The Mission

Aiming high towards the spread of education in the tertiary sector, dedicating itself towards removing all barriers that traditionally restrict access to University education, designing strategies resulting in reaching the unreached, and strive for promotion of standards and quality in programmes and activities.

The Objectives

a) To provide access to higher education to large segments of population, particularly to those disadvantaged groups living in remote and rural areas, and working people, housewives and other adults who wish to upgrade or acquire knowledge and skills;

b) To promote acquisition of knowledge and to continually offer opportunities for upgrading knowledge and skills in the con text of innovations, research" and discovery in all fields of human endeavour;
c) To provide an innovative system of education at the University level which is flexible and open in its methods and pace of learning, combination of courses, eligibility for enrollment arid age of entry, with a view to promoting learning,

d) To diversify and strengthen the degree, diploma certificate and courses relevant to national economy and employment opportunities, based on our natural and human resources;

e) To contribute to the improvement of the education system in the region and develop all those courses which will develop higher education in the region;

f) To provide education and training and undertake research in various fields of distance education.

The Campus

The School is located in the main Campus of Kakatiya University. The buildings include the administrative block as well as academic block. These two blocks accommodate main Academic Division, Computer Labs., Media Production Unit, Library and Reading Hall, Course Material Issuing Centre, Student Admission and Registration (SRED), Training Institute (DEQSTI), Research Cell, Finance Accounts and Administration, Central Stores, Examination Unit etc.

A vast play ground comprising of an athletic track, fields for football and indoor facilities for volley ball, badminton existing in the university campus are available for sports and games facilities for our students.

The emblem of Rayalaseema University represents the history as well as the geographical significance of Kurnool District, which is popularly known as the gateway to Rayalaseema.

The Sudarsana Chakra is the symbol of Dharma. The temple at Srisailam on the right bank of the Krishna is a rare but significant confluence of Jyothirlinga and Astadasa Sakti Peetha. SVUCET is conducted for taking admission to Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Education (M.Ed), Master of Library & Information Science (M.LISc.), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Space Technology offered in various disciplines in the campus and affiliated colleges of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati for the academic year 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for SVUCET 2017:

For M.Tech in Space Technology Program: Candidates should have M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech) in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Space Physics/ Electronics /Meteorology and Oceanography Engineering Physics or B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.

For M.Ed Program: Candidates should have B.Ed program.

For M.Com Programs: Candidates should have B.Com General/Computer Applications or BBM/ B.A with Accounting as a one of the subjects.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for SVUCET 2017:

Candidates are encouraged to apply online.

The candidate can apply more than one test in single registration. Such candidates have to pay the applicable fee depend upon the tests selected.

The payment of registration and processing fee Rs.300/- (SC/ST/PH) and fee Rs. 400/- (OC/BC/Others) should be made either by SBI generated challan or by online payment gateway (like credit/ debit card/ Net banking).

Paper Pattern for SVUCET 2017:

The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration and the question paper consists of 100 multiple choice type questions.

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, is established in 1954 in the world famous holy temple town of Tirupati on the sprawling campus of 1000 acres with a panoramic and pleasant hill view. AUCET is conducted for taking admission to various Science, Arts, Engineering and Law Courses offered in campus colleges of Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University (BRAU), Srikakulam, PG centers, and colleges affiliated to AU & BRAU offering PG programs for the session 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for AUCET 2017:

·         Candidates from other recognized universities are considered for admission into PG Arts and Science programs only if they possess a three-year bachelor degree of 10+2+3 or 12+3 or 11+1+3 pattern, with the prescribed minimum percentage of marks, unless otherwise specified.

·         Candidates who acquired bachelor degree by distance education without 10+2+3 pattern are also eligible for admission into PG programs, subject to submission of residence certificate.

·         The requirement for admission into all Science and Engineering programs offered by these universities is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (part II) of the qualifying examination unless or otherwise specified. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in group subjects (part II) is sufficient.

·         The requirement for Arts, Commerce and Law programs is generally a pass in the appropriate qualifying degree, except for M.Sc. Anthropology for which the requirement is a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group subjects (Part-II) in the qualifying examination and for SC& ST candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the group subjects. The requirement for M.Ed course is a pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC & ST candidates).

·         Candidates who have already passed their qualifying degree examination or who have appeared / are appearing for the final examination in 2017 only are eligible for AUCET-2017.

Application Procedure for AUCET 2017:

Candidates can apply online.

Application registration and processing fee of Rs. 500/- may be paid through SBI I-Collect/ Andhra Bank (billdesk)/ payment Gateway (credit/debit card).

Paper Pattern for AUCET 2017:

For all tests, the candidate has to answer 100 multiple choice questions in 90 minutes. Each question contains four alternative answers (a, b, c, d).

The candidate must mark the answer on OMR sheet and should not answer anywhere on the test booklet.

Question Paper (120 Marks) will be objective type. Multiple-choice questions and the answers should be marked on the OMR Sheets

Eligibility Criteria for ANUPGCET 2017:

For M.Sc in Aquaculture Program: Candidates should have B.Sc, With Zoology / Fisheries / Fishery Science / Aquaculture / Industrial Fish and Fisheries / Any of the Life sciences as one of the subjects.

For M.Ed Program: Candidates should have B.Ed degree.

For Integrated MBA Program: Candidates should have Intermediate (plus two) with any combination of optional subjects or its equivalent (including Diploma in Polytechnic) or 2 Years I.T.I.

For M.Com Program: All B.Com graduates can apply.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for ANUPGCET 2017:

Candidates can apply online.

The payment of registration and processing fee (Rs.500/- +Bank Commission per Test) should be made either by SBI generated challan or by online payment gateway (like Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking).

Paper Pattern for ANUPGCET 2017:

The entrance test will have 100 multiple choice questions carrying 100 marks to be answered in 90 minutes.

Candidates have to indicate their answers only on the OMR sheet provided along with the question paper.

No negative marks for wrong answers.

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of online applications: Monday, April 10, 2017.

Last date for submission of online applications with late fee of Rs.1100/-: Thursday, April 20, 2017.

Last date for submission of online applications with tatkal fee of Rs.1600/-: Monday, May 01, 2017.

Download of hall-tickets: Monday, May 01, 2017 onwards.

Date of ANUPGCET: Friday, May 05, 2017 to Sunday, May 07, 2017.
