Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has announced the exam dates for online AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA-2018), which will be conducted in January 2018

The ATMA online exam will be held in January 2018. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs offered at various Institutes/Universities for the academic session 2018

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required to attend the ATMA is graduation from any recognised institute. There is no restriction for minimum marks or any particular stream of study.

The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in both modes, i.e. online and offline (pen & paper). It is a computer based multiple-choice question type exams. Each question will have 4 choices or options, out of which you have to choose 1 correct option

The duration of ATMA is 180 minutes or 3 hours; there are 3 areas which are divided into six sections. This means that each area will have 2 sections each

The testing areas are Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills; each section has 30 questions, making the total number of questions 180

For each correct answer, 1 mark is given and for each incorrect answer 0.25 mark is deducted from the score

How to Prepare for ATMA 2018 MBA Entrance exam

Most of the candidates (graduates or final year graduate course) who appear for ATMA may have taken other tests that aim at selection for management education or studied for similar tests

The preparation for ATMA should not be similar to that of College and University Exams. However, familiarity with aptitude tests, diligence and regular preparation can improve the speed. AIMS does not recommend any particular preparatory course or training for ATMA, though these may be effective in varying degrees

Exam Centres for ATMA 2017 MBA Entrance exam

Normally, ATMA is conducted in about 30 Cities in India. The following ATMA Test centre are: Ahmedabad (Gandhi Nagar), Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nagur, Nasik, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi and Thane.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online and pay application fee either through online payment or bank account transfer; the ATMA registration form/application form will ask you to fill details such as name, educational qualification, contact details, choice code of institutes.

Application Fee Rs.1100/- Plus 18% GST, i.e., Rs.1100+198=1298/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred and Ninety-Eight only) 

The candidate should fill his/her details like Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the On-line Fee Payment form (Important: You should write correct mail ID and date of Birth)

After successful registration for the test, the candidate should take two printouts of the filled-in Application (Registration Form).

You will receive an auto-generated mail to your email address which has the login credentials for the candidate i.e. username and password.

By using her/his login credentials, s/he can print the filled in registration form or admit card or test result. Hard copy of the test result will not be sent unless otherwise specifically requested for.

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) each year to offer admission to aspirants in hospitality and hotel administration programmes. NCHMCT is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. NCHMCT was established in 1982.

By clearing NCHMCT JEE 2018, candidates can secure admission in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 19 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, one Public Sector Undertaking and 14 Private Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT. Apart from this, a total of nine Food Craft Institutes offer Diploma programmes in specific hospitality related operational areas, through the Council. All these colleges offer standardised course curriculum as prescribed by NCHMCT for the various programmes that they offer. Talking about the courses offered by the colleges, the official website of NCHMCT states: “Through the Council, these institutes offer 10 different professional programmes leading to award of Certificate, Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor and Master Degree. The BSc and MSc programmes are offered in collaboration withIndira Gandhi National Open University – IGNOU”. As per the NCHMCT JEE brochure, the Council, till date has trained approximately 80,000 Hospitality Managers, Executives and other operational personnel.

NCHMCT JEE 2018 exam dates have not been declared yet. However, last year the exam was conducted on April 29, 2017. 

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Eligibility

Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 if they cleared their 10+2 or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects studied. Apart from this, candidates will meet the eligibility criteria for NCHMCT JEE only if they have secured passing marks in English (core/elective/functional) in their qualifying examination.

Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent exam are also eligible to appear for NCHMCT JEE 2018 on provisional basis. However, admissions offered on provisional basis will stand cancelled if the candidate fails to submit proof of clearing the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by September 30, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria on the basis of which candidates can apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018 are as follows:

Qualifying Examinations for Indian Students

Candidates are eligible to apply for NCHMCT JEE if they have cleared any of the below mentioned qualifying examinations:

• Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognised Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education
• Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised institution
• General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University
• Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education
• HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state
• Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects

NCHMCT JEE 2018: Age Limit & Seat Reservation

General and OBC Categories

The upper age limit for candidates from this category is 22 years as on July 1, 2018. Candidates born on or after July 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for NCHMCT.

