10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 38 Commencing from Jan 2018

Indian Army invited applications from 10+2 exam pass candidates for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) 38 Course Jan 2018 for the Grant of Permanent Commission. All eligible candidates may apply online for Indian Army TES 2018 through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Total No. of Vacancies: 90 Vacancies 

Type of Commission: On successful completion of 4 years of the course, cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt.

TES 2018 Eligibility Conditions

Nationality: A candidate must either be : (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) A subject of Bhutan, or (iii) A subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility issued by Govt of India is necessary, may be admitted to the examination provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him by the Govt before declaration of result by SSB/joining training

Age Limit

A candidate must not be below 16½ years and above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01 Jul 1998 and not after 01 Jul 2001(both days inclusive)

The date of birth accepted by the office is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving certificate or in the certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent exam certificate

No other document relating to age will be accepted

The expression Matriculation/ Higher Secondary Exam Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificate mentioned above

Educational Qualification

Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry

Eligibility condition for calculating PCM % of various State/Central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XII only

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of cut off % applied as decided by the Recruiting Directorate 

Selection Centre allotment and SSB dates info will be intimated via Email/SMS to shortlisted candidates; thereafter shortlisted candidates will have to undergo Services Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB) from August 2017 onwards

Duration of SSB interview is five days. During their stay at SSB, Candidates are put through Psychological Tests, Group Tests and an Interview 

Candidates will be put through stage - I of the selection procedure on the first day. Only successful candidates shall be retained for balance of the testing 

Stipend / Pay & Allowances 
The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.21000/- p.m. (Rs 15600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-) as is admissible to NDA cadets on completion of 3 years training 

On completion of 4 Years training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt.

Application will only be accepted online. To do so the candidate needs to click on the “online application” button on website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates must enter their particulars in the online application

After Submission Online Application, Print two copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Application Number. One copy of this Application Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 04, Nirman Bhawan PO, New Delhi-110011; along with the following documents: Self attested photograph, photo copies of 10th & 12th class pass certificates along with Mark Sheets, attested by gazetted officer.

KLEU AIET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Courses

Only those candidates who would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course will be considered eligible to appear for the KLEU All India Entrance Test (KLEU AIET 2017-18) and subsequent for admission to that course

Qualification

Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. PUC II ,10+2,HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2017-18 provide they have offered the above mentioned subject at the said exam; or

Candidates should have passed qualifying exam from a board recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India

B. Parm (4 years): Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with one of the mathematics, computer sciences, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational, PC and Electronics subjects
Obtained at least 40 % m ark s in the above subjects together

Lateral  entry in 2nd year B.Pharm: D.Pharm candidates passed from any PCI approved institution with at least 50% marks

Pharm.D (5+1 Internship or Residency): A pass in any of the following examinations: 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology

As per the regulations of statutory bodies, as laid out in Post Graduate regulations the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50%

Candidate should have passed qualifying exam from a board recognized by the MHRD, Govt. of India

M.Pharm (2 years): (i) Aggregate of 55% marks obtained in Bachelors in Pharmacy or equivalent degree (ii) 5% relaxation in Minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved category

M.P.T (2 years): 50% and above aggregate marks in BPT from a recognised University

KLEU AIET 2017 Exam Pattern

The KLEU AIET Entrance Exam will be held on 10th June 2017 through offline mode. The medium of the question paper is English. 200 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the question paper. 50 questions will be asked from each as Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology that is followed by 10+2 level syllabus. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking. The duration of the exam is 3 hours

KLEU AIET Admit Card 2017

Candidates can download their admit card from the official portal of the University. The KLEU AIET Admit Card 2017 will be available from 07th June 2017, 8.00 pm onwards. There is no procedure to send the admit card through post or email. Candidates can keep the admit card for counselling and admission process

KLEU AIET Result 2017

The KLEU AIET Result 2017 will be announced by the conducting authority. Candidates can check their result from the official portal on 20th June 2017. On the basis of scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, the merit list will be prepared

KLEU AIET 2017 Application Procedure

KLE University has released the notification regarding admission to various UG and PG courses. The notification has been released on 05th May 2017. KLEU AIET Application Form 2017 is available through online process from the website. Candidates can get the application form from 10th May 2017
The last date to fill the form will be 5th June 2017. After submitting the online application form, candidates may download the filled online application form and submit it to the given address through offline mode. On the downloaded print copy of the form, the declaration is to be signed both by the candidate and parent,g uardian of the candidate
Those candidates belong to the BRD and KTC Category, they have to enclose all the necessary documents with the online application form , acknowledgement. Candidates have advised to keep the print copy of the online application form, acknowledgement for further use. Last Date to submit the Printed Online Application will be 09th June 2017 (by 4:00 p.m.)
Candidates are advised to obtain & preserve proof of the 'Printed online' application form, acknowledgement. This may be useful for obtaining duplicate Test Admission Ticket (TAT) card if required

