview round.

·         The mark-sheet of their qualifying exam must be produced on the Group Discussion & Interview day. As for students applying to BA Hons. (Business Economics), the mark-sheet should be produced on the day of the counselling.

·         One course: Rs 600/-

Scheduled Caste,Tribe:

·         All courses: Rs 500/-

Foreign students:

Application processing fee for foreign students shall be as per Delhi University rules and guidelines.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune has announced the exam dates for B-MAT-II, which will be conducted in June 2015. The B-MAT will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2015.

B-MAT-II is conducted for admission to 2 years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource, Financial Market and dual specialization MBA programs for the session 2015-16.

Eligibility Criteria for B-MAT-II 2015:

·         Candidates should be a graduate with bachelor or master’s degree from any discipline who has passed with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.

·         The candidates in the final year degree (bachelors or masters) are also eligible to apply.

·         The candidate should be an Indian national.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for B-MAT-II 2015:

Cost of brochure is Rs. 200/- (Rs. 400/- by post). Entrance test fee is Rs. 1500/-.

Paper Pattern for B-MAT-II 2015:

The B-MAT 2015 test will consist of in all 200 marks. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions one mark each with four alternatives with only one correct or most appropriate answer. There is no negative marking. The break-up off marks will be as follows:

PPMET 2015 for Admission to B.Sc Nursing Courses Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot conducts Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test - PPMET 2015 for seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing Course in the various Nursing colleges in Punjab affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for the academic session 2015-16

Eligibility Criteria: 

He, She has passed qualifying examination as under:

a.     The Higher Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Exam after a period of 12 years study,  the last two years of study comprising of Physics,  Chemistry & Biology after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years education structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education; (or)

b.     The intermediate exam in Science of an Indian University, Board or other recognized examining body with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject; (or)

c.      The Pre-professional, pre-medical exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology,  after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or an equivalent exam; the pre-professional, premedical examination shall include a practical test in Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English as compulsory subject; (or)

d.     The first year of the three year degree course of a recognized university with Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the exam is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course; (or)

e.     B.Sc exam of an Indian University,  provided that he, she has passed the B.Sc exam with not less than two of the following subjects-Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he, she has passed the earlier qualifying exam with the following subjects: Physics,  Chemistry and Biology and English; (or)

f.       Any other exam which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate Science exam of an Indian University, Board, taking Physics,  Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English

Age Limit:

Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years, on or before 31st December 2015 of the corresponding year

Candidates should have studied during his, her 10+1 and 10+2 examination or other qualifying examination in place of 10+2, as listed in 4 (A) (i) (a) to (f) above,  as candidate from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab only except for the exemptions wherever applicable

Reservation:

a.     For Govt., University College: The reservation in the State quota seats in Govt. Institutions in various categories for admission to the under Graduate Para Medical Courses will be as under:

(i) SC - 25%; (ii) BC (Note: The backward class certificate must be as per the latest instructions of the Govt. of Punjab): 05%; (iii) Backward Area, Border Area (1% each): 02%; (iv) PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped (disability 50% to 70% ) to be determined at the time of counseling by a duly constituted board of the specialty of Orthopaedics): 03%; (v) Sports Persons (Credit will be given for the sports achievements made during 10+1, 10+2 classes only): 01% (vi) Wards of terrorist, riot affected persons (in order of preference to the exclusion of next category): 01%

b.     Private Colleges: The institutions who are allowed to admit only girls will obey the Govt orders; the reservation in private institutes (in Govt, Mgmt quota seats) will be as under:

Fee required with online application form:

Rs.4500, - for General Category (Rs. 2250, - for SC categories only) be deposited in any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce throughout India by using Bank challan form which is generated after applying online through University website due date and time

D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai has announced the exam dates for All India Entrance Test (AIET), which will be conducted in May 2015. AIET will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015.

AIET is conducted for taking to admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programs for the session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for AIET 2015:

·         Candidates must be Indian national.

·         Candidate should have passed HSC (10 + 2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for all categories of backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) for admission to MBBS/ BDS.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for AIET 2015:

·         Candidates can apply online.

·         The fee for the entrance test is Rs. 2,500/-. The fee is payable by cash/ demand draft drawn in favour of “D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai”, on a nationalized /scheduled bank, payable at Navi Mumbai.

·         The demand draft MUST be dispatched to The Coordinator: AIET 2015, All India Entrance Test, Admission Cell D. Y. Patil University Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyanagar, Sector 7, Nerul, Navi Mumbai-400706.

Paper Pattern for AIET 2015:

·         The AIET 2015 will be of three hours duration.

·         There will be one question paper at the entrance test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark.

·         There is no negative marking.
