About College:

Central Institute of Tool Design(CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a poineering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO). The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculty were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling. The main objectives of the institute are:

·         Training of the technical personnel in Designing & Manufacture of Tools, Dies & Moulds.

·         Design & Manufacture of dies, jigs, fixtures and guages, etc.

·         Provision of advisory services to Small Scale Units including assistance in design and developing tools for various processes.

·         Recommending measures to standardise components for dies, jigs and other tools.

The College of Fine Arts, one of the foremost institutions of Art in India, has the unique distinction of completing sixty nine (69) years of useful and yeoman academic service in the field of education in general and Fine Arts in particular. Selection Procedure for JNAFAU, Hyderabad:

Admissions for the research programs (Ph.D) shall be made on the basis of Ph.D Eligibility Entrance Test (PEET) and interview, as per UGC stipulations.

Candidates who have qualified the UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE examination, or awarded with a Research Fellowship by UGC/CSIR/Government Organization are exempted from written test for Ph.D. admission. However, they should appear for the interview.

The SPMVV-RESET exam will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016. The SPMVV-RESET is conducted for taking admission for women candidates to full time/part time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in various disciplines offered at the School of Science and School of Social Science, Humanities and Management for the academic session 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria for SPMVV-RESET 2016:

The candidate should possess a postgraduate degree of the concerned/ related subject of any recognized University, with a second class with a minimum of 55% of marks and 50% in the case of SC/ST and PHC candidates.

The question paper and medium of writing RESET will be in English except for Telugu studies.

The Campus

The School is located in the main Campus of Kakatiya University. The buildings include the administrative block as well as academic block. Sri Krishnadevaraya University had its beginning as the Post Graduate centre of Sri Venkateswara University in the year 1968. It has gained autonomy in the year 1976. Fulfilling the desires of the people of the region, the Autonomous Post Graduate centre was given the status of the University in the Year 1981. Initially,Sri Krishndevaraya University functioned as a unitary residential University. It was conferred the status of an affiliating University in the year 1987. Presently, it is catering to the higher educational needs of the revenue districts of Anantapur and Kurnool. The Post Graduate centre at Kurnool was brought under the jurisdiction of the University in the year 1993.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local, non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions
b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned

c) The candidates seeking admission

For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination

For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC,ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level

d) The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC
e) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree exam shall also be eligible to appear for APICET-2016

f) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition, Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies
g) Qualifying marks in APICET - 2016 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC, ST candidates

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to find admission into MBA, MCA course unless the candidate:

i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers
ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time, evening, distance mode)
iii) Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned

APICET 2016 Exam Pattern

The ICET question paper contains multiple choice objective types test with 200 questions. It is divided into three sections and the exam must be completed within 150 minutes

The three sections are Analytical Ability: 75 questions, Mathematical Ability: 75 questions,

Communication Ability: 50 questions

ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad has announced the exam dates for Admission Test for Icfai Tech (ATIT), which will be conducted in May 2016. ATIT offline test will be held on Sunday, May 01, 2016 and online test will be held from Monday, May 04, 2016 to Monday, May 18, 2016. ATIT is conducted for taking to admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Students securing 60% aggregate in class X and class XII or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects are eligible to apply.

·         Final year students of class XII or its equivalent awaiting examination Results may also apply.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure:

·         Students interested in appearing for ATIT 2016 can apply by any one of the following methods:

·         By OMR application form

·         Candidates can apply online. Candidates must make payment of Rs. 700 towards the cost using Credit, Debit Card (Visa, Master Card, Internet Banking) through secure internet payment gateway. Applicants applying online should upload their passport size color photograph while filling the Online Application. The ATIT Prospectus will be sent to such applicants.

·         Alternatively, applicants can file their details online and download the application form and send it to the Admissions Office along with the demand draft of Rs. 700 towards the cost. The DD should be drawn in favor of “IFHE - A, c ATIT (2016) Prospectus Fee” payable at Hyderabad.

Paper Pattern:

Online Test:

·         It is in Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration and is conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all over India.

Offline Test:

·         It is in Paper Based Test (PBT) format.

·         The test is of 2 hours duration.

·         The answers have to be marked in the specially designed OMR answer sheet which will be provided at the time of the admission test.

·         Both online & offline tests constitute objective type questions in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in multiple choice format. There will be 30 questions in each of the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.
