Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MAH HM CET in order to provide admission to candidates in undergraduate and postgraduate Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) programmes.

Admission to candidates is provided in all colleges/ universities offering HMCT programmes which are approved and recognised by Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to any of the non-agricultural university in Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) is an online entrance exam conducted at different cities across India. All candidates who are Indian nationals are eligible to apply for MAH HM CET 2017 exam.

MAH HM CET 2017 exam dates are not out yet. However, in 2016, the hotel management entrance exam for UG course admissions was conducted on May 22 and for PG course admissions was conducted on May 29.

Eligibility

MAH HM CET 2017 eligibility criteria for both UG and PG hotel management courses is as mentioned below:

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

All candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned parameters meet MAH HM CET 2017 eligibility criteria for UG course admissions:

• Candidates should be Indian nationals.

• Candidates should pass Class XII from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).

Note: The official website informs, “Aggregate marks mean the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects on which the class declaration is made in the particular Board from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination.”

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply.

MAH HM CET Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

All candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned parameters meet MAH HM CET 2017 eligibility criteria for PG course admissions:

• Candidates should be Indian nationals.

• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in HMCT approved by AICTE or central/ state government colleges with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for backward class and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only).

Candidates appearing for their final year hotel management exam are also eligible to apply.

Note: The official website informs, “Aggregate marks mean the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects on which the class declaration is made in the particular university from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination.”

How to Apply:

Step 1: Fill MAH HM CET Application Form

For MAH HM CET 2017 registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. After filling the MAH HM CET 2017 application form, candidates will be redirected to the payment gateway where they need to pay application fee.

Candidates can pay MAH HM CET 2017 application fee in the online mode only via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ IMPS/ Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

Once the fee is paid, candidates are recommended to take a print out of the application form and application fee receipt and keep for future reference.

Step 2: Download MAH HM CET Admit Card

Candidates can download MAH HM CET 2017 admit card from the official website of DTE Maharashtra by using their registration number/roll number or password/date of birth.

After downloading the admit card/ hall ticket, candidates need to take a printout of it and affix a recent photograph, preferably the same as provided at the time of registration.

Candidates need to carry the MAH HM CET 2017 admit card along with an original photo ID proof at the allotted exam centre.

Note: “Intimation for downloading hall ticket will also be sent through email/SMS”, informs the official website.

Step 3: Appear for MAH HM CET Exam

Next, candidates need to appear for the hotel management entrance exam at the allotted test centre. MAH HM CET 2017 is an online exam comprising objective-type multiple choice questions.

Step 4: Check MAH HM CET Result

Candidates can check their MAH HM CET 2017 result on the official website of DTE Maharashtra by entering their registration/ roll number.

Candidates qualifying the MAH HM CET exam will then be eligible to secure admission in hotel management courses offered at colleges in Maharashtra state.

MAH HM CET Exam Pattern for UG Courses

MAH HM CET 2017 exam pattern for UG courses is such that the question paper will contain 100 multiple choice questions of 100 marks that candidates need to complete in 90 minutes duration. The test will be conducted in the online mode and in English language only.

Marking scheme: One mark will allotted for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking in the exam.

MAH HM CET Exam Pattern for PG Courses

MAH HM CET 2017 exam pattern for PG courses is such that the question paper will contain 50 multiple choice questions of 100 marks that candidates need to complete in 60 minutes duration. The test will be conducted in the online mode and in English language only.

Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Jr. Fellowship & Eligibility for Lectureship 2017 

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi invited applications for the Single MCQ Examination (Joint CSIR - UGC Test) for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) NET and appointment for Lecturer (NET). The eligible candidates can apply Online for the examination through the CSIR, HRDG’s Website (csirhrdg.res.in) on or before 08th March 2017

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test Tentatively on Sunday 18th June 2017 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of JRF NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology 

A candidate may apply either for ‘JRF’ OR for ‘Lectureship (LS) only’ He/she may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. CSIR may consider candidates for ‘JRF’, or ‘Lectureship only” depending on number of fellowships available & performance in the test, subject to the condition that they fulfill the laid down eligibility criterion 

If a candidate is found to be over-age for JRF (NET) he/she will automatically be considered for Lectureship (NET) only. Candidates with M.Sc. qualification OR under M.Sc. Result Awaited (RA) category shall be eligible for LS subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria as laid down by the UGC 