SC/ST categories

The upper age limit for candidates is 25 years as on July 1, 2018. SC/ST candidates born on or after July 1, 1993 are eligible to apply for NCHMCT.

Physically Challenged

The upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to, that is, General/SC/ST/OBC.

The Date of Birth (DoB) as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate of candidates shall be accepted. This certificate needs to be presented by candidates in original at the time of counselling, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counselling/admission.

NCHMCT JEE 2018: Reservation of Seats

Candidates falling under the below mentioned categories are offered reservation for admissions on the basis of NCHMCT JEE rank:

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe

In NCHMCT JEE, 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST category candidates respectively. This reservation is offered to candidates in Central and State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. Vacant seats in these categories shall not be filled by candidates belonging to any other category.

OBC Candidates

Around 27% seats are reserved for OBC (Non creamy layer) category candidates in Central Institutes of Hotel Management. Here, one needs to note that OBC candidates belonging to the creamy layer are not entitled for any reservation. Seats remaining vacant in this category shall be filled by General Category candidates, as per Hon’ble Supreme Court ruling.

Document required to claim reservation

Candidates, who want to apply for admissions under any of the reservation categories in NCHMCT JEE 2018, need to furnish their caste certificate issued by a competent authority.

• SC, ST & OBC category issued by District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate/City Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/ Presidency Magistrate/Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar/Sub-Divisional Officer of the area / Administrator/Secretary to Administrator/Development Officer (Lakshadweep Island) where the candidate and/or his/her family normally resides.

Certificate issued by any other authority will not be accepted. Candidates are required to produce the original Caste Certificate along with attested copy at the time of Counselling as well as at the time of admission at the Institute.

Physically Disabled (PD)

Around 3% seats (in every category) are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates in all Central & State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. The official website states: “For any category of disability (viz. locomotors, visual, dyslexia, speech, and /or hearing) benefit would be given to those who have at least 40% physical impairment”.

Reservation for Kashmiri Migrant (Subject to notification from Ministry of HRD for academic session 2016-2018)

One seat (Supernumerary) in each Central and State Government affiliated IHM is reserved for Registered Kashmiri Migrants. Such applicants were said to be eligible to qualify for NCHMCT JEE 2018.

How to Apply:

NCHMCT JEE 2018 Process

Admission through NCHMCT JEE will strictly be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the All India (Written Test) JEE. Based on marks scored by a candidate in NCHMCT JEE, he/she will be allotted an All India Rank (AIR). No group discussion or personal interview round is conducted for shortlisting candidates. So, admission is offered only on the basis of NCHMCT JEE merit and rank.

Step 1: Apply for NCHMCT JEE 2018

 NCHMCT JEE 2018 application form is available online on the official website of National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates can submit their application form for NCHMCT JEEexam either online on by hand. 

Step 2: Download NCHMCT JEE Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website of NCHMCT JEE 2018 from April 2018 onwards. One copy of NCHMCT JEE Admit Card, which is duly attested by Gazetted Officer/Head of Institution last attended/Bank Manager of scheduled Bank/Area Post Master, has to be deposited with the invigilator for his/her signature. The admit card needs to be preserved by the candidate and produced at the time of Counselling, whereas, the second copy of the Admit Card is to be deposited at the examination centre.

Step 3: Appear for NCHMCT JEE

Candidates need to appear for the NCHMCT JEE exam as per the schedule and exam centre mentioned on their admit card. NCHMCT JEE 2018 is a three hour duration exam which consists of questions from five subjects which are - Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector.

Step 4: Check NCHMCT JEE Result

Aspirants need to check their results for the written entrance exam on the official website of NCHMCT JEE. Candidates can check their results by filling in their roll number and date of birth.

Step 5:  Appear for NCHMCT JEE Counselling

At the time of counselling, the eligibility of candidates for admission is checked and their documents are verified. The NCHMCT JEE 2018 counselling fee is Rs 1000. Apart from this, candidates are asked to pay their counselling as well as first semester fee. At the time of NCHMCT JEE Counselling, candidates need to mention their college preference for admission on the basis of their AIR. The allotment of college through counselling will be done on the basis of merit (AIR) and choice (of Institute) exercised by the candidate.