Seeing the insufficient number of passed out in NHTET - April 2017 Exam, the NCHMCT felt it necessary to conduct 2nd NHTET immediately to enable the IHMs under its umbrella, to get sufficient number of candidates to fill their vacancies of Asst. Lecturer and Teaching Associations 

NHMCT calling online registration for National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET - June 2017) 

Brief of the Scheme 

1. The scheme is to filter the best among the better to declare them eligible for Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associates in NCHMCT affiliated IHMs and will be known as NHTET Scheme 

2. The scheme will be applicable to the citizen of India who fulfils the other eligibility criteria prescribed under this scheme 

3. The candidate declared eligible for Assistant Lecturer or Teaching Associates will have the only right to apply against any vacancy, if announced by NCHMCT affiliated any IHM, irrespective of either Central Govt. Institute, State Govt. Institute, PSU Institute or Private Institute. The NHTET qualified candidate will not have any right of automatic induction in NCHMCT affiliated any IHM 

They have to face a separate selection process for induction as Assistant lecturer or Teaching Associates to be conducted by the individual institute 

4. Any NCHMCT affiliated IHM shall not recruit any teaching faculty under direct recruitment against any regular vacancy if the candidate does not have a valid NHTET pass certificate. 

NHTET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after 10+2 form a recognized University with at least 60% marks with at least 2 years industry experience after obtaining Degree (or) 

Full time Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration / Hotel Management after Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration / Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks either in Bachelor or Master’s Degree 

Candidates appearing in the final semester/ final year exam of the master’s degree and have passed all subjects of previous year/ semester, and also having Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality

Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks, can also apply 

Age Limit 

To be counted as on 31st March 2018 

General Category 30 years 

OBC Category 33 years 

SC/ST and PD Categories 35 years 

On passing the NHTET they will be allowed to apply against any vacancy of AL and TA (of which maximum) age is 30 years with relaxation for reserve candidates) for a period of one year is up to 31st March 2018 

NHTET 2017 Scheme and Date of Test 

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held once in a calendar year. However, in case of insufficient candidates are qualified, the NCHMCT can hold the exam twice in a calendar year. The test will be held on a single day in two separate sessions as under: 

Paper-I: First (1 hour from 09.00 am to 10.00 am) - 50 Questions; 100 Marks (each question will carry 2 marks) 

Paper-II: First (1 hour, from 10.30 am to 11.30 am) - 50 Questions; 100 Marks (each question will carry 2 marks) 

Paper-III: Second (2 hours, from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm) - 100 Questions; 200 Marks (each question will carry 2 marks) 

Paper-I, II: Negative Marking - ½ marks for each wrong answer or for double attempted 

Paper-III: Negative Marking - 0 marks for the questions not attempted 

The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet provided along with the Test Booklet 

The detailed instructions for filling up the OMR Sheet will be mentioned in the call letter/ hall ticket

Examination Rules  

Students will be not allowed to appear for the Entrance Exam without valid Admit Card.

In the Exam hall, students should produce the Admit card,Hall Tickets when demanded by the invigilator.

Admit Card can be downloaded or received by email from the university official website.

Admit Card will not be sent by post.

Candidates shall retain their Admit cards for Admission counseling

Candidates shall be present at the examination center 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.  

Any malpractice or attempt to commit malpractice in the examination hall or any violation of the rules will lead to disqualification of the candidate.

Aspirants should arrive at the exam centre as per reporting time mentioned in the  hall ticket and also bring valid Id proof for Verification

Student should sit in pre allocated seat

Student should maintain silence during and after the admission test

sign the attendance sheet in presence of invigilator

Student will not be allowed to carry written material inside the exam hall

Student are not allowed to write anything behind the Admit card

Student are not allowed to carry any electronic device like Mobile phone, calculators etc

Student will not be allowed to go out of exam hall till the completion of the entire exam time

Students are not allowed to carry eatable items inside the examination hall, except water bottles.

Master of Laws (L.LM One-Year Course and LLM Two Year Course) 

Eligibility: A person who has passed one of the following exams shall be eligible after qualifying the entrance test to join the first semester class of the LLM Course: 

a) LLB 3 Yr Degree, BA LLB,B.Com LLB 5 yrs degree exam of this University with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC,ST,BC candidates); or 

b) Any equivalent exam of another University recognized by the Syndicate for this purpose 

Scheme of Test: The duration of the Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Entrance Test will be of 100 marks. The questions will be based upon following four components: 

1. Constitution Law, Administrative Law, Service Law, Environmental Law and Human Rights - 50 MCQ (1 Mark Each) 

2. Indian Penal Code (IPC), Cr. Pr. Code and Law of Evidence - 15 MCQ (1 Mark Each) 

3. Jurisprudence 10 MCQ (1 Mark Each) 

4. Family Law, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Public International Law, Labour Laws and Company Law - 25 MCQ (1 Mark Each) 

