About College:
HAL Management Academy (HMA) was established in August 1969 and has completed 48 years of fruitful contribution to the cause of Management Education with a focus on Management Development, Consultancy and Research in Aerospace field. People development initiatives take a strategic role for driving business results. In this direction, a wide variety of training programs are conducted by HAL Management Academy (HMA) for executives from entry level to the senior most level in the organization to develop functional, operational, technical, managerial and leadership competencies. As an Aeronautical giant and as one of the largest Aeronautical Complexes in Asia with 20 Production Divisions and 11 R&D Centres, HAL has a wealth of knowledge and experiential learning in the field of Aerospace Technology and Management. Utilizing this knowledge pool and faculty with industry experience, HMA has emerged as a Centre for Aerospace Technology and Management.
The history and growth of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is synonymous with the growth of Aeronautical industry in India for more than 77 years. The Company which had its origin as the Hindustan Aircraft Limited was incorporated on 23 Dec 1940 at Bangalore by Shri Walchand Hirachand a farsighted visionary in association with the Government of Mysore with an Authorised Capital of Rs.4 crores (Paid up capital Rs.40 lakhs) and with the aim of manufacturing aircraft in India. In March 1941, the Government of India became one of the shareholders in the Company holding 1/3 of its paid-up capital and subsequently took over its management in 1942. In collaboration with the Inter Continental Aircraft Company of USA, Hindustan Aircraft Company commenced its business of manufacturing of Harlow Trainer, Curtiss Hawk Fighter and Vultee Bomber Aircraft.

Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management (PGDAM) [AICTE Approved] {Duration: 15 months}
Eligibility:
· Bachelor’s degree (min 3 years) in Science/Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Engineering.
· Min 50% marks in qualifying exam for general category and min 45% marks for reserved category.
· Min 5 years professional experience (after graduation).
