About College:

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).  Shri.S.S Khera, ICS, the then Cabinet Secretary, Government of India, had conceived the idea of a research institution that would undertake a systematic and sustained study of issues relevant to the formulation of policies towards public enterprises. In the early sixties, when PEs were designed as the principal instrument to serve the social and economic objectives of development, Shri. Khera felt that there was need for an institute which would collect relevant information and documents on PEs, study specific issues and undertake consultancy and training exclusively for PEs. Dr.V.V. Ramanadham, the then Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, translated Shri Khera’s concept into a reality that is IPE, with the active support and guidance provided by the late Dr. D. S Reddy, then Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University as an autonomous, non-profit society at the initiative of the then Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India, Shri S.S.Khera, ICS, and late Dr.D.S.Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognized the Institute as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in social science research in 1976.  The Institute is partly funded by the ICSSR and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility:

The candidates fulfilling all criteria are Eligible for the offered programs: the Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/PC Candidates), from any UGC recognized University by the Ministry of HRD, GOI. The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) was established by the Government of India in 1969. Located at Mysuru, CIIL functions as a subordinate office for the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education. In about five decades of its existence, CIIL has emerged as a premier Institute for the development of all Indian languages. It is recognised within and outside the country for carrying out and supporting extensive research and publication on Indian languages. The Institute also offers an innovative programme with an objective to promote multilingualism among the citizens of this country and thereby promote national integrity and social harmony. This 10-month language training programme is offered mainly to in-service and prospective teachers, and also to general public interested in developing a career in Indian languages. Course Name:

Diploma in Language Education (DLE)

Duration: 10-month

Eligibility:

General:

i.              The applicant should not have any formal degree, native/nativised proficiency or informal knowledge in the language applied for.

ii.             The applicants should not have been trained in any of the languages at the Regional Language Centres or have discontinued or have been terminated from the RLCs.

iii.            The applicants can select a language from the list provided in Table 1.

iv.           The applicants should select the language they want to learn carefully as change in the language choice is not permissible after joining the course.

v.            Preference of language should be clearly mentioned in the application. Otherwise, seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the Regional Language Centres.

vi.           The applicants opting for Urdu language should clearly specify the name of the Regional Language Centre viz., NRLC, Patiala / UTRC, Lucknow / UTRC, Solan otherwise the seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the three Regional Language Centres.

vii.          If a candidate is selected in a particular year and if they have not reported to the language training, their candidature will not be considered for next 3 years.

viii.         He/she must be below 45 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Age relaxation will be given only for In-service Teachers at the discretion of the selection committee

ix.           It should be noted that English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages are not taught in the 10- month Diploma in Language Education.

How to Apply:

i.              Applicants must download and send the hard copy of the application in the prescribed form which is available in the Institute’s website: www.ciil.org/ltp.aspx along with a crossed demand draft for. Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only). Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘MHRD HIGHER CAS CLG’ payable at New Delhi. The application must reach the Institute before the due date. There is no need to send an advance copy.

ii.             In-service teachers must submit their application through proper channel duly certified and forwarded by the Headmaster of the School and BEO/DEO/BDO/CEO/EO/DPI/ DDPI/ ZEO/BSA/Inspector of schools.

iii.            Teachers from Government/Fully Government-aided schools must produce their last pay certificate indicating details such as basic pay, scale of pay, DA, ADA, HRA, CCA, date of increment etc. If the pay is revised during the period of training, the applicant must produce the revised pay certificate with allowances. If deputation allowance or any other special allowance is permissible to be paid during the training period, this may also be mentioned in the last pay certificate.

iv.           The Centres do not pay employer’s contribution under the scheme of Contributory Fund. Applicants must make necessary arrangements for this.

v.            Prospective teachers/research scholars and general public must submit their applications directly to the Director, CIIL along with supporting documents. Besides this, PhD pursuing scholars must also attach a “No Objection Certificate” from their University and their applications should be forwarded by their Guides.

vi.           The reservation of seats belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories is available as per the Constitutional provision. The applicants may avail this, if eligible.

vii.          All applicants must submit a certificate of fitness issued by a Medical Officer stating that the concerned applicant is physically fit and can sustain food and environmental conditions of the place of training. This may be sent along with the application form.

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam is an Institution of National Importance under the IIM Act 2017. PG Program for Experienced Professionals (PGPEx)

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for admission into the Program are as follows:

·         The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent) that has been recognized by an authorized body in India. The Bachelor's degree obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.

·         The applicant must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience as on May 29, 2020 at an officer/executive level or higher; as a professional or as an entrepreneur. Part time work experience, clerical (non-officer/ non-executive) experience and apprenticeship will not be considered as eligible work experience.