MCA 3 yr Course (Semester System) & (MCA Evening Self-Financing Course) 
Eligibility: The minimum qualification for admission to the first-year of the course shall be: i) A recognized first degree of minimum three years’ duration in any discipline from Panjab University with at least 50% marks and with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation level (all three years); or ii) BCA from Panjab University with 50% marks; or iii) Any exam recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent to any of the above exams i) or ii) 
Scheme of Test: The test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration shall contain 75 Objective Type (Multiple choice questions with four responses i.e. A,B,C,&D) carrying one mark each; the questions will be based upon following four components: i) Mathematics (10+2 level) 40;  ii) Computer Science 15; iii) English 10; iv) Reasoning & Aptitude 10 

M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication (Sem. System, 2-Year Course) 
Eligibility: The Entrance Test is open to all such candidates who have any one of the following qualifications: 
i) A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject of Journalism & Mass Common or Bachelor’s degree in any subject attaining atleast 50% marks in the aggregate of this University or any other University the exam of which has been recognized as equivalent thereto; or 
ii) BA,BSc with Honours in Journalism and Mass Communication; or 
iii) Master’s Degree exam in any subject of this University or any other University the exam of which has been recognized as equivalent thereto 

Scheme of Test: The test of1 hour and 30 minutes duration will comprise of Objective & Subjective Type Questions for 65 marks out of the total 75 marks; the remaining 10 marks would be divided equally between the group discussion and interview to be held consequent to the entrance test 
The test will be divided into five following components: i) Article writing on current events; ii) Precis writing; iii) Feature, writing on personalities, reviews etc. iv) English Comprehension; v) Interpretative passage 

MPH (Master in Public Health) 
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from recognized University, Institute 
Scheme of Test: The duration of the Entrance Test will be 1 hour 30 minutes and it will consist of 75 multiple choice questions of one mark each; there will be 25 from Biological Sciences, 10 from Social Sciences, 25 from Health Sciences and Medical Vocabulary, 15 on Environment Sciences 

M.A. (English) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: A person who has passed one of the following examinations from Panjab University or from any other University whose examination has been recognized equivalent to the corresponding exam of this University: 
i) B.A. with Honours in English; ii) Bachelor’s degree in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate; iii) Diploma in Physical Education exam or Postgraduate Diploma in Library Science after having passed B.A. or B.Sc; iv) B.A. (Pass),B.Sc (Pass) exam in full subjects obtaining at least 45% marks in the Elective English 
vi) Obtained B.A after passing exam in an Oriental Classical Language or a Modern Indian Language with at least 45% marks (out of the aggregate excluding the additional paper) at the Honours in Oriental Titles or Modern Indian Languages exam in English 
Scheme of Test: The written Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration and will carry 75 marks; the pattern of the CET should be as follows: 
a) Write at least two paragraphs (total 400 words) on any of the one given topics, issues - 30 marks 
b) Critical appreciation of a poem - 25 marks 
c) Four short note (approx 100 words) based on Topics related to literature - 20 Marks 

MA (Geography) 
Eligibility: A person shall be eligible only if (i) He,she has passed in Geography in the BA or B.Sc exam obtaining at least 45 marks; or has obtained Post-graduate diploma in Cartography with atleast second division 
Scheme of Test: The duration of the Entrance Test will be 1 hour 30 minutes and it will consist of 75 multiple choice questions of one mark each 

Masters in Disaster Management 
Eligibility: The candidates, except those sponsored by the govt, institution should have passed the written Entrance Test conducted by PU, Chandigarh; the merit list will be prepared considering the marks obtained in the Entrance Test and the qualifying Exam as per the following criteria: 
Written Entrance Test: 50% 
Qualifying Exam: 50% 
Academic and other weightage(s), if any, will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by the eligible candidates in the Qualifying Exam as prescribed and admissible in PU rules

Masters in Remote Sensing & GIS 
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree with Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics ,Physics, Botany ,Environment Science, Computer Science, Urban Planning, Regional Planning, B.Tech, BCA or Master’s Degree in Geography ,Geology, Geophysics ,Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Environment  Science, Computer Science, MCA, Urban Planning, Regional Planning with at least 50% marks in aggregate 
BA, B.Sc, M.A, M.Sc Geography students will be given additional weightage of 15% of the academic score at Bachelor’s level

Eligibility: B.E., B.Tech (Chemical) (04 years) or Five Year Integrated B.E (Chem.)with MBA with a CGPA of 6.00 or at least 60% marks in the aggregate (where % marks are awarded) in the qualifying exam i.e. B.E., B.Tech (Chemical) (04 years) or Five Year Integrated B.E (Chem) with MBA or any other equivalent qualifying degree as approved by the Syndicate 
GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from the PU-CET (P.G.) test; however, in case of eligible GATE qualified candidates the merit list will be as per the GATE Score obtained and shall be offered the seat in the first instance