Two separate merit lists, one comprising the candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-NET) and the second, of those candidates qualifying the Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET), will be made on the basis of their performance in the above Test. Candidates qualifying for JRF (NET), will also be eligible for Lectureship (NET) subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC 

The candidates qualifying for Lectureship will be eligible for recruitment as Lecturers as well as for JRF-ship in a Scheme/Project, if otherwise suitable. However, they will not be eligible for Regular JRF-NET Fellowship. Candidates qualifying for the award of JRF (NET) will receive fellowship either from CSIR or UGC as per their assignment or from the Schemes with which they may find association 

The candidates declared eligible for Junior Research Fellowship under UGC scheme and Lectureship will be governed by UGC rules/regulations in this regard 

The final result of this Single MCQ test may be declared sometime in the month of Sept/Oct, 2017 and fellowship to successful candidates will be effective from 01st January 2018 with the validity period of 2 years for joining the fellowship under CSIR Scheme

ELIGIBILITY

Education Qualification (CSIR UGC NET Test 2017)

Candidates should have M. Sc or equivalent degree/Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B Tech/B Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC-Non Creamy layer candidates (Central list only as provided in National Commission for Backward Classes website) and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates 

Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on 01st March 2016, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award 

Such candidates will have to submit the attestation format (Given at the reverse of the application form) duly certified by the Head of the Department/Institute from where the candidate is appearing or has appeared 

B.Sc. (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD Programme with at least 55% marks for general and OBC (Non Creamy layer) candidates; 50% marks for SC/ST, Persons with disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply 

Candidates with bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years 

The eligibility for lectureship of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only 

The candidates with the above qualification are advised to fill up their degree with percentage of marks in column No. 18 to 21, as applicable

Exam Date 

The single paper MCQ based test will be held tentatively on 18th June 2017 (Sunday). The examination will be held in two sessions; morning 09.00 AM to 12.00 noon and afternoon 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM 

The CSIR UGC NET pattern for the Single Paper MCQ test shall be as given below: 

The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks; the exam shall be for duration of three hours. The question paper shall be divided in three parts. 

Candidates should use only black ballpoint pen and not pencil to fill in their particulars in the OMR Answer Sheet/Question Paper Booklet and to darken the appropriate circle to mark their answers in their OMR answer sheet. The Question Booklet for this test will be printed in Hindi & English Version 

Age limit and relaxation

For JRF (NET): Maximum 28 years as on 01st January 2017 (upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/ Persons with disability (PwD) and female applicants) 

For LS (NET): No upper age limit

SYLLABUS OF THE TEST

The question paper shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C) as per syllabus & Scheme of Exam 

Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects. This part shall contain questions pertaining to General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative comparison, series formation, puzzles etc. 

Part 'B' shall contain subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs), generally covering the topics given in the syllabus 

Part 'C' shall contain higher value questions that may test the candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem

The Exam Scheme for Chemical Sciences has been revised from June 2017 CSIR-UGC (NET) Exam onwards. The revised exam scheme and model Question paper may be seen at CSIR HRDG website www.csirhrdg.res.in 

Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per subject wise scheme of Exam

Examination centres

The test will be held at 27 Centres spread all over India, as specified - Bangalore, Bhavnagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Jorhat, Karaikudi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pilani, Pune, Raipur, Roorkee, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi 

Exam Fee 
Candidates applying for the Test may deposit their Examination fee, after verifying their eligibility, in any branch of the Indian Bank throughout the country by paying the following fee in cash through bank challan to be downloaded from the CSIR website OR through NEFT from any other Bank branch 

The journal number or the UTR number given by the Bank is to be filled in the payment details while submitting the application form: 

For General - Rs.1000/- 

For Other Backward Classes (OBC) - Non Creamy Layer - Rs.500/- 

For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH) - Rs.250/-

Candidates may also deposit their fees through RTGS or NEFT by giving particulars of the Indian Bank, as notified in the fee deposit challan 

OBC candidates whose caste is not listed in Central List (as available on National Commission for Backward Classes website www.ncbc.nic.in) and who are not covered under the provisions as applicable to OBC - Non Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates, shall be treated as General Category candidates for all purposes

