About College:

Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO, is a poineering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. The Institute was initially established as an United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project and was executed by International Labour Organisation (ILO). The Precision machinery and equipment was donated by UNDP and the faculties were trained abroad in the area of Tool Engineering. The UNDP Experts stayed at CITD for about 5 years and trained officers, faculty & staff of CITD in manufacture and design of tooling.

Course Name:

Diploma in Tool, Die and Mould Making (DTDM)

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility:

10th Pass with 50% for general & 45% for SC / ST.

Age Limit:

Minimum 15 years, Maximum 19 years as on 1st April in the year of admission, Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

Course Name:

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (DECE)

Diploma in Automation and Robotics Engineering (DARE)

Diploma in Production Engineering (DPE)

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility:

10th Pass

Age Limit:

Minimum 15 years, Maximum 19 years as on 1st April in the year of admission, Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.

Eligibility:

B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical/ Production / Mechatronics or equivalent. Minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination

Age Limit: 45 Years

Course Name:

M.E. Design for Manufacture (MEDFM)

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

B.E. / B. Tech. Mechanical/Production/ Mechatronics/ Automobile / Aeronautical or equivalent. Minimum of 55% of marks in the qualifying examination

Age Limit: 45 Years

Admission Notification-2019” and the filled in application form can be sent to The Director (Trg), CITD, Balanagar, Hyderabad-500 037, along with prescribed application cost ₹ 800/- for General and ₹ 400/- for SC/ST category by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad or By Online at www.citdindia.org (detailed steps of online payment can be found from prospectus). However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly self attested.

PWD candidates are fully exempted from paying the application cost.
