Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad has announced the exam dates for NIMS Entrance Test Super Specialty (NIMSET-SS 2016), which will be conducted in June 2016. The NIMSET SS will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016. NIMSET broad specialty exam is conducted for taking admission to 3 years Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Clinical Pharmacology, Medical Oncology, Rheumatology and Master of Surgery (MS) in Urology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery programs for the year 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for NIMSET Super Specialty 2016:

·         Candidates who have passed (MD/MS/DNB) examination from Medical Colleges recognized by MCI or its statutory equivalent are eligible. Candidates who will be completing training period on or before 30/06/2016 are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for NIMSET Super Specialty 2016:

·         Candidates can obtain the application form.

·         A demand draft may be obtained for Rs.2,000/- in favour of the Director, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, payable at Hyderabad or by paying Rs.2,000/- in NIMS cash counter in person towards application fee.

·         The filled-in Application form will have to be printed and signed. The hard copy of the filled-in application form with all necessary documents and the DD/NIMS cash receipt shall be submitted in person or sent through the Indian Postal Services to the Associate Dean, Aptitude Testing, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Punjagutta, Hyderabad -500 082, Telangana State.

Paper Pattern for NIMSET Super Specialty 2016:

·         The entrance examination consists of 90 multiple choice questions (basic & clinical) in the concerned specialty carrying 90 marks to be answered in 90 minutes duration.

·         Each subject will have a separate paper.

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of application: Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Availability of hall tickets: Monday, June 20, 2016.

Date of NIMSET SS: Sunday, June 26, 2016.
