National Power Training Institute (NPTI), an ISO 9001 ISO 14001 organization, is a National Apex body for Training and Human Resources Development in Power Sector with its Corporate Office at Faridabad. NPTI operates on an all India basis through its Units in different power zones of the country located at Faridabad, Neyveli (1965), Durgapur (1968), Badarpur, New Delhi (1974), Nagpur (1975), Bangalore, Guwahati, Nangal, Centre for Advanced Management.

Post Graduate Diploma Course in Transmission and Distribution (PGDTD)

Eligibility:

B.E./B.Tech. OR equivalent in Electrical / Power / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION: On Merit basis (% in B.E./ B.Tech examination).

PLACEMENT: Many reputed companies visit NPTI for campus placement.

COURSE FEE: May be paid in two installments by non-sponsored candidates.

* GST extra @18% shall be charged separately on the fees.

There is no fee concession for any category. The cost of transportation to local industries/ utilities will be Rs 7000/- + 18% GST. Outstation transportation/ boarding/ lodging charges will be borne by the participants separately. A refundable caution money of ` Rs 4000/- for the students not residing in hostel and ` Rs 6000/- for hostel residents (refundable subject to full fee payment) is to be deposited at the time

of joining.

LODGING/ BOARDING: Hostel Facility is provided on first come first serve basis, subject to availability on nominal charges.