The official website of NCHMCT JEE informs: " Change of Written Test Centre within a city will not be considered. Under exceptional circumstances, change of centre may be permitted if an application with valid reasons for the change of centre is received in the JEE Cell on or before April 15, 2018 along with non-refundable fees of Rs 1000 through Demand Draft drawn in favour of NCHMCT, payable at Delhi/NOIDA. The National Council for Hotel Management reserves the right to reject such request in case the test centre is not in a position to accommodate any extra candidate".

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS),Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007. Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. The test is conducted in around 60 cities [see list] (over 100 venues) across India. The brochure gives the detailed procedure for applying for the test, syllabus of the test and various dead lines.


Candidates must qualify all four eligibility criteria listed below:

Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after August 01, 1998. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ Physically Disabled (PD) candidates.

Class XII qualifying examination should be passed in either 2016 or 2017. Candidates appearing in 2018 are also eligible. (Where only Letter Grade is given by the Board, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required. In the absence of such a certificate the decision of the respective Admission Committees will be final.)

At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%.

Candidate should secure a position in the NEST merit list.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be consisted of one paper only comprising in 5 sections and each section comprise in 60 questions and each question will carry one mark. Section one will be compulsory for all while section 2 to 5 will be from subjects as physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Only three highest scored sections will be considered for merit calculation. There will be negative marking in sections 2 to 5. The mode of language will be English only.

You are advised to visit the NEST–2018 website ( and read the NEST 2018 brochure carefully before starting the application process. Here are the salient points of the application procedure.

1. Register yourself at the website. You need a valid email id to do so. Click the ‘Apply Online’ link on the NEST–2018 website to reach the online application page on/after 01st January, 2018. You need to provide your name, a valid email-id and a password of your choice in window. 

1. You will receive an email at the email-id provided by you, containing a link to confirm your registration. Click that link to confirm your registration. After confirmation, in window. 

2., provide the same email-id & password, enter the secret code and click on ‘Login’. The application process allows multi-session data entry. You can login to your application profile as many times as you wish, using the same login details. If you forget your password then click ‘forgot password’ link to retrieve your password. For safety reasons you are allowed to retrieve the password only twice.

2. Application process – Page 1: Fill/Edit Form (Basic Information of the candidate) Page 1 of the application process asks for personal information, choice of exam centres and academic details. You are required to furnish details of qualifying board examinations of Xth and XIIth standards. If your board provides CGPA instead of percentage then calculate the ‘equivalent percentage’ as per the guideline given by your board. Typically, CGPA is multiplied by 9.5 to convert it to ‘equivalent percentage’ value. For example, if your CGPA is 8.1 then your equivalent percentage is 76.95% (8.1x9.5). Please note, NEST committee takes the final decision on this conversion factor. Fill all other mandatory fields, save and proceed to the next page. The next page will show your newly generated application number. Your application number is important for all future communications with NEST office till you take admission to the programme.

3. Application process – Page 2: Upload (photo and signature) In page 2 of the application process you are required to upload JPG files of your passport size photograph and signature. Scan your passport size photograph & your signature and save them as JPEG files with sizes of maximum 100 KB each. Make sure that images are properly cropped. DO NOT LEAVE empty spaces around photo or signature. If your photograph and signature appear too small in the preview, that is probably because of improper cropping. Crop properly without leaving empty spaces around and upload again. You are strongly advised to follow the detailed instruction provided there. You may, however, choose to provide them in next login, in case you are not ready with them. In that case you can logout and return later.

4. Application process – Page 3: Make Payment Page 3 of the application process provides two online payment gateways (as per the ‘Fee structure’ given in section-II) among which you need to choose one.

