Amity University, Noida has announced the exam dates for Amity Joint Entrance Examination (Amity JEE 2018), which will be conducted in April 2018. The Amity JEE exam will be held in the 25 April - 10 May 2018. Examination is conducted on different dates for different states.

Amity JEE is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs under various specializations for the academic session 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Amity JEE 2018:

Candidate should have passed class X & XII with minimum 60% and minimum 70% in PCM for non-sponsored & 65 % for sponsored category.

Applicants are advised to choose the exam centre and exam date by logging on to admission microsite.

Paper Pattern for Amity JEE 2018:

Amity JEE is a OMR based test held in various cities across the country. Questions are based on CBSE XII syllabus with options to attempt papers in either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.

All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Total number of questions in one set are 90 with maximum time limit 120 min. Number of questions in each section will be as mentioned below:

No marks would be awarded if more than one choice has been selected for any question.

Approximately 1.25 minute per questions on the average are reserved for solution of each questions.

Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) has announced the exam dates for online AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA-2018), which will be conducted in January 2018

The ATMA online exam will be held in January 2018. ATMA is conducted for taking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs offered at various Institutes/Universities for the academic session 2018

AIMS offer the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), as a credible, Comprehensive and Single Window Test for admission to different Postgraduate Management Programmes.

About 200 high ranking institutions accept ATMA Scores for selection to PGDM, PGDBA, MBA, MCM, MCA* (subject to local regulations) and other Postgraduate Management Courses

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required to attend the ATMA is graduation from any recognised institute. There is no restriction for minimum marks or any particular stream of study.

The minimum age limit for taking the test is 21 years

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in both modes, i.e. online and offline (pen & paper). It is a computer based multiple-choice question type exams. Each question will have 4 choices or options, out of which you have to choose 1 correct option

The duration of ATMA is 180 minutes or 3 hours; there are 3 areas which are divided into six sections. This means that each area will have 2 sections each

The testing areas are Analytical Reasoning Skills, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills; each section has 30 questions, making the total number of questions 180

For each correct answer, 1 mark is given and for each incorrect answer 0.25 mark is deducted from the score
I. Analytical Reasoning Skills - 30 Questions and 30 Marks
II. Verbal Skills - 30 Questions and 30 Marks
III. Quantitative Skills - 30 Questions and 30 Marks
IV. Verbal Skills - 30 Questions and 30 Marks

How to Prepare for ATMA 2018 MBA Entrance exam

Most of the candidates (graduates or final year graduate course) who appear for ATMA may have taken other tests that aim at selection for management education or studied for similar tests

The preparation for ATMA should not be similar to that of College and University Exams. However, familiarity with aptitude tests, diligence and regular preparation can improve the speed. AIMS does not recommend any particular preparatory course or training for ATMA, though these may be effective in varying degrees

Exam Centres for ATMA 2017 MBA Entrance exam

Normally, ATMA is conducted in about 30 Cities in India. The following ATMA Test centre are: Ahmedabad (Gandhi Nagar), Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nagur, Nasik, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi and Thane.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online and pay application fee either through online payment or bank account transfer; the ATMA registration form/application form will ask you to fill details such as name, educational qualification, contact details, choice code of institutes.

Application Fee Rs.1100/- Plus 18% GST, i.e., Rs.1100+198=1298/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred and Ninety-Eight only) 

The candidate should fill his/her details like Full name, Correct Email ID, Mobile Number and Date of Birth in the On-line Fee Payment form (Important: You should write correct mail ID and date of Birth)

After successful registration for the test, the candidate should take two printouts of the filled-in Application (Registration Form).

You will receive an auto-generated mail to your email address which has the login credentials for the candidate i.e. username and password.

By using her/his login credentials, s/he can print the filled in registration form or admit card or test result. Hard copy of the test result will not be sent unless otherwise specifically requested for.

Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2018 Process

Step 1: Fill Pearl Academy Application Form

In order to apply for design programmes offerd at the college, aspirants need to fill Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2018 application form either in the online or offline mode. In the application form for Pearl Academy admissions, candidates need to fill information such as their personal details, choice of course, educational qualifications and work experience.

