SAAT 2017 is the Common Entrance Exam for Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University admission to UG and PG courses for the academic session 2017-18.

The University conducts SOA University Admission Test each year. Sikha 'O' Anusandhan University has announced that it will hold SAAT 2017 from 22nd - 25th April 2017 in 62 centres across 40 cities in India, except for medical & dental programmes (UG & PG)

Lateral Entry Programmes:

Under Lateral Entry (LE) scheme 20% of intake capacity of previous year in appropriate discipline and carry forward vacant seats of 1st year of Engineering, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Nursing, MCA will be filled up at the 2nd year level. These seats will be considered over and above the intake capacity. (Refer - Appendix-XVIII)

Eligibility:

For Bachelor Degree Programmes:

a) BTech, Dual Degree in Engineering, Dual Degree in Management: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Biology, Informatics, Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 50% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned.
OR
Pass in Diploma in Engineering, Technology with less than 60% marks in aggregate.
b) MBBS, BDS: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) or any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English individually and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes and Other backward Classes the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination can be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. For PH candidates qualifying examination marks is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. As per MCI & DCI guidelines candidates have to secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For SC, ST, OBC candidates the limit is minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. For PH candidates the limit is minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) taken together in the entrance test. All candidates must pass in English.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2017. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of  5 (five) years for the candidates of SC and ST.
c) BPharm: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics ,Biotechnology ,Computer Science, Biology, Information Technology or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority, by securing at least 45% marks taken together in the subjects mentioned (40% incase of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category) OR Pass in Diploma programme in Pharmacy with less than 60% marks.

d) BHMCT: Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% incase of SC, ST, OBC category)
e) BSc in Nursing (Basic): Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (in the year 2017) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC ,ST ,OBC candidates only. 

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2017.

f) BSc in Nursing (Post Basic): Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council. Candidate must be a member of TNAI.
g) Five years integrated BBA LLB Honours Programme: Pass or appearing (2017) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC, ST. Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st August 2017.

For Master Degree Programmes:

a) MTech: Pass or appearing in BE, BTech, AMIE, MCA, MSc in the respective discipline or equivalent. For MTech in Biotechnology, candidates having BTech, BE in Biotechnology or related fields, MSc in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent, MBBS, BPharm, BVSc with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. Candidates having MCA and MSc (Maths) degree are eligible for MTech in Comp Sc & Data Processing. Candidates with MSc (Electronics) are eligible for MTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and MTech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. MSc in Computer Science and IT are eligible for MTech in Computer Science & Engineering and CS&IT respectively. A candidate with BTech (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy) or MSc (Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Geology, Life Science, Botany, Zoology) is eligible for MTech in Environmental Science & Technology. For MTech Material Science & Technology candidate must have MSc (Physics),MSc (Chemistry) ,BTech (Electronics & Communication Engg), BTech (Electrical Engg) For admission to MTech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with at least 50% marks. GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MTech programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or valid GATE score and personal interview taken together. After the interview,the merit list prepared by the Board members will be final.
b) MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised University with at least 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC ,ST ,OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level. Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.
c) MBA, MHMCT, MHA, MHTM: Pass or appearing (2017) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts ,BE ,BTech ,MBBS ,BPharm, BSc Agri, BVSC, BHMS,BAMS, BDS, BPT,BHMCT ,BBA ,BCA examination or equivalent in 2017 from any recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC category). For MHMCT the candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC Category) in BHMCT. Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in GMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2017. They are required only to submit the filled up application form. Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD, PI), all taken together.
d) MPharm: Pass or appearing (2017) at BPharm examination from any recognized University with at least 50% marks. The candidates having valid GPAT score can apply. GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into MPharm programme will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or valid GPAT and personal interview taken together and a final merit list will be prepared. e) MSc in Biotechnology Pass or appearing (2017) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Engineering, Technology, Medicine (MBBS,BDS) from any recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC category).

f) MSc in Nursing: Passed BSc Nursing (Basic, Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area but they should be registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
g) LLM: Pass or appearing (2017) Bachelor Degree in Law or studied Integrated Law Course or equivalent thereof, from any recognized University, securing 50% Marks in aggregate.
For Lateral Entry Programmes:

a) Admission to 2nd year Degree Programme in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma holders: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year diploma course in Engineering ,Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent. For Pharmacy, pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at two year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP) or SCTE&VT, Odisha, or equivalent.

b) Lateral Entry MCA: Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) in three year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), BSc in Information Technology and BSc in Computer Science with at least 60% of marks in aggregate from any recognized University.
c) Choice of Discipline: Candidates having Diploma in Engineering indicated under Column – I are eligible for admission into the corresponding discipline only mentioned under Column – II (Appendix - XVIII). Candidates will appear a common paper in the entrance test and the branch allotment will be done during the counselling as per Appendix-XVIII.

NOTE: Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination (in the year 2017) may also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination with pass mark in individual appropriate subjects as mentioned for different programmes on the day of counseling, failing which the rank ,position secured in the entrance examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admission as per the rank. The above mentioned clause is also applicable for pass out candidates. e.g.: For BTech the candidate has to secure pass mark in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject.

