About College:

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).  Shri.S.S Khera, ICS, the then Cabinet Secretary, Government of India, had conceived the idea of a research institution that would undertake a systematic and sustained study of issues relevant to the formulation of policies towards public enterprises. In the early sixties, when PEs were designed as the principal instrument to serve the social and economic objectives of development, Shri. Khera felt that there was need for an institute which would collect relevant information and documents on PEs, study specific issues and undertake consultancy and training exclusively for PEs. Dr.V.V. Ramanadham, the then Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, Osmania University, translated Shri Khera’s concept into a reality that is IPE, with the active support and guidance provided by the late Dr. D. S Reddy, then Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University as an autonomous, non-profit society at the initiative of the then Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India, Shri S.S.Khera, ICS, and late Dr.D.S.Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University. Selection Procedure

Selection of students is made by the selection committee. Admissions are administered centrally from Pune campus.

Admission under Management Quota

The Institute has the policy of admitting a limited number of students under sponsored category, not exceeding 5% of the total students admitted.

Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati is the first among the 3rd phase of IITs, announced in 2014, to have its foundation stone laid in March 2015. It started functioning with the support of it’s mentoring institute, IIT Madras from the academic year of 2015-16. The academic program was launched in August 2015 by admitting students in the B.Tech programme in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Two boys hostels are now operational for first year students and the third hostel is almost ready for occupation by senior students. 120 and 60 seater classrooms are also ready for conducting classes for the first year students. ·         Candidates with a PG degree in Physiotherapy i.e., MPT degree awarded by this University or a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy considered as equivalent to MPT by SVIMS University, M.Sc. in Nursing degree awarded by this University or a University recognized by INC or a P.G. degree in Nursing considered as equivalent to MSc, by SVIMS are eligible for enrolment in PhD courses under the Faculty of Paramedical Sciences

·         Candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% (aggregate of second and/or third year marks for medical courses). However, a concession of 5% marks is allowed to SC/ST candidates. For MD/MS candidates, the decision of the selection committee appointed by the Director-cum-VC is final

·         Candidates with MD/MS, DM/MCh degrees who are themselves acting as chief guides cannot apply

·         Post graduate degrees awarded by distance education will not be considered.

·         A JRF/SRF working in a project funded by the Institute or any other extramural funding agency and teaching faculty working on ad hoc basis or on daily wage / contract basis can apply for full time registration in a PhD programme. They will be allowed to continue their assignment only if they get provisional registration in the same department where they are working subject to

Age Criteria

1.    For admission to full time PhD as regular candidates, the age of the candidate should be below 45 years as on 01st July 2019

2.    Production of a concurrence certificate from the Principal Investigator/Head of the department (Form A) and

3.    An undertaking that he/she will not claim any extension of the tenure of the post or any other benefit whatsoever, linking the claim to his/her registration and pursuance of PhD program (Form B)

Selection Procedure

The applications should be complete in all respects. Those applications which are incomplete shall be summarily rejected and the decision of the selection committee shall be final. The selection will be made by the committee based on written test and / or interview. The final selection list will be notified and will be communicated to the successful candidates. The selected candidates are required to deposit their fees and undergo medical examination before joining the course. The selected candidates must join within 30 days of the date of communication of the result to him/her

Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a poineering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. MANAGE was established in 1987, as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension at Hyderabad, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India as an autonomous Institute, from which its acronym ‘MANAGE’ is derived. In recognition of its importance and expansion of activities all over the country, its status was elevated to that of a National Institute in 1992 and re-christened to its present name i.e., National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management. MANAGE is the Indian response to challenges of agricultural extension in a rapidly growing and diverse agriculture sector. The policies of liberalization and globalization of the economy and the level of agricultural technology becoming more sophisticated and complex, called for major initiatives towards reorientation and modernization of the agricultural extension system.