In order to apply Online the candidates are required to download Bank challan Performa from the above website and then deposit the requisite examination fee in any of the Indian Bank branches throughout the country 

Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available at CSIR, HRDG website 

Candidates must write their name, father/mother's name as written in their Matriculation (Xth Class Board) Certificate and should ensure that the same are matching with their educational qualification certificates and caste certificate except for married females who may submit relevant certificate regarding change of their name while filling their online application form 

The hard copy of filled online application form, duly completed with requisite enclosure should be sent by Ordinary post to the Deputy Secretary (Exam), Examination Unit, Human Resource Development Group, CSIR Complex, Opposite Institute of Hotel Management, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 so as to reach Examination Unit CSIR on or before 14th March 2017 

For candidates applying from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J&K State, Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshdweep, the application form must reach to the Deputy Secretary, Examination Unit, CSIR on or before 21st March 2017

Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2017

(a) For admission to Pharmacy

Odisha JEE admission to 1st Year Degree Courses in Pharmacy BAMS , BHMS
For Pharmacy: Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 Science Exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subject

The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) in the above subjects taken together

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into Pharmacy courses

For BHMS BAMS: Candidates should have Passed in 10+2 Science or appearing in 2017 Exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) for general category candidates and 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST candidates

The lower age shall be 17 years as on 31st December 2017. The candidates have to submit HSC or equivalent certificate in support of age during certificate verification at the time of counseling

For admission into 2nd year, Degree Courses in Engg , Tech Courses under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, in three year diploma exam (two-year in case of lateral entry diploma) in Engg from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute, from a recognized

University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering, Technology

Results of final diploma exam must be available on the date of document verification during counselling

There is no reservation of seats in various categories in lateral entry to degree Engineering, Technology (B.Tech) courses

For Pharmacy Courses (2nd year under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders): Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017 in diploma exam in two years diploma course after XII standard in Pharmacy with minimum 45% (40% in case of candidate belong to SC, ST category) of marks in aggregate from Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) or SCTE&VT or from an AICTE approved Institution, from a recognized University as defined by UGC for direct admission to the third semester degree courses

Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification. There is no reservation of seats in lateral entry to degree Pharmacy courses. There is no age limit to admission to this course

For Engg, Technology (2nd year under Lateral Entry for B.Sc, +3 Sc Students): Passed or appearing in 2017, for the Bachelor’s Degree Exam of three years duration in Science from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST, SC category) and must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject

Further even though the student in this stream are admitted to second year course, they have to clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics, Engineering Drawing & Engg Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects. The candidates who is a native of Odisha must submit the residence certificate

For Master Degree in Computer Application: Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any university of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) at the qualifying exam; if the candidate has passed BCA with mathematics as a subject, he, she may appear the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level

There is no age limit to admission to MCA course

For MCA (Lateral Entry to 2nd year): Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science) from any University of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to admission to 2nd year MCA under lateral entry course

For MBA Program: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, Bachelor’s Degree Exam of minimum three years duration from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC, AICTE (or)

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to for admission to MBA course

For admission to M.Tech, M.Tech (PT), M.Pharm, M.Arch: Candidates should have completed bachelor’s degree in degree from a recognized college or university. Candidates having 2 years of experience in either education or industry are eligible to apply

For M.Pharm: Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam or equivalent in Pharmacy from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Pharm course

For M.Arch: Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam in the relevant field in Architecture from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Arch course

For MAM: Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent. The candidate should have passed all the individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC, ST category) in all the subjects taken together

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into MAM courses

For M.Plan: A pass in recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engg or Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development

Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 10th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 18.09.2016 (Sunday) for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. Candidates can apply only on-line for CTET-SEPT 2016 on CBSE, CTET website 

Eligibility:

The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

1. Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A, B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed, B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

3. Note:

i.        Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, Differently abled.

ii.      Diploma, Degree Course in Teacher Education: For the purposes of this Notification, a diploma, degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.ED (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.

iii.    Training to be undergone: A person with D.Ed (Special Education) qualification shall undergo, after appointment an NCTE recognized 6-month Special Programme in Elementary Education.

iv.   The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies, Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc. In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms for Physical Education teachers referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 3rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable. For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, etc. the existing eligibility norms prescribed by the State Governments and other school managements shall be applicable till such time the NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications in respect of such teachers.

v.     Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are provisionally admitted and their CTET Certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid Examinations.

vi.   The candidate not having any of the above qualification shall not be eligible for appearing in Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

1. Please read the Information Bulletin of CTET - SEPT 2016 carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form.

