About College:

National Institute of Rural Development is an autonomous organisation of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The institute's services are available to different ministries/ departments of the Central and State Governments, banking institutions, public and private sector organisations, civil society organisations and other national and international agencies connected with rural development. NIRD aim is to examine and analyse the factors contributing to the improvement of economic and social well-being of people in rural areas on a sustainable basis with focus on the rural poor and the other disadvantaged groups through research, action research and consultancy efforts and facilitate the rural development efforts with particular emphasis and focus on the rural poor by improving the knowledge,skills and attitudes of rural development officials and non-officials through organising training, workshops and seminars.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Rural Management (PGDM-RM) Batch-3 [Approved By AICTE] Full Time Residential Programme 2020- 22

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

·         Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates) or equivalent in Graduation. 

·         Valid Score in CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA/ GMAT for admissions 

·         Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements before 15th June 2020, may also apply

SELECTION PROCESS: Should have valid score in any of the qualifying exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA during the year 2019-20 have to apply through online from in web portal i.e. www.nirdpr.org.in/pgdrdm.aspx. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews for final selection.

·         A Application fee of Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST and PWD candidates) will be accepted through Online only. 

·         A valid Registration/Application Number of any one of the Management Admissions Tests (CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT) 

·         Valid and active personal Email-Id 

·         Valid Mobile Number for verification and future correspondence 

·         Applications received after the last date shall not be accepted. 

·         NIRDPR reserves the right to make changes to the Management Programme, its design/content and the process of selection, depending upon the exigencies without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

·         Qualified in All-India Entrance Test conducted by NIRDPR, Hyderabad

·         Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements before 15th June 2020, may also apply.

SELECTION PROCESS: Selection of candidates will be made through a process of All-India Entrance Test which will test the verbal, quantitative and analytical competencies of the students including English Language (or) Should have valid score in any of the qualifying exams: CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / GMAT during the year 2019-20. Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will be conducted for the short-listed candidates at NIRDPR, Hyderabad.

ENTRANCE TEST: The Entrance Test will be conducted on 19th April, 2020 at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, Pune and Thiruvanantapuram. However, NIRDPR reserves the right to cancel any of the centres or add new centres for any administrative reasons and assign any other centre to the applicants.

About College:

Osmania University is named after its founder, Nawab Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad who rather through a farman or Royal Charter, brought the University into existence in 1918. It is the seventh oldest in the Country and third oldest in South India. Though the need for the University for the Hyderabad State was felt, both by the intelligentia and the people for a long time, the initiative came from a civil servant, Sir Akbar Hydari, who was then the Home Secretary to the State Government. Sir Hydari, in a memorandum to the Education Minister in Early 1917, emphasized the need to establish a University of Hyderabad with 'Urdu' as the medium of instruction "as it is the language of the widest currency in India, official language of the State, and it is a language which is understood by a vast majority of the population of the State." The submission of application is through online mode only. A registration fee of Rs. 1000/- has to be paid through payment gateway using Credit/Debit cards or Net Banking before the submission of online application.