Step 2: Download Pearl Academy Admit Card

After candidates have successfully registered for Pearl Academy entrance exam 2018, they will be provided with an admit card which is a mandatory document that they need to carry to their exam centre. Aspirants are informed that they need to download their Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2018 admit card from the official website. No separate admit card will be sent to students by post. Admit cards will be provided to students for written test as well as personal interview round conducted for Pearl Academy admissions 2018, four days before the Pearl Academy entrance exam.

Step 3: Appear for Pearl Academy Entrance Exam

Pearl Academy admission process is conducted in three cycles. Aspirants can appear for Pearl Academy entrance exam in any of these three admission cycles conducted in a given academic year. Pearl Academy admission cycles are conducted in the months of January, April and June, each year. The Pearl Academy entrance exam pattern and test duration varies from course to course.

Step 4: Appear for Personal Interviews

Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Pearl Academy entrance exam need to appear for a personal interview round. In the personal interview round conducted for Pearl Academy admissions 2018, aspirants are evaluated on the basis of their portfolio/studio test (conducted for Design streams).

Step 5: Check Pearl Academy Entrance Exam Results

In order to secure admission in any course offered at Pearl Academy, candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in both – Written Test and Personal Interview/Studio Test. Candidates who make it to the final merit list for Pearl Academy admissions will be allotted the programme as well as campus basis their rank and preference. Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2018 results for each admission cycle will be declared separately. 

Candidates who are shortlisted for admissions at Pearl Academy are sent a formal “Admission Offer Letter” after the result is declared. “Candidates will be required to pay the fees by stipulated date to secure their seats. In case a successful candidate does not pay the fees within the stipulated date, the seat will be offered to other deserving candidates”, informs the official website.

Note: In a situation wherein a candidate is not selected for admission in his/her desired programme in a given admission cycle then such an aspirant is eligible to apply again in the next admission cycle.

In pursuance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Notification, the 3rd Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

The admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions shall include the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit, rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent 3 examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board, Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.

The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2016 application form online.

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he,she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs, ISM Dhanbad.

INFORMATION BULLETIN:

The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website on 1st December 2015. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

APPLICATION FORM:        

The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website. The online application process will start from 01st December 2015 onwards; the last date for application is 31st December, 2015. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced). In order to facilitate the aspiring candidates, the JEE (Main) secretariat has designated Facilitation Centres across the country who will help the candidates in filling online application without any charge. B.YEAR OF APPEARANCE IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (QE)

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015: or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidates who passed Class 12th,Qualifying examination in 2013 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2017 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. The candidates who appeared in class 12th, equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2013, did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2014 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2016. The candidates willing to appear for improvement examination of class 12th in 2016 have to appear in all the 5 subjects as per the scheme of study of the concerned board. Further, they may also note that in the percentile system, the total marks (of all five subjects) obtained, shown on the mark-sheet of a particular year are required in JEE (Main) and also in JEE (Advanced). The marks from two different year’s (i.e. marks for 3 subjects from year 2015 and marks for other 2 subjects from 2016) mark-sheets cannot be considered for percentile calculation.

C. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).

D. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS AND AGE LIMIT FOR THE STATES OF MAHARASHTRA AND ODISHA:

Since the States of Maharashtra and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their State level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will, however, be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs, NITs, IITs, CFTIs.

The Banaras Hindu University shall conduct Postgraduate Entrance Tests, hereinafter called „PET‟, during May and 1st week of June, 2015 for admission to various Postgraduate Courses as gicven hereunder for the Session 2015-2016. Admissions will be made according to merit in the PET, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and availability of seats in the particular Course for which the candidate has applied for and appeared in the Entrance Test. These Courses have been divided into “General Courses”, “Professional Courses” and “Special Courses”.