Ø       Application Form & Information Brochure of SAAT–2017 can be obtained in Person, by Post from the SOA University, Khandagiri Square, Bhubaneswar - 751030. Forms are also available at different counters of the constituent institutes of the university.

Ø       Application form & information brochure of SAAT–2017 can also be obtained from designated branches of Axis Bank, Syndicate Bank & Punjab National Bank (enlisted in Appendix-XIX).

Ø       Application form & information brochure of SAAT-2017 is available at website. The candidates have to fill up the details online, make payment by Debit Card, Credit Card Rs. 500/- (on account of examination fees),take print out of application form, affix a recent colour photograph and send it by Post, courier.

Ø       Candidates can also fill up the details online, take print out of application form, affix a recent colour photograph and send it by Post, courier alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs 500/- (on account of examination fees) drawn in favour of SIKSHA ‘O’ ANUSANDHAN UNIVERSITY, Bhubaneswar, Payable at Bhubaneswar.

Instructions for SAAT-2017 Online Application Form

1.   Check that the online application form has been properly and completely filled up (For details regarding filling up the application form refer the SAAT 2017 information brochure).
2.   Application process: Incomplete application will not be accepted. Please follow the below mentioned process below to complete your application process.
Step1. Fill up the application form & Proceed to payment

Step2. Select the payment method - Demand Draft, Online payment (Debit, Credit Card of any bank is accepted)

Step3. The Demand Draft payment method selection will complete the application process. If you select online payment it will redirect to the Merchant gateway. You need to fill up your card information and pay for the same and ensure the amount displayed is Rs 500/- . The payment gateway will authorize and capture the payment and redirect to our University website for confirmation of the Application process is complete. Do not close, refresh, hit back button at the merchant gateway till the payment process is complete. (The system will record the whole application process. Do not close the window until you have completed step 1 to 3 or else the application process will be invalid.)

Step4. Download your Application Copy and take the print out of the application form. The link to download the application form will be send to your mail.

Step5. Fill up the Demand Draft details as specified in the application form. (Demand Draft of 500/- in favor of “Siksha O AnusandhanUniversity”, Payable at Bhubaneswar).

Step6. Please retain a photocopy of filled up application form and the bank draft with you for future reference. On the back side of the Demand draft write your Application Number, Name & Course code.

Step7. The candidate and parent, guardian and the candidate must sign on the form as specified in the application form.

The BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test) is a university level entrance test organized by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. It is organized to provide admission in first year degree in various UG and PG programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc courses. The BITS offers admission in three campuses i.e. BITS Pilani Campus, K. K. Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:

For admission to all programmes (except B.Pharma): Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Subjects

For admission in B.Pharma: Candidates must have cleared 12th or equivalent exam with PCB or PCM group with English subject.

Candidates must have obtained 75% marks in PCB or PCM group.

Candidates appearing in qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Aspirants who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or earlier are not eligible to apply.

BITSAT 2017 Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode (computer based mode).

Sections: The question paper will consist of four sections.

Duration: The exam duration will be three hours.

No of Questions: The question paper will comprises of 150 objective type questions.

Marking Scheme: For each correct response three marks will be awarded.

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Negative marking will not be considered for no response.

BITSAT 2017 Application Form

Candidates can fill and submit the BITSAT 2017 Application Form online through the official website of BITSAT.

The applications form has been available from 29th December 2016.

Offline application forms will not be available for this exam.

The application fee for BITSAT exam is RS.2750/- (Rs.2250/- for female candidates).

If candidate has opted Dubai as a test center, the application fee will be US $60 (Rs.4000/-) for both male and female candidates.

The application fee payment can be made through net banking, credit/debit card or by cash payment at any branch of ICICI Bank.

Candidates are suggested to keep the printout of filled application form for further use.

In order to facilitate a large number of students all over India to participate in this test, apart from Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses of BITS where it is expected that a large number of students will take the test, the Institute is also planning to offer the tests at dedicated test centers in several cities

Educational Qualification: Passed 12+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of (i) Forty Five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP)/NRI/NRI sponsored categories and (ii) Forty percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. CLAT Admission Process 2017 

Aspirants seeking admission into undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes need to appear for CLAT 2017. The admission process of CLAT begins with the examination notification and availability of application forms. The CLAT 2017 applicants then will have to appear for the common law admission test. Based on their performance in the law examination, candidates will be awarded All India Ranks (AIRs) and CLAT 2017 scores which will be accepted by various law schools including NLUs. CLAT Application Form 2017

CNLU Patna will begin application form of CLAT 2017 from January 1 aspirants can fill CLAT 2017 online application form only after registering themselves for the common law admission test. CLAT 2017 registrations can be done by providing a valid e-mail id and mobile number. The online applications of CLAT 2017 can be filled after logging into the application form window through CLAT 2017 registered account and password. Candidates will also need to pay an application fee of Rs. 4000 before submitting the form. CLAT 2017 application form needs to be filled before the last date, i.e., March 31, 2017; otherwise no applications will be entertained thereafter.

