Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) invites applications for admission to AICTE-approved Post graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for the academic year 2014-2016. Established by the Government of India, it is considered one of the leading institute offering education, training and research in the field of tourism, travel and allied sectors. The candidate has to write their answers on OMR Sheet. It will be an objective type test with four options of nearest answers carrying 100 questions / 100 marks [General Awareness (50 Marks), Verbal ability (25 Marks) and Quantitative ability (25 marks)]. One mark for each right answer and no negative marking for wrong answer.

3) Group Discussion And Personal Interview:

Eligibility:

1) Candidates seeking admission to MBA (TTM) programme shall be required to possess a Bachelor degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university (as per the AIU foreign equivalence list) having secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in case of General and OBC categories and 45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are eligible to apply.

Note: If the seats reserved for SC/ST remain vacant then the same will be filled by the SC/ST candidates who appear for entrance exam irrespective of their ranking in the exam.

(a) Candidates with 60% marks overall in 4-year Diploma in Ship Building Engineering from the Institute of Ship Building Technology, Goa [OR] 3-year Diploma in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from the AMET University, Chennai [OR] 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE, will be eligible for admissions by Lateral Entry into the second year against the available vacant seats at the beginning of the second year.

(b) The admissions will be made in the order of merit based on aggregate percentage of marks.

(c) The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 4 years or 3 years as the case may be.

(d) Age limit – 18 to 26 years.

For Admissions to 3rd Year of B. Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering)

(a) Candidates with B.Sc (Ship Building & Repair), who have at least 60% marks overall and have completed the degree within the stipulated period of 3 years, will be eligible for admissions by Lateral Entry into the third year. The number of seats for this lateral entry are ‘20’ and available only in IMU Visakhapatnam Campus.

(b) The admissions will be made in the order of merit based on aggregate percentage of marks.

(c) Age limit – 19 to 27 years.

How to Apply:

Online Registration of Applicants with facility to upload photograph, scanned signature, scanned copy of the 10th Std Mark sheet as proof of Date of Birth, scanned copy of 12th Std/ Degree Certificate (wherever applicable), scanned copy of the SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/General-EWS certificate (wherever applicable) and other relevant certificates (wherever applicable). The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL) was established by the Government of India in 1969. Located at Mysuru, CIIL functions as a subordinate office for the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education. In about five decades of its existence, CIIL has emerged as a premier Institute for the development of all Indian languages. It is recognised within and outside the country for carrying out and supporting extensive research and publication on Indian languages. Diploma in Language Education (DLE)

Duration: 10-month

Eligibility:

General:

i.              The applicant should not have any formal degree, native/natives proficiency or informal knowledge in the language applied for.

ii.             The applicants should not have been trained in any of the languages at the Regional Language Centres or have discontinued or have been terminated from the RLCs.

iii.            The applicants can select a language from the list provided in the above Table.

iv.           The applicants should select the language they want to learn carefully as change in the language choice is not permissible after joining the course. (Note: Request for Change of language, if any, will be considered at valid reason only after joining the selected concerned language Centre)

v.            Preference of language should be clearly mentioned in the application. Otherwise, seats will be allotted according to the vacancies available in the Regional Language Centres.

vi.           The applicants opting for Urdu language should clearly specify the name of the Regional Language Centre viz., NRLC, Patiala / UTRC, Lucknow / UTRC, Solan otherwise their application will not be considered.

vii.          If a candidate is selected in a particular year and if they have not reported to the language training, their candidature will not be considered for next 3 years.

viii.         English, Hindi and Sanskrit languages are not taught in the 10-month Diploma in Language Education.

ix.           He/she must be below 45 years of age as on 1st July 2019. Age relaxation will be given only for In-service Teachers at the discretion of the selection committee.

i.              Applicants must download and send the hard copy of the application in the prescribed form which is available in the Institute’s website: www.ciil.org/ltp.aspx along with a crossed demand draft for. Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only). Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘MHRD HIGHER CAS CLG’ payable at New Delhi. The application must reach the Institute before the due date. There is no need to send an advance copy.

ii.             In-service teachers must submit their application through proper channel duly certified and recommended by the Headmaster of the School, the Inspector of Schools or other higher authority such as DEO or the Director of Education.

The admission process seeks to identify the most promising candidates for the PGP batch of 2019 for IIMV. IIMV uses multiple parameters, namely academic performance in 10th standard examination, 12th standard examination and Bachelor’s degree examination, candidates’ scores in CAT, as well as performance in Personal Interview and Written Ability Test to judge the suitability of candidates for the PGP program. Relevant work experience, if any, is also given weight in the selection. Evaluation by multiple criteria is also consistent with empirical research on recruitment and selection that shows greater efficacy of recruitment processes that uses multiple criteria. Eligibility:

Candidates should have

      A Master's Degree (bachelor’s degree obtained in 10+2+3 pattern, followed by a master’s degree) or a Post Graduate Diploma (2 years) in any discipline, with at least 55*# percent marks in the bachelor’s as well in the master’s degrees.

      A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 50*# percent marks and B.Com/Degree with 55* percent marks

      A 4 year / 8 semesters Bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) with atleast 6.5 CGPAor equivalent.

*The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100.

# Five percent marks relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.

The above qualification should be from any of the Universities, or other educational institutions, incorporated by an act of the Parliament or State legislature in India; or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956; or, recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying Programmes that would make them eligible can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by July 31, 2019** from the Principal / Head of the Department / Registrar or Director of the University / Institute (issued on or before July 31 ,2019)** stating that they have appeared for the examinations (including practical examinations) in all the subjects required for obtaining the Master's / Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification. Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and the certificate of having passed the Master's / Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by Principal / Registrar of their college / Institute. The deadline for submission of marks sheet and the Certificate is December 31, 2019**. Please note that those candidates who have applied on the basis of their Master's degree will have to meet the 55% marks stipulation, and those who have applied on the basis of their bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) will have to meet the 6.5 CGPA or equivalent stipulation. Non-fulfillment of these conditions will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

Selection

Based on the information provided by the applicants, selected candidates will be shortlisted (on the recommendation of the respective areas) and called to Visakhapatnam for an interview (see FPM 2019 Areawise Admissions Process for details).

Interviews are expected to be held in the first week of May 2019**.

Candidates will be admitted to the programme based on a combination of multiple parameters, as specified by the respective areas. Parameters may include applicant's performance in GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score, past academic performance, interview performance etc.

Candidates selected for admission are required to attend an Orientation and Preparatory Programme which is expected to be scheduled during last week of June 2019**. Registration for the programme will be in the last week of June 2019**.

About College:

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).  Shri.S.S Khera, ICS, the then Cabinet Secretary, Government of India, had conceived the idea of a research institution that would undertake a systematic and sustained study of issues relevant to the formulation of policies towards public enterprises. In the early sixties, when PEs were designed as the principal instrument to serve the social and economic objectives of development, Shri. Khera felt that there was need for an institute which would collect relevant information and documents on PEs, study specific issues and undertake consultancy and training exclusively for PEs. Dr.V.V. Ramanadham, the then Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, translated Shri Khera’s concept into a reality that is IPE, with the active support and guidance provided by the late Dr. D. S Reddy, then Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University as an autonomous, non-profit society at the initiative of the then Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India, Shri S.S.Khera, ICS, and late Dr.D.S.Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, recognized the Institute as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in social science research in 1976.  The Institute is partly funded by the ICSSR and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
