Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) was established in 1992 as an autonomous Institute. Today Symbiosis Institute of International Business is a constituent of Symbiosis International University and is counted as one of the top MBA schools in the country. Accreditation of Symbiosis International University:

In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the "Deemed to be University" status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International University (SIU). SIU is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade.

Later in July 2000 the Government of India on the recommendation of University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education brought three more institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University vide their notification No. F-9-15/95-4-3 dated 28th July, 2000. 

The University Grants Commission vide their Letter No. F.No. 3-2/90 (CPP-1) dated 17th August 2002, have agreed to bring two more research institutions within the ambit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. During the year 2004, a Medical College at Sangli and a Dental College at Navi Mumbai have also been brought No. F. 9-7/2004-U.3 within the ambit of this University by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India vide its notification dt. 19th August, 2004.

BBA (LLB) [5 Years Integrated Programme] Admission 2017

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for BBA LLB [5 Years Integrated Programme] in Symbiosis Law School, SLS, Pune

The candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) standard examination from any government­ recognized board with minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. / S.T. students) in one attempt (No Compartment / Supplementary). Students who have appeared for their H.S.C finals and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.

Applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the Law Course.

Age Limit: 

Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET-­2017). (2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates i.e. they should not be more than 22 years of age on the specified date).

Eligibility:

Eligibility and Selection Procedure for MSc in Economics in Symbiosis School of Economics, SSE, Pune

Any graduate with exposure to Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Engineering from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST categories) is eligible

Students appearing for final year examinations can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST categories) at qualifying examination

Reservation of seats: The following will be reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian Students

SC-15%, ST-7.5%, Differently abled 03%, Kashmiri migrants 02 over and above programme intake

Intake Procedure: Students will be selected on the basis of academic merit, Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT)

Sanctioned Intake: 40 students

Policy of admission against vacant seats under reserved category: In case some seats remain vacant due to the non availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations then the information about the vacant seats will be reported to Symbiosis International University