CLAT Admit Card 2017

The NLU Patna will be issuing admit card of CLAT 2017 in April. Applicants can download their CLAT 2017 admit cards by entering login id and password through official link. CLAT 2017 admit card will be hall ticket to appear in the law admission test. No candidate will be allowed to take the law examination without the CLAT admit card (hall ticket). The admit card of CLAT 2017 will mention candidature as well as examination details including name and roll number of the candidate, timing and venue of the examination.

CLAT Syllabus 2017

Candidates need to check syllabus of CLAT 2017 as it’ll help them in preparing for the law entrance exam. CLAT 2017 syllabus mentions important sections and their topics. With CLAT syllabus, candidates will be able to know which topics should be focussed more and the unimportant topics that should be left out. CLAT Exam Pattern 2017

CNLU Patna will be announcing exam pattern of CLAT 2017 in January. The common law admission test will be held on May 14, 2017. CLAT 2017 exam pattern needs to be gone through as the NLU administered admission test is one of the competitive examinations and with a better understanding of the question pattern, one could tackle the paper. As per CLAT 2017 exam pattern (paper pattern), the exam will be held online. The candidates can attempt a total of 200 questions carrying one mark each in two hours test duration. CLAT committee follows negative marking policy, under which 0.25 marks each will be deducted from the total scored marks for wrong answers.

CLAT Exam Centres 2017

The exam centres of CLAT 2017 list out the cities across India where the online examination will be conducted. CLAT 2017 exam centres will be announced by CNLU Patna in January, as the exam will be held in over 175 testing locations across the country. Applicants will be communicated about their admission testing venue through their CLAT 2017 admit cards. CLAT Answer Key 2017

CLAT Merit List (Rank List) 2017

CNLU Patna will be releasing merit list of CLAT 2017 along with the results. The merit list can also be considered as CLAT 2017 rank list as it will mention All India Ranks (AIRs) of all the candidates appearing the common law admission test. CLAT 2017 merit list (rank list) will specify total number of test takers, their scores, subject-wise marks and State Ranks besides AIRs. It has been made practice from the year 2015 to issue CLAT merit list in public so as to maintain transparency in the examination system.

CLAT Cut off 2017

The examination committee will be announcing cut off of CLAT 2017 after issuing merit lists. CLAT 2017 cut off is regarded as maximum rank secured by a candidate to be offered admission in the NLUs. The CLAT cut off will be determined by the exam committee in accordance with the result and merit list of the admission test. CLAT 2017 cut off will also depend on various factors including total number of test takers, minimum marks, maximum marks and admitting seats. Candidates will be allowed to participate in the admission counselling, only of they meet CLAT cut off 2017.

CLAT Seat Allotment 2017

Candidates will be allotted seats in the participating NLUs as per CLAT 2017 seat allotment process, which form an important part of CLAT admission counselling. If a candidate accepts the allotted seat, he/ she needs to deposit the requisite amount of fee within a given due date. The seat will be automatically forfeited, in case of non-deposition of fees. The exam committee will be issuing next seat allotment list, only after the admission has been conducted based on previous list. There will be as many as three such CLAT 2017 seat allotment lists published.

CLAT Participating Institutes 2017

As many as 18 National Law Universities will be participating in CLAT 2017. The list of CLAT 2017 participating institutes also mention various law schools besides the NLUs which accept scores of the common law admission test. As per the CLAT participating institutes’ list, the 18th and the latest addition is Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur. Candidates appearing the law admission test vie for the NLUs including NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata and NLIU Bhopal which are the most preferred NLUs by the law aspirants and are the founding member of the CLAT committee.

CLAT Seats and Reservation 2017

The Common Law Admission Test is conducted for offering admissions to as many as 2352 seats in the undergraduate law programmes and 604 postgraduate programme seats. The admission committee follows government policy for reservation of CLAT seats. While some of the NLUs have seats reserved for candidates possessing state domicile, each of them have the other seats reserved for the distinctive categories–Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Criterion 2 – Age limit: The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1991 if belonging to the GEN or OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1986 if belonging to the SC, ST or PWD category.

Criterion 3 – Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.

For admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses candidate must have passed in English also.

How to Apply:

Application Procedure for MP DMAT 2016:

·         Candidates can obtain the application form from Sunday, April 10, 2016.

·         Application forms are available at all member colleges, DMAT office and selected bramches of SBI on payment of Rs. 3000/- by cash or through DD in favour of "APDMC" payable at Bhopal.

Paper Pattern for MP DMAT 2016:

·         There will be one common paper with 200 multiple choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology for duration of three hours and maximum marks of 200.

·         There will be 50 questions asked from each subject.

Important Dates:

Last date of submission of application form: Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

Last date of submission of application form with late fee of Rs. 200/-: Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Date of MP DMAT: Sunday, May 15, 2016.
