Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati has announced the exam dates for SPMVV Research Entrance Test (SPMVV-RESET 2016), which will be held in July 2016. The SPMVV-RESET exam will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016. The SPMVV-RESET is conducted for taking admission for women candidates to full time/part time Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs in various disciplines offered at the School of Science and School of Social Science, Humanities and Management for the academic session 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria for SPMVV-RESET 2016:

The candidate should possess a postgraduate degree of the concerned/ related subject of any recognized University, with a second class with a minimum of 55% of marks and 50% in the case of SC/ST and PHC candidates.

Application Procedure for SPMVV-RESET 2016:

Candidates can obtain the application form.

Filled in applications with a demand draft for Rs.1,650/- for general students and Rs.1,100/- for SC/ST/PHC students towards registration fee drawn in favour of the Registrar, SPMVV, Tirupati should reach the Dean, Examinations, SPMVV, Tirupati-517502.

Paper Pattern for SPMVV-RESET 2016:

The entrance test will be of 2 ½ (two and half) hours duration with part-A 50 objective type of questions for 50 marks and part-B descriptive type of questions (5 short essay out of eight questions of 10 marks each) for 50 marks.

The question paper and medium of writing RESET will be in English except for Telugu studies.

Date of entrance test: Saturday, July 23, 2016.