Online payment: Convenient, paper-less option for payment using any Credit/Debit card or through Net banking without visiting any bank. Online payment is possible through TechProcess / SBIe-Pay payments gateways. The charges for cards/netbanking of different banks are given in the payment page. SBI-e-Pay payment gateway provides 3 chances (max) for each application number to retry payment against failed transactions. However, there is no such limit for TechProcess payment gateway. The amount debited for failed transactions will be refunded automatically within 7 days. Contact technical support (0674-2494360) if amount has been deducted and website failed to redirect to NEST page after payment was made. Payment status can be updated only if your transaction was SUCCESSFUL. The fee structure is outlined on next page.

5. Application process – Page 4: Verify all information on the application preview page and Submit Once all the mandatory fields in pages 1 through 3 are provided, including photograph & signature, a single page preview of your application is generated. The page contains your photograph, signature along with other important information. If you want to change any information you need to logout and re-login. For safety reasons you are not allowed to visit the previous pages directly using browser backspace button. Verify and confirm if all information on the preview page is correct and the photograph and the signature are properly visible. Once satisfied, submit your application. 2 / 2 Please remember that once submitted, NEST office immediately receives your data. You are not allowed to further edit any information.

6. Take printout of the application summary page (optional). Once you submit your application, a summary page is being generated and made available to print directly. You may keep one copy for future references. However, you are NOT required to send any document to NEST office (initiative). You can login to your application account and track updates on your application/payment after 3 working days. Once NEST office verifies your candidature, your ADMIT CARD will be generated and made available for download. In case you face any difficulty or need any guidance at any stage, please send an email to NEST mailing address stating clearly the problem(s) encountered. Telephone calls regarding filling of applications will not be entertained.

HITSEEE 2018 Eligibility

BTech Programmes:

Aspirants seeking admission to Hindustan University's B.Tech degree programme should have passed the Higher Secondary examination (12th) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or equivalent.

Please note that improvement mark will not be considered.

After candidates have successfully registered for Pearl Academy entrance exam 2018, they will be provided with an admit card which is a mandatory document that they need to carry to their exam centre. Aspirants are informed that they need to download their Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2018 admit card from the official website. No separate admit card will be sent to students by post. FDDI AIST 2018 Process

Aspirants need to go through the admission process steps listed out by FDDI very carefully so that they do not make any error while seeking admission at this design college.

Step 1: Filling FDDI AIST application form

To apply for the exam, candidates need to fill the FDDI entrance exam application form in the online mode on the official website of the college. 

While filling FDDI AIST 2018 application form, candidates can even apply for more than one course in a single admission form. Elaborating on this further, the official website informs that a candidate can apply for multiple UG courses in one form and same is the case when one is applying for PG courses. However, if an aspirant wishes to apply for both UG as well as PG courses then he/she will have to fill two separate online registration forms. Candidates can pay FDDI AIST 2018 application fee in the online mode via debit/ credit card.

Step 3: Appearing for FDDI AIST 2018

FDDI entrance question paper consists of objective type questions. FDDI AIST is a two and a half hour duration computer based test. To understand the exam pattern better, candidates are advised to go through FDDI entrance exam sample papers.

Step 4: Declaration of FDDI Entrance Exam Result

FDDI AIST results will be announced on June 30, 2018. The All India Merit List for FDDI entrance exam 2018 will be made on the basis of FDDI AIST results.

Step 5: Appearing for FDDI Counselling

After the result for FDDI entrance exam is declared, shortlisted candidates have to appear for the counselling round. In this step, selected candidates will be given the option to select the programme as well as FDDI campus of their choice. However, here the thing to note is that candidates can only select the programme/campus which is available to them as per their rank. In the counselling round, candidates will have to specify their course/campus preference on the basis of the FDDI AIST merit list.

