About College:

Agra has been renowned at the national and international levels as a centre for educational excellence, and industrial developments apart from tourist attraction. The city not only attracts foreign visitors for site-seeing but the industries like Leather, Foundry and Handicrafts also made it very popular across the globe. Although the Footwear manufacturing in this area had started centuries before Indian independence, but the sector was not fully developed, as the basic infrastructure was not available at that time. It was actually beginning of sixties when the leather producers and other entrepreneurs thought of value addition to leather by converting it into footwear and other leather goods as the basic raw material i.e. leather was available in abundance. Although, the skilled workforce was available in plenty in some parts of the country, but there was acute shortage of managerial and the supervisory staff with technical qualifications.

Course Name:

PG Higher Diploma in Footwear Technology and Management Studies (PGHDFTMS) 18 months

Eligibility:

Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or MBA, MCom, MCA (Preference will be given to Engineering graduates.)

Age: 20 years and above

Selection Procedure: Through written test and/or Interview.

How to apply:

Interested candidates can apply on prescribed application form along with the copies of testimonials in proof of age, qualification, category etc. claimed in application, to the director, CFTI, Agra.

Prospectus Cost: At CFTI counter- Rs. 600/- and through post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of Director, CFTI, Agra along with the Application Download from the institutes website.

Reservation: As per Govt. of India norms. Tuition fee only is exempted for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

Hostel Facility: Available for both boys and girls separately.