·         Applicants require a valid CAT, GMAT, GATE or GRE score to be considered for admission.

I. CAT score validity: Not more than two years old as on 29/5/2020

II. GATE score validity: Not more than three years old as on 29/5/2020

III. GMAT/GRE score validity: Not more than five years old as on 29/5/2020

Alternatively, applicants also can choose to apply for PGPEx by opting to take the IIMV Test.

How to Apply:

Application Process

·         The application form for admission to PGPEx (2020-22), will be available at https://admissions.iimv.ac.in/pgpex/

·         A non-refundable application fee of INR 1000/- is to be submitted along with the application. SC, ST, PwD, Women applicants are totally exempt from paying the application fee. NC-OBC and EWS applicants are required to pay 50% of the fee viz. INR 500/-.

·         Candidates those opting to appear for the IIMV Test will have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 1000/- in addition to the application fee. There is no discount for any category of applicant in the IIMV Test fee.

·         Application fee and IIMV Test fee (both non-refundable) as mentioned above, should be paid on-line through the ‘Online Fee Payment’ SBI link in the Institute’s website.

·         This link will also be available in the admissions page for PGPEx.

·         The venue for IIMV Test will be IIM Visakhapatnam campus (only) and at no other City/Centre in India or abroad. IIMV Test will be a paper-and-pencil based test and not a computer-based test.

·         Applicants are required to ensure that the following documents are submitted along with the application form. It is emphasized that the application form will be considered to have been completed only upon submission of all the following documents. Incomplete applications and/or applications not adhering to the requirements specified herein are liable for rejection.

Documents to be submitted:

i)             Copy of Government issued Photo Identity proof (Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Aadhar etc.,)

ii)            SSC, HSC & Bachelors’ Degree Transcripts or Mark Sheets

iii)           Bachelor’s Degree Certificate

iv)           Master‘s Degree Certificate (if applicable)

v)            CAT / GMAT / GRE/ GATE Score Sheet (if applicable)

vi)           Work Experience letters / Last Pay-drawn Certificates (LPCs) / Authenticated Salary Slips (First & Last) - indicating Date of joining, Date of leaving (if any) and duration of service. The work experience letters, LPCs or the Salary Slips, as the case may be, would be required for each of the employment positions served by the applicant)

vii)          Copy of caste / disability certificate (SC / ST /NC-OBC /PwD / EWS) — if applicable

It may be noted that:

a) NC-OBC certificate is valid for one year from the date of issue; Applicants must ensure that they submit a valid certificate (valid till August 2020).

b) The PwD certificate must be issued by a Government hospital signed by a panel of three doctors or by a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) as per the PwD Act 2016.

c) EWS certificate must be issued by an officer of the rank of Tehsildar or above.

IISER Tirupati is the sixth Institute in the chain of IISERs being established by the Govt. of India under the Ministry of HRD for imparting quality education in basic sciences and set up state-of-art research facilities for front line and cutting edge research in science. This is a new institute and is currently being mentored by IISER Pune. Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three channels.

1.    Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel

2.    Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) of the Indian Institutes of Technology

3.    State and Central Boards Channel (SCB)

These channels will be referred to as KVPY, JEE, and SCB, respectively.

Indian nationals and students belonging to PIO or OCI category are eligible to apply provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria described below.

KVPY Channel

Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2020-21 academic session are eligible to apply for admissions. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable.

JEE-Advanced Channel

Candidates in General category securing a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to apply. For candidates belonging to the reserved category (OBC-NC, SC, ST, PD), their category rank should be within 10000. Additional cut-off criteria for marks obtained in 10+2 board examination is also applicable

SCB Channel

·         Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2020.

·         However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board.

·         Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

How to Apply:

·         In order to apply for IISER Admissions 2020, a candidate has to first do online registration using the Registration link given on the website.

·         After successful registration, you will receive login id  on your registered mobile number along with the password

·         Using these login credentials, candidates should fill online application form  using Application Login link given on the website.

The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, was founded in 1958 as the Central Institute of English (CIE). Giving shape to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s (India’s first Prime Minister) vision to set up an institution to impart quality training in English for teachers, the mandate of the University is to advance and disseminate “instructional, research and extension facilities in the teaching of English and foreign languages and literatures in India” as well as “to take appropriate measures for interdisciplinary studies and research in literary and cultural studies, and to develop critical intercultural understanding of civilizations.” In addition to regular teacher training programmes, CIE set benchmarks through its various conferences, refresher courses, and syllabus design ventures. During this time, the Institute also initiated indigenous English education programmes by producing school textbooks and later radio lessons. Gradually the Institute extended the scope of its goals, viz. to improve the standard of teaching of English; to undertake relevant research; and, to introduce foreign languages.