2. Candidates can apply for CTET - SEPT 2016 ‘ON-LINE’ through website

For ‘ON-LINE’ SUBMISSION - website 

Candidates can apply ‘ON-LINE’ at CTET website. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. Candidate should enter his particulars i.e. Name, Father Name, Mother Name & Date of Birth as per his, her Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data.

4. Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down system generated Registration No. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. The Application Form mainly contains the personal details and contact details of the candidates. After successful submission of the data, Registration No. will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.

Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature 

Note: 
The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.

Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.

Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.

Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) * 4.5 cm (Height) only

Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) * 1.5 cm (Height) only

*NOTE: THE Candidate particulars can be edited till the payment of fees by Debit, Credit Card has not been made or the challan is not downloaded. Once the payment of fee has been made, challan downloaded, candidate particulars cannot be edited at this stage. Thereafter corrections can be made only during the period in which on-line corrections will be allowed as per the given schedule of CTET - SEPT 2016.

Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by challan or debit, credit card: 

For Payment by Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank challan: The candidate has to select “Bank e-Challan” (Syndicate, Canara Bank) to submit the application fee through bank. As soon as he, she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate along with amount to be paid as per their category and paper(s) opted. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest Core Banking Service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the respective Bank for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login again to the system and enter the details written on the e-Challan by the bank official like Transaction ID, Branch Code, Branch Name and date of fee deposit. After the details are uploaded, a Confirmation Page will be generated. OR Candidate can also pay fee by Debit, Credit Card of any bank.

Step 4: Download Confirmation Page for your record and future reference, if required.

Note: Candidates are NOT REQUIRED to send hard copy of confirmation page to CTET unit. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, challan if fees is paid by challan, for future reference

For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit, rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent 3 examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board, Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.

The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) - 2016 application form online.

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he,she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs, ISM Dhanbad.

INFORMATION BULLETIN:

The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website on 1st December 2015. The aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

APPLICATION FORM:        

The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website. The online application process will start from 01st December 2015 onwards; the last date for application is 31st December, 2015. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced). In order to facilitate the aspiring candidates, the JEE (Main) secretariat has designated Facilitation Centres across the country who will help the candidates in filling online application without any charge. The list of such institutes is available on the JEE (Main) website and in JEE (Main) - 2016 Information Bulletin.

B.YEAR OF APPEARANCE IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (QE)

Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 or 2015: or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidates who passed Class 12th,Qualifying examination in 2013 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2017 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2016. The candidates who appeared in class 12th, equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2013, did not pass in 2013, but passed in 2014 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2016. The candidates willing to appear for improvement examination of class 12th in 2016 have to appear in all the 5 subjects as per the scheme of study of the concerned board. Further, they may also note that in the percentile system, the total marks (of all five subjects) obtained, shown on the mark-sheet of a particular year are required in JEE (Main) and also in JEE (Advanced). The marks from two different year’s (i.e. marks for 3 subjects from year 2015 and marks for other 2 subjects from 2016) mark-sheets cannot be considered for percentile calculation.

C. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).

D. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS AND AGE LIMIT FOR THE STATES OF MAHARASHTRA AND ODISHA:

Since the States of Maharashtra and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. The age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their State level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will, however, be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs, NITs, IITs, CFTIs.

How to Apply:

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM SUBMISSION:

Online application has to be submitted through JEE (Main) - 2016 website. The aspiring candidate should furnish all the details and upload scanned image of his, her photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression while filling up the 'On-line' Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated acknowledgment slip after successful submission of data and payment of fee and keep the same in the safe custody for any future reference.

Important Note:

The entire application process is online, including uploading of photograph & signature and payment of fee the candidates are required NOT to send any document to JEE (Main) Secretariat.

Seven (7) Steps to be followed to apply online.

The JGEEBILS is a shared entrance test for several institutions doing research in Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences. The test is coordinated by TIFR.
