Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour (Nov. 26, 1870 – Dec. 25, 1949). by his lifetime saving. How to Apply:

The candidates may obtain the Admission Guidelines along with Application form by downloading from the University website and enclosing a draft of Rs. 200 (Rs.50/- for SC/BC/DAP of Haryana only) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa payable at Sirsa. The Application Form duly filled in along with fee and requisite documents such as Detailed Marks Card of the qualifying examination and age certificate along with Haryana Domicile Certificate may be sent to the Director (UCDL), Room No. 01, Lal Bahadur Shashtri Administrative Block, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa-125055 (Haryana) or by hand on or before prescribed date.

The students are required to go through the Admission Guidelines carefully before filling up the application form and the students must visit the University website. Photocopies of the application form will not be accepted. The candidates should fill up the application form in his/her own handwriting with ball pen BLUE or BLACK in CAPITAL LETTERS only in English. Only good quality recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form. Please do not staple or pin the photograph. Do not sign on the pasted photograph. Attestation should not be done on the photograph. The name, date of birth and name of the father/mother/husband/guardian should correspond with those recorded in his/her SSC/Matriculation certificate or that of equivalent examination. Incomplete and improperly filled-up applications or not accompanied by the required fee and documents or applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected out rightly. No correspondence will be made in this regard. Candidates will not be allowed for year-end examinations without verification of the original certificates. The examinations Roll Nos. & Date sheet shall be uploaded on the University website seven/ten days before the commencement of examinations (Supplementary/Annual/Semester system.