(d) ACHARYA in JainDarshan: Duration: 4 Semesters (2 Years) Shastri (Hons.)/Shastri under at least 10+2+3 pattern, in the concerned subject (studied in all the three years) securing a PET Information Bulletin 2015 Page 12 minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at Shastri level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) marksheet.

B.A. (Hons.)/B.A. with Sanskrit/Prakrit as a subject (in all the three years) under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.A. level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) marksheet.

(e) ACHARYA in Dharmagama: Duration: 4 Semesters (2 Years) Shastri (Hons.)/Shastri under at least 10+2+3 pattern, with subject Dharmagam/Yogatantra/Agamatantra/ Agam/Shaivagam (studied in all the three years) securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at Shastri level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) marksheet,

OR

(a) Shastri (Hons.)/Shastri/B.A. (Hons.)/B.A. securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at Shastri (Hons.)/Shastri/B.A. (Hons.)/B.A. level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) marksheet; and

(b) two years P.G. Diploma course in Agamatantra securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.

(ii)FACULTY OF ARTS

(a) M.A. in Bengali, English, Hindi, Kannada@, Urdu, Sanskrit**, AIHC & Arch.++ (Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology), Philosophy, Geography, Statistics, Mathematics, Home Science Duration:4 Semesters (2 Years) B.A. (Hons.)/ B.A. under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.A. level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) marksheet. The subject in which admission is sought must be Hons. subject at B.A. (Hons.) level OR a subject studied in all the three years at B.A. level.

NOTE: @ During this Session no admission will be made in M.A. in Kannada.

** Shastri (Hons.) shall also be eligible for admission to M.A. in Sanskrit.

++ Candidates having passed B. A. (Hons.)/B.A. in Ancient Indian History as a subject in all the three parts at B.A. Level are also eligible for admission in M. A. in Ancient Indian History & Arch.

For admission in M. A. in Statistics a candidate must also have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Graduate level.

Note: + A candidate, having passed B. A.(Hons.)/B.A. with Ancient History as a subject is not eligible, for admission in M. A. in History but can apply for M.A. in AIHC & Arch, in the Faculty of Arts.

++ A candidate having passed B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. with Psychology as Hons. subject or a subject studied in all the three years at B.Sc. level is eligible for admission in M.Sc. in Psychology.

b.  Payment of Entrance Test Fee in Cash through “Challan” in any branch of HDFC Bank: After filling up the application form, its submission and selecting this mode for payment, the candidate can print the Challan from the entrance test portal. The printout of challan will contain all necessary details of the candidate, bank account details of the Banaras Hindu University in which the entrance test fee will be deposited and the exact amount to be deposited. The candidate will be required to visit any branch of the HDFC Bank of his/her choice where he/she will be required to deposit the requisite Fee amount to the Bank.

AIIMS PG Entrance Exam January 2014 MD MS MCh MDS MHA

All India Institute of Medical Sciences: PG/Post Doctoral Entrance 2014

Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode for entrance test to be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences on 15 th October, 2013 for admission to various PG/Post Doctoral Courses (MD/MS/M.Ch/MDS/DM/MHA/Ph.D) for January 2014 session.

Eligibility:

DM/MCh

A Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS or DNB from a University recognized by the MCI

The candidate who are likely to complete 3 years requisite tenure and degree by 30th January, 2014 may also apply. However, the candidates who complete their 3 years requisite tenure after 30th January, 2014 are not eligible to take up this examination.

MHA

1.     The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application. 

2.     The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

PhD

1.     A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations. 

2.     MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations

MD/MS/MDS

1.     A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2014. The candidate who complete their internship after 30th January, 2014 are not eligible to take up this examination. 

2.     The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.

Application Procedure:

The prospectus is available on the website www.aiimsexams.org and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of online Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates).

A candidate can submit application only On-Line through Internet. Visit www.aiimsexams.org read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank by the candidate.

NOTE:

1)    Candidates are required to bring AIIMS copy of Challan Form to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination and Deposit the same with Invigilator at the time of attendance.

2)    Candidates are NOT required to send any documents, including Registration slip to AIIMS.
