PG Programme in Liberal Studies and Management (PGLSM)

Eligibility:

The applicant must

hold a duly recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

OR

·         hold a duly recognized post-graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

·         SC/ST/PWD candidates are allowed a relaxation of 5% in the minimum mandated marks.

·         Must possess a valid score in CAT 2019 /GRE/ GMAT

Selection Process

IIM Kozhikode adopts a three-stage selection process for the admissions to PGP-LSM. The details of the three stages are provided below:-

Stage-I (Online application)

The admission process starts with the submission of online application. Eligible candidates who have successfully completed the online application, will be considered for stage-II of the selection process.

Stage-II (Shortlisting of the candidates)

In stage-II, a shortlist of candidates in each category will be prepared based on an Aggregate Index Score (AIS). The AIS is computed based on the performance in the verbal section of the aptitude test (CAT/GMAT/GRE), academic performance in Class X & XII, work experience and gender diversity score.

Stage-III (Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview)

The short-listed candidates will have to appear for a Writing Task, followed by a Personal Interview (PI). IIM Kozhikode will conduct this process in the following cities in India:

·         MUMBAI

·         KOZHIKODE

Procedure for Selection

Selection to the Post Graduate Programme in Liberal Studies and Management is based on criteria including the candidate's academic record, performance in eligibility test score, writing ability test and personal interview ( PGP-LSM Admissions Policy and Procedure for PGP-LSM 2020-2022 Batch). The candidate is expected to check IIM Kozhikode website (www.iimk.ac.in) for regular updates at various stages of selection process as well as other updates regarding admissions.

Reservation

IIM Kozhikode will follow the Government of India reservation policy for admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs). Reservation is available to candidates belonging to EWS, OBC, SC, ST and PwD candidates as per the central government norms applicable.

Final Merit List

A category-wise merit list will be prepared based on the final scores. Admission offers will be made to the candidates following the merit list as per the Government of India reservation norms.

Method of selection

Payment of Fees
