About College:

The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), established in April 1970, is a national level professional & non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It has a large membership of individuals and institutions involved in the area of training and development of Human Resource from Government, Public and Private Sector Organizations & Enterprises; Educational and Training Institutions and other Professional Bodies. The Society is affiliated to the International Federation of Training and Development Organizations (IFTDO), Geneva and Asian Regional Training and Development Organizations (ARTDO), Manila. Eligibility:

Graduate or it’s equivalent Diploma from a recognized university.

EXAMINATIONS

·         The Diploma Board operates through 30 Examination Centers all over India

·         Students can opt to appear for examinations in papers they have completed as and when the schedule for the same is announced. Students can choose to skip and appear for examination in the next batch as per rules

About College:

The genesis of the National Archives of India may be traced back to the year 1860 when Sandeman, the Civil Auditor, in his report stressed the need of relieving the offices of congestion by destruction of the papers of routine nature and transfer of all valuable records to a ‘Grand Central Archive’. However, things took a concrete shape in 1889, when Professor G.W. Forrest of Elphinstone College, Bombay was entrusted the job of examining the records of the Foreign Department of the Government of India. Earlier, he had earned reputation as an Archivist for his work in the Bombay Records Office. In his report, he made a strong plea for transferring all records of the administration of East India Company to a Central Repository. As a result, Imperial Records Department (IRD) came into existence on 11 March 1891 which was located in Imperial Secretariat Building at Calcutta (Kolkata). Professor G.W Forrest was made its Officer in Charge. His main task was to examine, transfer, arrange and catalogue records of all the Departments and to organise a Central Library in place of various Departmental Libraries. After G.W. Forrest, the work at Imperial Records Department (IRD) progressed well under S.C. Hill (1900), C.R. Wilson (1902), N.L. Hallward (1904), E. Denison Ross (1905), A.F. Scholfield (1915), R.A. Blaker (1919), J.M. Mitra (1920) and Rai Bahadur A.F.M. Abdul Ali (1922-1938) who were scholars as well as Records Keepers in their own right.

Equivalence for the qualifying degree shall be as per AICTE Gazette Notification ADVT.- III/4/Exty./40/2017(162) dated 28th April 2017 or latest Gazette notification or CoA guidelines/regulation.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Eligibility:

An applicant passing any of the following examination with atleast 50% marks in 12th board examination and must have passed English (Core/Elective/Functional) as a subject. The students appearing in class 12th board exam may also apply; provided at the time of admission, the applicant must fulfil the eligibility criteria.

(i)           Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

(ii)          Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

(iii)         Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE.

Note: Applicants who have appeared in the Annual Examination in the year 2019 and have been placed in compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2019.

How to Apply:

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM

The e-brochure may be downloaded from the website and application can be filled on line through the website by submitting onetime non-refundable fee amounting to Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) and online application processing charges of Rs.150/-+ GST.

COUNSELLING SCHEDULE

1.    Detailed schedule of first counselling/admissions indicating the number of qualified applicants for different programs, to be called for counselling will be notified on the website.

2.    If an applicant does not attend the 1st counselling she will have no claim on the seat already allotted to the applicant in the first round of counselling. However, applicants can participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling as per availability of seats in order of merit.

3.    In case, seats remain vacant during spot round then a special spot round may be conducted. These rounds would be open for any eligible applicant irrespective of whether she had filled application form or not. Those who have not applied earlier would be required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000/- besides the annual fee in the spot and special spot round.

4.    Applicants are advised to check the website regularly for updates. No separate communication will be sent.