M.E. Electrical Engg. (Instrumentation & Control) Regular Program 
Eligibility: B.E., B.Tech or equivalent in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics, Electrical Engg with atleast 60% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or any other University 17 recognized by Panjab University as equivalent thereto

Eligibility: B.E or B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science and Engg, Information Technology with at least 60% marks in aggregate from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Panjab University as equivalent thereto 
GATE qualified candidates shall be exempted from the PU-CET (PG)-2017 test. However, in case of eligible GATE qualified candidates, the merit list will be as per the GATE score obtained and shall be offered the seat in the first instance 
Scheme of Test: The duration of Entrance test will be 1 hour 30 minutes. The question paper will consist of 75 multiple-choice questions from the syllabi prescribed for PU-CET (PG)-2017 M.E (Computer Science & Engg and Information Technology) Regular Program. Each question will be of one mark 
ME Civil Engineering (Construction Technology & Management) Program 
Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engg from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 of 60% marks in aggregate; admission (against vacant seats) is on the basis of entrance test (PU-CET (P.G.)-2017) to be conducted by the Panjab University & interview 
GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from the (PU-CET (P.G.)-2017 test; however, in case eligible GATE qualified candidates, the merit list will be as per the GATE score obtained and shall be offered the seat at the first instance

ME Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing Technology) Program 
Eligibility: A Bachelor’ Degree in Mechanical Engg, Production Engg., Industrial Engg., Automobile Engg, Manufacturing Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate 
Admission (against vacant seats) is on the basis of entrance test (PU-CET (P.G.) to be conducted by the Panjab University and interview, GATE qualified candidates will be exempted from the (PU-CET (P.G.) test; however, in case of eligible GATE qualified candidates, the merit list will be as per the GATE score obtained and shall be offered the seat at the first instance

M.B.E. (Master of Business Economics) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: i) A Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in any discipline of the University or a Degree of any other University which has been recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate; or 
ii) Pass in the final exam conducted by (a) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, (b) The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and (c) the Institute of Company Secretaries of India 
Scheme of Test: The question paper of 1 hour 30 minutes duration will consist of 75 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) with four responses i.e. A,B,C&D carrying a total of 75 marks; the standard of the question paper shall be based on the latest syllabus prescribed for Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce of Panjab University (1st, 2nd and 3rd year together) 

MEFB (Master of Entrepreneurship and Family Business) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: i) A Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in any discipline of the University or a Degree of any other University which has been recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate; or 
ii) A pass in the final exam conducted by a) the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India, b) the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and c) the Institute of Company Secretaries of India 
Scheme of Test: The question paper of 1 hour 30 minutes duration will consist of 75 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) with four responses i.e. A,B,C&D carrying a total of 75 marks; the question paper will include questions related to General Knowledge, Verbal, Reasoning ability, Data interpretation and Commerce, Economics 

M.Com (Honours) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: a) B.Com,B.Com (Hons.),BBA with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; or; b) B.Com (Hons) Degree with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; or; c) A graduate with Honours in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; or 
Provided that in case of candidates having Bachelors degree of the University through Modern Indian Languages ([Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script)] and,or in a classical language (Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic) or degree of any other University obtained in the same manner recognized by the Syndicate; 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account full percentage of marks in all the papers in Language excluding the additional optional papers, English and Elective subject taken together 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration shall comprise of one paper of 85 multiple choice (having four responses A, B, C&D) objective type questions of one mark each in the area of Accounting, Management, Laws and Economics 
Merit list: The admission will be made on the basis of the Entrance Test (85% weightage), Group Discussion (7.5% weight age) and Personal Interview (7.5% weightage) 

M.Com (Business Innovations) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: The Entrance Test for M.Com (Business Innovations) shall be open to all such candidates who possess the qualifications as mentioned below: 
a) A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (B.B.A) with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; OR 
b) B.Com (Hons.) Degree with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; OR 
c) A graduation with Honours in Economics OR Mathematics OR Statistics OR Commerce with not less than 45% marks in the aggregate; OR 
d) A graduation with 50% marks in the aggregate in any other discipline of the University or a degree of any other University which has been recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto

Merit: Admission to M.Com (Business Innovation) at SCD Govt College, Ludhiana shall be on the basis of the entrance test (Weightage 50%), and qualifying exam (Weightage 50%) 

