Eligibility:

Applicants for all IMT PGDM and MBA programs must have a minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. IMT Dubai:

Applicants for the MBA program at IMT Dubai must have a full time undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s degree) from an accredited university with a CGPA of 3.0 and above on a 4.0 scale or 50% or equivalent.

Applicants whose native language is not English are required to take an English Proficiency Test. The minimum required score for TOEFL is 550 (paper-based) and 79(internet based) or an IELTS band of 6.0.

Submitting your application

To apply to IMT, an applicant must complete the online ‘Application Form’. There is one Common ‘Application Form’ for all four campuses – IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad and IMT Dubai (August 2020 intake).

In the ‘Application Form‘ the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, etc. and at least one of the following: ID for CAT-2019 OR ID for XAT-2020 OR ID for GMAT OR Roll-No for CMAT- January 2020*. IMT Ghaziabad will be accepting CAT OR XAT OR GMAT scores. IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad will be accepting CAT OR XAT OR GMAT OR CMAT scores. The applicant is required to fill the IDs of the entire test score he/she wishes to submit.

Note: CMAT- January, 2020* test will be considered for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad Campus ONLY.

After completing the form, the applicant can make payment through Credit/Debit card or Net Banking:

Short-listing of applicants for Personal Interview process (PI): This year, applicants may submit any one of test scores: CAT-2019 OR XAT-2020 OR GMAT (1st January 2016 – February 28, 2020) OR CMAT – January, 2020 (Nagpur & Hyderabad only) score. Applicants can submit more than one test score. GMAT test based candidates are required to update their test score, on or before March 15, 2020. Prescribed application form is available at the Registrar's office or may be downloaded from the University website, Duly filled application form (in hard copy only) should reach Additional Registrar's office along with required documents and non-refundable BD worth Rs. 1500/- (including test fee) in favour of 'Swami Vivekanand Subharti University' payable at Meerut, latest by 17' August 2019. Amount may also be paid through online fee submission form the website.

Applications of non eligible candidates & incomplete application forms will not be considered. Admit cards will he issued only to eligible candidates & sent through E-mail only.

Qualified candidates of Entrance Test will be called for an interview, Merit list will be declared after interview. The date and time of interview will be notified separately.

The applicants who have qualified UGC-JRF/CSIVNET/SLET/GATE or M.Phil. are required to indicate accordingly in the application form for exemption from the written part of the Ph.D. Entrance Test.

Test Pattern: The Entrance Test shall be of hundred (100) multiple choice questions. 50 questions shall be on Research Methodology, intended to assess research aptitude of the candidate. Rest 50 questions will be from the subject for which candidate is applying.

Eligibility:

Candidates should have a bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern/ a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or law/ a post graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognized by AIU/AICTE. For SC/ST candidates, 45% marks is required. (Candidates should also fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements for appearing in CAT 2018)

Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply provided they furnish a certificate from the Head of the Institution where he/she is pursuing the course of study, to the effect that he/she has appeared or will be appearing in the qualifying examination to be concluded on or before June 30 of the year of admission.

How to Apply:

Step 1: Candidates seeking admission to the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University (IM-BHU) are required to appear in CAT 2018 conducted by IIMs. For details, please visit CAT- 2018 website - www.iimcat.ac.in. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of the Combined Merit acquired by a Candidate in CAT 2018, Academic Record, Group Discussion & Interview.

The Institute uses CAT score for short-listing the candidates for its two-year full time Post Graduate Programs in Management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

Step 2: Candidates are also required to apply separately for MBA/MBA IB programs of the Institute through University Admission Portal (www.bhuonline.in) for which the online application process is open from 10, September 2018 to 11:59:59 PM on 28, January 2019.

Application fee is Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 800/- for SC/ST candidates) to be remitted through online.
