About College:

Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour (Nov. 26, 1870 – Dec. 25, 1949). by his lifetime saving. This 18th University of India and the oldest and the biggest  University of Madhya Pradesh has perhaps the singular distinction of being founded by the munificence of a single person's hard earned money of about two crore of rupees.  Apart from being a great jurist and legal luminary par excellence, he was a great Patriot, Philanthropist, Educationist and Social Reformer.

Dr. Hari Singh Gour was the first Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University (1922 to 1926) and first Dean (1924) of The Faculty of Law in Delhi University. Dr. Hari Singh Gour also held the Vice-Chancellor of the Nagpur University, (two times in 1928 and 1936).

STEP- 2:

Submit by hand or by registered post or by courier, the duly filled application form along with copies of academic documents duly attested by class one gazetted officer or notarised from notary, work experience documents (if any), name change document (if any), 2 passport size photographs, photo identity proof and complete program fee, to SCDL Pune Campus.

International and SAARC Admissions:

APPLICATION PROCESS

·         Purchase the application form Online for USD 100 or Rs 7100/-.

·         You have to courier the filled application form to SCDL Pune Campus along with necessary documents.

·         Submit the completely filled application form along with attested copies (by Gazetted Officer or notarised by a Notary) of all academic documents, work experience documents (if any), name change document (if any), 2 passport size photographs and photo identity proof.

·         For International and SAARC Students, an address in a foreign country is mandatory, along with address proof or copies of passport page showing visa of the foreign country.

·         Submit Full Fee / First Installment Payment along with the Application Form.

Note:

·         International Students are required to fees in Indian Rupees (INR) instead of US Dollars. The conversion rate of INR to USD will be Rs. 69 to a dollar w.e.f April 01, 2019.

·         The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is an organization of South Asian nations. Its seven founding members are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Applicants from the SAARC Countries (Except India), have to pay Registration Fees as mentioned under SAARC Category.

Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya or Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University was established to fulfil a dream of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Mahatma Gandhi was of the firm opinion that Hindi should not only be the national language of the country but it should also gain the status of a world language. The dream of the Mahatma was reflected in the resolutions passed by the First World Hindi Conference organized in Nagpur in the year 1975. The first resolution demanded Hindi to be made one of the official languages of the United Nations Organisation and the second resolved to establish an International Hindi University at Wardha, the land where Gandhi ji experimented all programmes dear to his heart.

How to Apply:

The candidates may obtain the Admission Guidelines along with Application form by downloading from the University website and enclosing a draft of Rs. 200 (Rs.50/- for SC/BC/DAP of Haryana only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa payable at Sirsa. The Application Form duly filled in along with fee and requisite documents such as Detailed Marks Card of the qualifying examination and age certificate along with Haryana Domicile Certificate may be sent to the Director (UCDL), Room No. 01, Lal Bahadur Shashtri Administrative Block, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa-125055 (Haryana) or by hand on or before prescribed date.

The students are required to go through the Admission Guidelines carefully before filling up the application form and the students must visit the University website. Photocopies of the application form will not be accepted. The candidates should fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting with ball pen BLUE or BLACK in CAPITAL LETTERS only in English. Only good quality recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form. Please do not staple or pin the photograph. Do not sign on the pasted photograph. Attestation should not be done on the photograph. The name, date of birth and name of the father/mother/husband/guardian should correspond with those recorded in his/her SSC/Matriculation certificate or that of equivalent examination. Incomplete and improperly filled-up applications or not accompanied by the required fee and documents or applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected out rightly. No correspondence will be made in this regard. The applications duly filled-in together with the prescribed fee and enclosures should reach to the office of the Director (UCDL) Room No. 01, Lal Bahadur Shashtri Administrative Block, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa-125055 (Haryana) by registered post or at the receiving counter of the UCDL, or before the date specified. The UCDL will issue provisional admission on the basis of the photocopies enclosed. Candidate must produce their original certificates for verification. The concerned Course Coordinator will check their original certificates and confirm their eligibility during the PCP classes. Candidates will not be allowed for year-end examinations without verification of the original certificates. The examinations Roll Nos. & Date sheet shall be uploaded on the University website seven/ten days before the commencement of examinations (Supplementary/Annual/Semester system. No migration certificate is required for taking admission in Open and Distance Learning Programme of CDLU, Sirsa and no migration certificate will be issued by the University after the completion of the course.