MBACIT (Commerce & Information Technology) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: BA, B.Sc, B.Com., any other Graduation Degree with 50% from Panjab University or any other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto 
Scheme of Test: The question paper of 1 hour 30 minutes duration will consist of 75 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) with four responses i.e. A,B,C&D carrying a total of 75 marks; the question paper will include 15 questions each on subject knowledge of Commerce, Economics, IT, Verbal ability, Reasoning and General awareness 
Master of Business Administration for Executives (MBAfEX) 
The minimum qualification for admission to the first semester of the course shall be: i) A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or any other examination with 50% marks recognized by the University as equivalent thereto; or 
A pass in the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, Institute of Cost Accountants of India or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of England, Institute of Company Secretaries of India; or 
Diploma in Personnel Management and Labour Welfare or Diploma in Marketing Management with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate, provided the candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree 
ii) Two-years whole time executive experience in a commercial or industrial establishment after having passed the qualifying exam as given above 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will carry 85 marks and will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration; it will consist of 85 multiple-choice questions of one mark each and having four responses A,B,C&D; the components of the test will include: General Knowledge; Economics and Business Environment Awareness; Data interpretation and problem solving; Numerical Ability; Verbal Ability, Reasoning and English Comprehension 
Merit List: The admission will be made on the basis of the Entrance Test (85% weightage), Group Discussion (7.5% weightage) and Personal Interview (7.5% weightage) 

Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) (Two-Year Course, Semester System) 
Eligibility: A person who has passed, appeared in any one of the following exams: a) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks; or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc in Health and Physical Education) with at least 50% marks 
b) The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks for SC,ST,OBC,PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt, State Govt whichever is applicable 
c) Any other qualification recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to (a) and (b) 
Admission Procedure: Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination (written test, fitness test, interview and percentage of qualifying exam) as per the policy of Panjab University 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration shall comprise one paper of 75 marks, containing 75 Objective Type questions of multiple choices (having four responses A,B,C&D) carrying one mark each; questions will be based on the following three areas of Physical Education and Sports: (a) Aptitude (b) General Knowledge (c) Reasoning Ability 

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) (Two-Year Course) 
Eligibility: A person who has passed, appeared in any one of the following exams: 
a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College, Inter-Zonal District, School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU, IOA, SGFI, Govt. of India; OR 
Bachelor’s Degree in physical education with 45% marks; OR 
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory elective subjects; Bachelor’s degree with participation in International competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National, Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations, AIU, IOA, SGFI, Govt. of India; OR 
Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers, coaches) 
b) The relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam and in the reservation of seats for SC,ST,OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt, State Govt., whichever is applicable 
c) Any other qualification recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to above points 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration shall comprise one paper of 75 marks containing 75 Objective Type questions of multiple choices (having four responses A,B,C&D) carrying one mark each; questions will be based on the following three areas of Physical Education and Sports: (a) Aptitude (b) General Knowledge (c) Reasoning Ability 

M.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physics & Electronics and Zoology: 
Eligibility: BA,B.Sc (Pass or Honours) examination with 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST,BC) of the Panjab University or any other exam recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent thereto with the subject desirous of seeking admission in M.Sc (Honours School) Course as an elective subject for three years 
For Entrance Test to M.Sc (Hons School) Mathematics B.A, B.Sc (General) with Mathematics from the colleges affiliated to Panjab University or from other Universities as recognized by the Panjab University 
B.Sc (MLT) Course has not been made equivalent to B.Sc (Hons. School) Biochemistry of Panjab University; the candidates who are already students of Panjab University Teaching Department and have passed, appeared, appearing in the B.Sc (Honours School) final exam of the University during the current session in the relevant subject are not required to appear in the M.Sc (Honours School) Admission Entrance Test 

For M.Sc. (Hons) Physics: B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) examination of P.U. or any other exam recognized as equivalent thereto with 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC, ST, BC, PwD) with Physics and Mathematics as elective subjects 

For M.Sc. (Hons) Physics & Electronics: B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) examination with Physics and Mathematics as elective subjects, or B.Sc. (Electronics) or B.Tech. , B.E. (Electronics , Electrical Mechanical or equivalent) with 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST,BC,PwD) of P.U. or any other exam. recognized as equivalent thereto 

For M.Sc. (Hons.) Biophysics: B.Sc.(Hons.) in Biophysics of Panjab University or B.Sc, B.Sc.(Hons.) in Biophysics, Bioinformatics , Biotechnology of the Panjab University or any other examination recognized as equivalent or B.Sc. with i) Physics, ii) Chemistry and iii) any one of the subject from life sciences during all the three Years of the graduation 

For M.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry: Passed B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from department of Chemistry, P.U. ii) B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) examination with 50% marks from PU or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with (a) Chemistry in all the three years, six semesters and (b) any two science subjects during two years, four semesters during graduation 

For M.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology: B.Sc. Biotechnology with 50% marks or B.Sc. (50% marks) with Biotechnology as Elective, Vocational on subject (studied for 3 Years) are eligible 

Scheme of Test: The question paper will be on the concerned subject for which the admission to M.Sc (Honours School) is being sought by the candidate; it will consist of 75 Objective Type Questions (Multiple-Choice with four responses i.e. A,B,C&D) carrying a total of 75 marks; the question paper will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration 
The standard of the question paper shall be based on latest syllabus prescribed for Bachelor’s degree of Panjab University (1st, 2nd and 3rd year together) in the relevant subject 