Any candidate who is offered a seat after the counselling round at FDDI will have to pay an (initial) amount of Rs 5,000 to reserve the course seat. Xavier General Management Aptitude Test (XGMT) is an online exam conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB). The entrance test is a gateway for admission to various MBA programs offered at The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB). A list of the MBA programs offered is as follows:

The candidate must hold a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, and must have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate (60% for MBA-UMG), from a recognised University

The candidate should have appeared, and must have secured a valid score in XAT 2018, CAT 2017, GMAT taken in 2016 or 2015 (minimum applying score 550), or XGMT 2018

GATE scores can be accepted for MBA-UMG only

Candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in their undergraduate program can apply directly to MBA-RM and the MBA-UMG programs, without having a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/XGMT score. Along with the application, the candidate needs to attach a certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their position. However, the candidate will have to attend the Personal Interview

Admission of candidates who fail to complete all the requirements for obtaining degree before June 15, 2018 will automatically be cancelled

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

XGMT aspirants need to fill the application form to be able to appear for the exam. The application fee can be filled only in online mode. The additional fee for XGMT is Rs 1000. (Application fee is Rs.1500/- for the first option, and Rs.700/- each for the subsequent options. Use single form for applying for multiple programs and/or through multiple tests.) Once the candidate pays the fee, he/she will receive a confirmation via e-mail. 

Step 2: Download XGMT 2018 Admit Card

Candidates who register successfully for the exam will be allotted admit cards. Candidates must keep in mind that the admit card is an important document that needs to be carried to the exam hall. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Xavier University Bhubaneswar. 

Step 3: Appear for XGMT 2018

The schedule for XGMT 2018 has not been scheduled yet. However, the exam is expected to be conducted in January, 2018. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes, and candidates will have to answer MCQs based on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Emotional Quotient and General Awareness.

XGMT 2018 results are expected to be declared within a month from the date of exam. The result will be displayed on the official website, and test-takers can access the same by visiting the official website. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the same.

Test-takers who clear the exam will be called to attend the Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview rounds. The final selection of students will be done on the basis of the scores obtained in the entrance test/National level exams, WAT & PI. Candidates must note that there is no group discussion round.

CLAT 2018 Eligibility

CLAT 2018 eligibility criteria requires candidates to fulfill multiple aspects so that they can apply and thereafter appear for this law entrance exam. Candidates would be eligible to apply for CLAT 2018 if they have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of:

Forty Five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/Specially abled persons categories

Forty percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/STcategory.

Also, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Earlier, BCI had introduced age limit criteria for CLAT exam. However, now Supreme Court has directed BCI to remove the age limit criteria. 

CLAT 2018 Process

CLAT is a national level examination which candidates need to clear, in order to secure admissions at 18 NLUs in India. CLAT exam was made online in 2015, thus, every aspect of the exam right from application stage to the counseling process will be done online.

CLAT 2018 Pattern

This law entrance exam will be of two hours duration. CLAT 2018 will be an online exam which will comprise of 200 multiple choice questions which candidates need to attempt to get shortlisted for admissions into the various participating law institutions. Candidates will be evaluated out of 200 marks in CLAT. The exam paper will comprise of questions from different areas of law such as:

Step 1: Fill CLAT 2018 Application Form

Candidates can apply for CLAT exam on the official website for CLAT 2018. No hard copy of CLAT Application Form and Information Brochure will be sold to a candidate under any circumstance.

Step 2: Download CLAT 2018 Admit Card

Candidates can download their CLAT Hall-Ticket/Admit Card through their Login Account which they have to create at the time of registration. Candidates need to take the printout of their CLAT 2018 Admit Card and carry the same to the Examination Hall.

Step 3: Give CLAT 2018 Exam

CLAT 2018 will be a two hour exam. Candidates will have to give CLAT as an online exam. Subjects covered in the exam would include English including Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

Step 4: Check CLAT 2018 Result

As per the CLAT exam dates, the results for CLAT 2018 will be published on the official website. CLAT results will comprise of an overall merit list with names of candidates along with their CLAT scores and categories. Apart from this, state specific as well as all India merit lists shall be prepared for various categories like – Unreserved/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ PWD etc. Candidates can view their CLAT results through their personal Login Account.

Step 5: Appear for CLAT 2018 Counselling

The Counselling for CLAT 2018 will be conducted online after the results for the exam are announced. Candidates shortlisted for counselling will have to appear for online counselling to fill seats available in the participating NLUs. Candidates can take part in online counselling through their personal login account. Candidates need to pay Rs 50,000 as fee for counselling either online or offline by means of bank challan on the official website.