M.Sc (Hons School) Computer Science 
Eligibility: BCA, B.Sc (Hons School) in Computer Science, B. Tech, B.E. (Computer Sci, Engg) or any other exam recognized as equivalent thereto with 50% marks 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will be of 75 marks. It will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration consisting of 75 multiple choice questions of Computer Science subject at the level of exams as mentioned in the eligibility conditions 

M.Sc (Hons School) Geology 
Eligibility: For vacant seats based on PU-CET (PG) merit and approval of Syndicate, Senate, B.Sc 3 Years course with Geology as one of the subjects, 50% marks in B.Sc. & 50% marks in subject of Geology in B.Sc 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will be of 75 marks. It will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration consisting of 75 multiple-choice questions (with only one correct answer) 

M.Sc (Two-Year Course) Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine and Zoology (Semester Systems): 
Eligibility for Different Courses: Bioinformatics: Bachelor’s degree in Science (General or Honours) with Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Electronics, Genetics, Life Science, Mathematics, Mathematics & computing, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy and Veterinary Science with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC,ST,BC category) 
Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree (under the 10+2+3 pattern of Education) in Physical, Biological, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Veterinary or Fishery Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engg, Technology, Home Science, Medicine (MBBS) from any University, Institute recognized by the Panjab University 
The candidate must have obtained at least 55% marks at the Bachelor’s degree level 
Botany: B.Sc passes with Botany having at least 50% marks taken together from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by Panjab University Syndicate as equivalent thereto 

Physics and Chemistry 
a) B.Sc Honours School exam of the Panjab University in the subject of M.Sc Course; b) B.Sc Exam of the Panjab University or any other University recognized by Syndicate securing leat 50% marks in aggregate and with Physics & Mathematics for M.Sc Physics Course and with Chemistry and Mathematics for M.Sc Chemistry course along with anyone 

Medical Physics: B.Sc with at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Syndicate or equivalent thereto with Physics and Chemistry (nonmedical stream) or Chemistry and Biology (medical stream) as Core subjects 

Nuclear Medicine: B.Sc with at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Syndicate or equivalent thereto with Physics and Chemistry (nonmedical stream) or Chemistry and Biology (Medical stream) as Core subjects 

Zoology: B.Sc with Zoology having at least 50% marks in the aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto 

Scheme of Tests for above courses: 
The scheme of the test for admission to M.Sc (Two Year Courses) as given above offered at different colleges affiliated to Panjab University will be same as applicable for M.Sc (Hons School) in the respective subjects except Bioinformatics 
The candidates may be admitted to M.Sc (Hons School) at Panjab University Campus or affiliated colleges on the basis of final merit lists 

For M.Sc Bioinformatics: The question paper will consists of 75 objective type questions (Multiple choice with four responses i.e. A, B, C&D) carrying a total of 75 marks; the question paper will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration; the syllabi and standard for the question paper shall be the one as currently prescribed for Bachelor’s Degree of Panjab University (1st , 2nd and 3rd year together) 

For M.Sc. Forensic Science & Criminology: Admission to M.Sc. Forensic Science & Criminology shall be through P.U.- CET (P.G.) conducted by Panjab University. The admission will be on merit, based upon the marks obtained in PU-CET (P.G.) and marks obtained at undergraduate degree alongwith admissible weightage as per University Rules 

M.Sc Microbial Biotechnology (Two- Year Course) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: Candidates having Bachelors Degree from any field of Biological Sciences including Biotechnology is eligible 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. It shall comprise 75 multiple-choice questions (with only one right answer) of one mark each; the questions will be based on fundamentals of Microbiology and Biotechnology 

Master’s Degree Program in Environment Science (Two-Year Course) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: Graduates from Science, Engineering stream or any other stream with Honours in Geography as one of the subjects from Panjab University or any other University recognized by Panjab University as equivalent thereto 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. It shall comprise 75 multiple-choice questions (with only one right answer) of one mark each from the Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology and General Awareness subjects of graduation level 
It shall attempt to test the intelligence, comprehension of the scientific principles and general knowledge expected of a science graduate 

M.Sc (Human Genomics) (Two-Year Course) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: B.Sc (Pass or Honours) under 10+2+3 pattern exam of the Panjab University or any other exam recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent thereto in Physical, Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with at least 55% marks 
Scheme of Test: The Entrance Test will be of 75 marks; it will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration consisting of 75 multiple choice questions (with only one correct answer) of 1 Mark each from six disciplines representing Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Medicine 

M.Sc (Systems Biology and Bioinformatics) (Two-Year Course) (Semester System) 
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Science (General or Hons.) with Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Electronics, Genetics, Life Science, Mathematics, Mathematics & computing, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, Computer Science, Engg, Medicine, Pharmacy and Veterinary Science with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC,ST,BC category) 
Scheme of Test: The question paper will consists of 75 objective type questions (Multiple choice with four responses i.e. A,B,C&D) carrying a total of 75 marks; the question paper will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration; the syllabi and standard for the question paper shall be the one as currently prescribed for Bachelor’s Degree of Panjab University (1st , 2nd and 3rd year together) 

PU CET PG 2017 Registration Fees 

Registration fee that applicants CET-PG have to pay is Rs.2100/- for general category, while for SC, ST it will be Rs.1050/-; in case if the candidates wish to write for two papers, then they are required to pay additional amount of Rs.300/- for each paper 
Application fee has to be paid in SBI branches only after downloading the slip from the site 

PU CET PG 2017 Application Procedure 

This prospectus is valid for only one Online Application form. A separate Online Application form is required to be submitted for the Entrance Test of additional course,s as each course will have separate merit list. The cost of an additional Online Application form is Rs.300/- each 

Fee of Rs.2100/- (Rs. 1050/- for SC, ST, PwD) is meant for upto three courses. However, if a candidate wishes to apply for more than three courses then he,she will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300/- for each additional course 

Accordingly, for example, the fee for four courses will be Rs.2400/- (Rs. 1350/- for SC, ST, PwD) and for five courses Rs. 2700/- (Rs. 1650/- for SC, ST, PwD) 

The Online Application forms for General and SC, ST categories are priced differently

PUCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

All those candidates who have passed, appeared (up to the Academic Session 2015-2017) in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board, University, Council shall be eligible to appear in the PU-CET (UG) Entrance Test-2017 

The candidates having compartment in 10+2 examination held in March-2017 will not be eligible for admission in the course. The candidates who do not appear in PU-CET (UG) Entrance Test or who do not qualify PU – CET (U.G.) Entrance Test shall not be considered for admission 

Special arrangements for amanuensis (writer of answer): 

A candidate may be allowed help of an amanuensis (writer) if he, she is: 

(i) Blind or; 

(ii) Permanently disabled from writing with his, her own hand. 

(iii) Temporarily disabled from writing on account of fracture of the right or left arm, forearm or dislocation of a shoulder elbow or wrist etc. The candidate shall produce a certificate from a Professor of the speciality concerned of a Medical College and where there is no Medical College, from the Chief Medical Officer of the District concerned to the effect that the candidate is unable to write his,her answer-books because of the temporary disablement 

Eligibility Criteria 

A person who shall attain the age of 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission and has passed 10+2 exam from the recognised Board, Bodies, Councils or any other examination recognised as equivalent to 10+2 exam by the Panjab University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after qualifying the entrance test shall be eligible to join the first class of the course

PU Common Entrance Test (PUCET 2017) Results 

The result of the entrance test shall, IPSO FACTO, not entitled a candidate to get admission in an institution, dept concerned where he, she intends to seek admission 

It will be the total responsibility of the candidate to mark sure about his, her eligibility and fulfillment of such other conditions as may be prescribed for admission in the rules and regulations of university institute concerned merely test does not mean that he, she is eligible and his, her appearance therein will not stop or debar the university, institution concerned from satisfying itself about his, her eligibility at any subsequent state 

The PU - CET (UG & BHMS) Entrance test will be held at Chandigarh only on 04th June 2017 (Sunday) 

In no case, the fee for the entrance test once paid, shall be refunded

The medium of examination shall be English only

The admissions to the following Institutes will be based on the Score of MAH-B.P.Ed. CET 2017 and Field Test provided they are approved and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State and recognized by NCTE (WRC): 

(i) All Government Aided Colleges offering B.P.Ed Course 

(ii) All University Managed Colleges, Institutes, Departments offering B.P.Ed Course

MAH B.P.Ed CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50 % marks ( 49.50% and above to be considered as 50%), ( Minimum 45% in case of Backward Class categories , ) ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 %). and having atleast participation in the inter-college ,inter-zonal ,district , school competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU, IOA, SGFI, Govt. of India; or 

Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%) (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) (39.50% and above to be considered as 40%); or 

Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45% (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories (39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and studied Physical Education as compulsory, elective subject or;

ICAR AIEEA 2017 Details 

ICAR invites online applications from Indian Nationals, in the prescribed format, for 22nd AIEEA-UG-2017 and AIEEA-PG-2017 to fill 15% seats for Bachelor degrees (100% for NDRI Karnal, RLB CAU, Jhansi and Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar) and 25% seats for Master Degrees (100% seats for ICAR Deemed-to-be-Universities, viz., IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE + Dr. RPCAU, Pusa Bihar) for Master Degrees in Universities under ICAR-AU system including Central Agricultural University Imphal; Central Universities with Agricultural faculty (BHU, Viswa Bharati, Nagaland University, AMU for the academic session 2017-18 