CLAT 2018 marking scheme: For every correct answer in CLAT 2018, candidates will be awarded one mark. However, for every wrong option selected by candidates, 0.25 marks will be deducted. 

CLAT 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus for CLAT 2018 for UG course admissions as mentioned on the official website for the exam is as follows:

Section 1: English including comprehension

In this section, the proficiency in English will be tested on the basis of questions related to comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their understanding of the passage, the central theme, meanings of words used in the passage etc. The grammar section requires correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.

Section 2: General Knowledge and Currents Affairs

In this section, candidates will evaluated on the basis of their general awareness including static general knowledge. Similar current affairs questions will test a candidate’s knowledge of current affairs. Candidates need to be up-to-date with news and other topics discussed in mainstream media from March 2016 to April 2018.

Section 3: Mathematics

In this section, candidate’s knowledge on elementary Mathematics, that is, Maths taught up to Class X will be tested.

Section 4: Legal Aptitude

In this section, a candidate’s aptitude or interest in law, research aptitude as well as problem solving abilities will be tested.

The official website states: “Questions in this section will be framed with the help of legal propositions and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be “true” in the real sense (e.g. the legal proposition may be that any person who speaks in a movie hall and disturbs others that are watching the movie will be banned from entering any movie theater across India for one year). Candidates will have to assume the “truth” of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly”.

Section 5: Logical Reasoning

In this section, a candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links as well as rectify illogical arguments will be evaluated. This section of CLAT 2018 will include logical reasoning questions along the lines of syllogisms, analogies, logical sequences, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

Candidates can purchase CLAT sample papers from the official website of the exam during registration process, so that they can be better acquainted with CLAT 2018 exam pattern. 

CLAT 2018 Admit Card

CLAT admit card is released on the official website of the national level law entrance exam. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted on a rotational basis by National Law Universities (NLUs). Aspirants can download their admit card for CLAT exam by logging into the official website using their registered account.

CLAT 2018 admit card/hall ticket will only be issued for those students who have duly filled and submitted their application form. Candidates need to note that the admit card/hall ticket is an extremely important document for the national level law entrance exam. No aspirant will be allowed to appear for CLAT 2018 exam if they are not carrying a valid hall ticket on the day of the examination.

Selection Procedure for MICAT PGDM-C 2018 

The Selection Process will be twice in one academic year and selection process twice - in December-January and Feb-March - we intend to provide more opportunities to MICA aspirants 

In addition, by conducting the GE-PI process in four cities, we aim to increase MICA's reach for aspirants from different parts of the country, while also reducing costs and stress levels for aspirants 

Selection Process for (Batch 2018-20) 

Step 1: Each candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT (2016 onwards) 

Step-II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT) 

All the candidates are assessed on MICAT which consists of 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA), Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT) 

Step-III: GE & PI: All the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT* & MICAT shall appear for both GE & PI

Exam Pattern 

MICAT will be an online examination, wherein applicants’ knowledge will be tested on the following:

How to Apply: 

Application Procedure for MICA PGDMC 2018 

To apply for the exam, candidates need to fill-up the registration form and pay the test fees online ( 

Candidates need to register and enter details for the online application form. Post those candidates have to pay the fees. After successful registration, aspirants will receive an email containing the MICA ID and MICA password. This MICA ID will be used for all future correspondence. One can also use this MICA ID and MICA password to modify details online 

Test Fees 

All the candidates intending to apply for MICA Admission Test 2018 will have to remit a non-refundable application fees of Rs.1965/- (for all the categories) 

Mode of Payment 

Candidates can choose to pay via the following methods: 

Cash at SBI Bank: Aspirants need to take a print out of the SBI bank Challan. This Challan has three parts. After paying the test fees at an SBI Bank branch in your city, the bank will return two parts of the stamped Challan 

Keep one receipt with you. Sign the stamped MICA copy of the Pay-in-slip and send it to the Collection Centre at "Admissions Office, MICA, Shela, Ahmedabad-380058" 

Online Payment through Credit Card: Aspirants can choose directly through Master or Visa Card online. Just follow the instructions given on official website after choosing credit card option