The admissions will be done in the accredited programmes of accredited colleges under the accredited Agricultural Universities only. AIEEA-UG-2017 does not include admission to Bachelor Degree Programme in Veterinary Sciences 

All India Competitive Exam for centralized admission to 25% seats for PhD Degree Programmes in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sciences will also be conducted along with AIEEA-PG-2017 in AUs and 100% seats of Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar (other than IARI, IVRI, NDRI & CIFE) and the award of Junior/Senior Research Fellowship (JRF/SRF-PGS) 

ICAR AIEEA 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Age 

For AIEEA-UG-2017: Not less than 16 years as on 31st August 2017 

For AIEEA-PG-2017: Not less than 19 years as on 31st August 2017 

For AICE-SRF (PGS)-2017 (for PhD): Not less than 20 years as on the date of examination, i.e. 11th June 2017 

Qualifying Examination 

For AIEEA-UG-2017 (Other than Veterinary Sciences): 

Candidates must have obtained not less than 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 examination or equivalent with PCM/PCB/PCMB/PCF subject combinations/Inter Agriculture for admission under General, UPS (Under Privileged State) and OBC (Non-creamy layer) categories or 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PC categories. However, candidates with PCF combination are eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Horti.) only

For AIEEA-PG-2017: 

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science (renamed as Community Science), Sericulture, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Agri. Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, etc., under 10+2+4 or 10+2+5 (B.V.Sc. &A.H.) or 10+6 (B.Sc. Ag.) years degree programmes (Few seats are available for candidates having Bachelor degree with 10+2+3 (basic sciences) at two ICAR-DUs i.e. IARI & NDRI only), with required OGPA of at least 6.60/10, 3.25/5, 2.60/4 for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS categories whereas for SC/ST/PC categories, the said requirement is 5.60/10, 2.75/5, 2.20/4, respectively 

In other cases, where grade points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS categories; whereas for SC/ST/PC, the requirement is 50% marks (equivalence between OGPA and % marks will not be acceptable) 

The in-service candidates seeking admission in ICAR-DUs, should see the respective DU’s website 

For AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS)-2017 

The candidates must have passed Master’s Degree programme in the concerned discipline securing Overall Grade Point Average of at least 6.50/10.00 scale, 3.25/5.00 scale, 2.60/4.00 scale for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS Categories and 5.50/10.00, 2.75/5.00, 2.20/4.00 scale for SC/ST/PC categories, respectively 

In other cases, where grade points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured at least 60% marks for General, OBC (NCL) and UPS Category 

For SC/ST/PC candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will be 50%. The equivalence between OGPA and percent marks will not be acceptable. Candidates must complete the post-graduate degree in all respects and produce the degree-completion certificate from the Registrar to this effect on the date of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission and the award of fellowship 

The fellowship would be granted only when the candidate seeks admission through counseling conducted by ICAR and pursues PhD degree in an accredited Agriculture University except an ICAR-DU where 100% seats will be filled up through its own separate national level exam 

ICAR AIEEA 2017 Seat & Reservation 

For the academic session 2017-18, ICAR 22nd AIEEA UG and ICAR 22nd AIEEA PG will be conducted to admit candidates in 100% seats available at ICAR deemed-to-be-Universities namely NDRI, Karnal, RLB Central Agricultural Universities Jhansi, IARI, IVRI and CIFE. The undergraduate courses is offered by the NDRI, Karnal and RLB Central Agricultural Universities Jhansi while PG is offered by the NDRI, IARI, IVRI and CIFE. State Agricultural Universities also provides admission through ICAR 2017 AIEEA UG and PG entrance exam. It offers 15% seats for UG degree courses and 25% seats for PG degree courses 

Reservation criteria is as following: 
SC - 15% seats 
ST - 7.5% seats 
PC - 3% seats 
UPS - 2% seats 

OBC - Reservation in Central Educational Institutions/ Universities will be as per govt. of India rules

ICAR AIEEA 2017 Application Procedure 

The Information Bulletin along with Application Form and other details will be available on ICAR Website www.icar.org.in and Apply online. Fee of Rs.1200/- for General OBC & Rs.600/- for SC/ST and PC Categories shall have to be deposited while submitting the application Online 

In addition, Rs. 25/- per Bulletin would be charged in case of UG & PG as handling charges plus Service Tax, as applicable, in case of purchase against cash (from the Registrars of Ag. Univs specified branches of 

a) Syndicate Bank at specified places as given on ICAR website) 

b) Forms can also be obtained from eight specified ICAR Institutions by depositing DD 

Last Date for the Receipt of Hard Copy of the Computer Generated Confirmation Pages of Online Application in the office of "Controller of Examinations (Agril Education), Room No.216, ICAR, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi-110012" for UG/PG and AICE-SRF (PGS) Exams is 15th May 2017
